What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in only 3 years it’s been, at the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet marketing industry.” Here’s the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for businesses and entrepreneurs to market things online using otherwise complex marketing technologies, known as sales funnels (more on those in a second).

The creator of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned as his invention, and for good reason. He’s made a fortune, not only from ClickFunnels, but advertising adventures. He played around with email advertising for some time, and began to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is Expert Secrets, two books and the author of DotCom Secrets that his lovers rave about and that guide people. You are able to pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his website here. Get Expert Secrets free on his own website Clickfunnels Webinar Chat Generator

ClickFunnels started out as a means to assist Brunson and his staff create funnels more rapidly for different ventures, as creating funnels would usually take weeks. But they had good potential as a product and soon realized their production would be useful to others.

What Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it’s a process that takes people who do not know you and turns them into customers, aka a advertising funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a set of measures designed to direct a website visitor.

There is a method of considering it. Measure 1: Imagine that a funnel. Step 2: Envision this funnel is actually a metaphor, and rather than real ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients you call internet traffic or site visitors. Your site visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your site is beautifully designed, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, that still doesn’t turn many of your visitors . In a physical store, that’s like people walking in to your shop but not understanding where the cash register is, so they leave the shop without buying anything. In a physical store, you can speak your customers. In a digital store, you may be a little more distant from the visitors. That is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to appeal to your clients’ . The funnel functions incremental, bring traffic in closer and closer till people wind up at a page.

You are correct, if you think that sounds cool –it’s turned into a huge bargain for advertising. Russell Brunson did get rich by promoting ClickFunnels technology, but by using it.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some good information: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is intended to save time and energy–to do exactly what otherwise demands a whole lot of competence and/or an array of third party applications. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Cash

Among the greatest things about ClickFunnels is its focus on making the consumer money. They make it put your content up, quite simple to produce your accounts, and begin taking payments. Plus, it is rather easy to select up everything –it will likely take you a few hours to find out most of what you require, max.

Drag and Drop Builder

A few features are extremely useful here. I like how simple it is to duplicate pages, and the fact I will save templates for use again later. Their webpage builder is a feature that is pretty important, and they’ve pulled it off nicely. As soon as you get used to it, it’s an easy to use drag and drop builder.

A/B analyzing

Constructed in A/B testing is great. All you need to do is replicate a page, make your adjustments, and pick the numbers of the visitors you want to see version A or B.

Great Choice of Integrations

I think ClickFunnels manages API integrations . Email autoresponders and payment processors aren’t too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are easy to control.

WordPress Plugin

You will also find a useful WordPress plugin that allows you insert ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress site. It saves a lot of time and is a lot less of a hassle than functioning between ClickFunnels and WordPress with no plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin can be rated a strong 4.4 stars in the WordPress plugin , with over 20,000 active installations.

All in 1

In general, it is good to get things so concentrated: I will construct my landing pages, create forms and purchase forms, and activate emails all from one platform.

All this really will save time and money, resources you would otherwise have to invest on developers, CSShosting configurations, etc.

Reasonable Worth

You may be sure the lower-tiered account is a good investment–what you’re permitted for a StartUp account is really decent. In case you have more than 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, then the full suite might not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Webinar Chat Generator

ClickFunnels isn’t perfect, but it does a great job of packaging great tools together and making them accessible. It arguably saves most users a hassle they’d have if they tried to handle funnels another manner.

Disadvantages: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: even though ClickFunnels is overall strong, it’s a number of places that need work.

A drawback is the price. There are only two alternatives, at either $97 a month or $297 a month. From the grand scheme of things, this isn’t another investment in your business a drawback, and like I have mentioned, you receive a package for it.

Lackluster Customer Service

Beyond this, client support is iffy at best. In my experience, they have been nice with basic questions, but if you inquire more difficult things, especially about more innovative features, they won’t be very beneficial.

Cult-like user base and software also reliant on Creator

This is not an objective criticism of the merchandise but I take a small problem with their advertising that I believe is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it’s hard to escape the hype surrounding it. They’ve a advertising for sure. However, from a user experience standpoint, it can acquire obtrusive. Once you register for the software, you may attempt to look at the purpose features of the software and incorporate it in your own workflow, or you’ll be lost and forced to find out Russell Brunson’s marketing procedures.

This usually means you will end up buying online courses, publications, attending seminars, and getting sucked into the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k associates and many articles consists of people flashing their sport cars and bragging about how much money they created. Though these numbers are real, the users give an impression that they are more concentrated on making quick cash rather than building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped folks do good things, but it’s also helped proliferate fast rich schemes, on line classes, saturation of coaches and specialists, and other spammy online entrepreneurs stuff.

Most of us know the creator is a marketing but much of the item is tied to his own brand and his doctrine. As much as I appreciate the landing page builder, everything about it looks like an expansion of Brunson’s platform.

