Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Approaches

In the following article, I’ll lay out a few of the fundamental ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried several ways myself, and will share what works best for me.

Let’s lay out some of the methods that are promotional that are most frequent.

Please be aware, this is not the methods all. But, being a member of many Clickfunnels Facebook classes, these are the ways I commonly see mentioned.

  • Facebook Ads
  • Google Adwords
  • Bing Advertising
  • Email Marketing
  • Share Funnels
  • SEO
  • Solo Advertising

Below, we will discuss each method slightly more in depth. Hopefully this might help you decide which method best contrasts with you.

Facebook Advertising

Among the most usual ways of promoting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Ads. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels instructs you to do so in their Affiliate BootcampTabbed Content Clickfunnels

The majority of people who tend to advertise via Facebook, utilize one of Russell Brunson’s novels as the lead offer. Either Dotcom Secrets, or  Expert Secrets.

Now, is this way effective?

For me personally it was not. I discovered that because this is taught in the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.

Essentially, that’s exactly what it is. Now, some people offer a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up try and get the customer to take the free + shipping publication offer.

This turns out to be a much more effective approach, if you’re wishing to go the Facebook advertisement route.

Google Adwords

Next, is just another paid traffic origin; Google Adwords.

Now, a lot of people have made a whole lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, with Adwords. The most popular and well-known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.

This is with good reason, seeing as he’s broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate.

The down side to Google Adwords, is how competitive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.

Due to the popularity of his course, many individuals have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of a single Clickfunnels trial through the roof.

I have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.

Not sure about you, but that is just a little too rich for my blood.

Bing Ads

Because of Adwords being high, some individuals have turned to advertisements on Bing.

Although Bing isn’t quite as popular as Google, keep in mind it’s still accountable for around 33 percent of all web traffic.

Lately in case you have an Android phone, you may have discovered after clicking a link on your email, the URL opens into Bing instead of Google.

As a result of this, I’d anticipate Bing traffic to rise. So, it may be a excellent opportunity for Bing Ads. In fact, I know of a couple people who are extremely effective with them.

Email Marketing

This method could work in conjunction with paid traffic, or as a stand alone entity.

First off, you need to have an email list built first. You want the listing to be built with an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO niche).

Another viewer that may do nicely as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you’ve got business contacts in your list. Especially people in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.

From that point you’d want to market Clickfunnels in your email followups. Instead that’s by providing a great deal of free price, or a direct magnet. Or, even a share funnel, which we will discuss next.

Because it’s said that it takes someone around 7 days of seeing something average, before they buy; the aim here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.

The end result will be that a certain percentage of people may end up accepting the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them guidance, or free tools etc to assist them along. Tabbed Content Clickfunnels

The end aim is obviously you want them to become a paying subscriber, where you would create a recurring commission for each month they remain.

Share Funnels

This is a really effective way of accessing Clickfunnels trials. The downside for this, is that you have to be a Clickfunnels member, and be decent at building a funnel.

What you will do, is drive visitors to a landing page, where you actually give away these funnels for free.

The purpose here, is for people not to be Clickfunnels members already, so they will need to join with your link, then import the funnel into their dashboard.

Does this work, it was the very first strategy that actually worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in most cases.

The brand new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which can potentially enable them to start collecting trials immediately. Also at precisely the exact same time, it lands the Clickfunnels consumer who supplied the funnel, fresh trials. From that point, you’d send some useful followup emails, together with guidance on the best way to land the visitors, and how to turn them into paying members.

Most likely, you will also be getting emails out of the funnel builder. Because just as if you’re working to convert trials with your funnel, they’re attempting to convert you.

It is not quite as easy as it sounds. Since in order for this to be effective, you have to get traffic naturally. This can be accomplished by either paid traffic, email advertising or SEO; that we will talk about today.

SEO

For those of you that don’t understand, SEO is my bread and butter. Sureit takes longer to begin making progress. But, it involves little to no cash to get started.

The goal behind SEO, would be to compose high quality and beneficial posts (like this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc..

Once it takes a while to rank, after it does a good article can bring in traffic for years to come; using minimal maintenance.

This was my preferred method when starting out, since I didn’t want to sink a good deal of money into compensated traffic. The disadvantage concerning paid visitors, is that although it’s possible to get traffic quick, you have to constantly keep sinking money into advertisements, or the traffic stops.

You don’t need to worry about this with SEO.

Though I haven’t made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are profit.

Here’s a screenshot of my dashboard in the time of this writing.

clickfunnels-affiliate

I began getting Clickfunnels traffic. So, about 9 weeks ago.

As you can see, I have earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.

The good thing about SEO, is the way that it starts to compound once your website (s) start to rank.

Solo Ads

Last on my list, is solo ads.

Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to building an email list.

You probably will not get any trials, maybe a stray 1 or 2 from running a solo advertising. But, you should get a decent amount of optins to your list.

From there, you’d use the email marketing strategy, to attempt to convert your new list subscribers to Clickfunnels trials. With effective email marketing, this may be a great way to earn commissions in the long term.

The good news about solo advertisements, is that they are a list where you will permanently own.

You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.

You do own your email list.

If Facebook closed down tomorrow, I know a great deal of people , who would be SOL.

Another incentive to solo ads, is that once you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It is not for Clickfunnels.

Affiliate Bootcamp

Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp. You can register here for free. The motto for this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”. Although I find that a bit extreme, it is extremely informative, and can be quite beneficial if you decide to undergo it. To be able to do each of the coaching, you may at least need to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.

If after 2 weeks of trialing, you don’t feel like paying it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I’ve done it myself in the past.

It is done through the dashboard, therefore there’s absolutely no need to need to talk to anybody about it, should you decide it is not for you.

Overview

So, as you can see – it can be very profitable as a Clickfunnels affiliate. Like with anything, there are many people who neglect. But if you merely do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you’ll be successful. Tabbed Content Clickfunnels

My advice for you would be to select 1 method which resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of people who stay stuck, since they split their attention in too many directions.

This doesn’t help you scale. It holds you back.