At times it’s difficult not to get the sensation that ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than mandatory, especially when a few aspects of the product (i.e., client service) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one isn’t on ClickFunnels however more on the community. While you have the ability to customize broadly within ClickFunnels, a lot of people use similar layouts. Taking into consideration the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has led to a large amount of ClickFunnel-y looks floating around. Diversity is vital.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels experience some mistakes or will return. Though this really doesn’t occur often, there’s little you can do but wait. If you are investing a great deal in advertising or forcing visitors to your funnels and a ClickFunnels’ glitch brings down your pages for even a few hours, then you may potentially lose a lot of money.

In addition, it is hard to know if your pages are functioning or not, if you don’t constantly check or wait till you hear from angry clients. When I replicate webpages using the HTML printing option barring uptime, I deal with some glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes often, the stream of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will proceed, pricing choices alter, etcand it seems ClickFunnels is still figuring things out.

I like consistency within my software if it is a business solution.

Too Straightforward

At length, a criticism I’ve heard but don’t quite agree with personally: it is too simple, and too pricey for its simplicity. All these criticisms have a tendency to refer to do-it-yourself approaches which may be cheaper upfront and give more control over handling specific details. However, for less experienced users who are mainly seeking efficiency and an simple to use bundle of tools, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels includes two pricing programs –StartUp and Etison Suite, rather called ClickFunnels and Full Suite–and even StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 per month and Etison comes in at $297 a month. For what it is worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to test the service, so at least you do not need to commit to an expensive plan straight away. Should you pay annually rather than monthly, you get two months free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Full Package ).

Nonetheless, a bit hefty huh? Well, some might say , and that I can see why–especially in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a similar (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 per month. However, it’s necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ main service is to make funnels more effective, and it does a fairly good job. I personally consider it a fantastic investment.

The principal differences between an entry level consideration and a premium account are as follows: StartUp receives the principal service, the funnel-builder, with a few limitations on the number of webpages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only some of the complete list of features.

However, both programs have unlimited contacts, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B divide tests, and some other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite includes a complete list of features, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack feature that lets you characterize a product as a one-time payment merchandise for your own payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time payments, this allows your customers pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp has 1); boundless funnels, pages, visits, and spiritual domain names; priority support and template asks; also as Actionetics and Backpack.

If you’re confused with Etison/ Full Suite, don’t worry, it is perplexing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail in the following section of the ClickFunnels review.

To summarize the gaps, StartUp essentially conveys the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which is called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Total Package, on the other hand, packs the foundation instrument ClickFunnels with two other providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and gives you the full set of ClickFunnels attributes. You can watch the full official record .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

How are ClickFunnels’ attributes overall? I believe they’re strong and you get everything you need. They’re largely intuitive and supply you with a good amount of control. The template editor and integration management system are all good examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them different sections. Clickfunnels Webinar Chat Generator

A/B split testing is definitely, although a smaller feature a one.

If you replicate a webpage and also make changes to the copy, the split test basically enables you to choose what percentages of your traffic you need to view per page, letting you examine conversion rates very conveniently. It’s easy to use and a fantastic function.

I also believe ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for different settings, like your account information or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them restrictive (a common theme among a few criticisms), but as the service is supposed to be easy to work with, I believed the basic features were pretty good.

There are quite a few types of available pre-made funnels, oriented to several types of businesses, and you can obviously build your personal funnel from scratch too.

Actionetics and Backpack

I’ll only take a minute in this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. Total Suite is just three products being packaged as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What’s Actionetics? Well, it’s what many would call an e-mail or only an auto-responder, but it is a little more complicated. The chief objective of Actionetics is smart analytics which result in clever auto-responding, but the auto-responding involves snail mail in addition to email, and a few other goodies. Together with Actionetics comes Backpack (formerly Backpack CRM), an instrument designed to make managing an affiliate system simpler and more effective.

However, are these attributes, or products that are separate? Actionetics sounds somewhat like ClickFunnels trying to sell an iffy email auto-responder for me personally, but maybe I am just cynical. Whatever the case, it gets Full Suite a bit confusing and eliminates the coherency you get together with the original ClickFunnels.

Here is the Complete list of StartUp attributes
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 traffic
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 habit domains
  • A/B split tests
  • Email integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All innovative funnels
  • Revenue funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Unlimited members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Purchase pages
  • Upsell pages
  • Downsale webpages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 charging integration per form

You can view the full list of features, along with complete Suite attributes, here. If you’re in a situation where you are able to manage to try out Etison for a bit and you also absolutely require an efficient, simple method of increasing sales, I don’t believe you would wind up shorted. By that same token, I don’t think Actionetics and Backpack offer such a massive benefit that you can not do without themfor most users, just StartUp will provide a comprehensive enough package.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is likely ClickFunnels’ attribute, so I wanted to devote exclusive attention to it. In reality, I feel a large portion of why I gave ClickFunnels a top rating has to do with it turned into a really solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction software and advertises its own funnel approach, but truth be told, I use it largely with this landing page builder.

Anyhow, there is quite an array of templates with good designs, though as you can expect, just the templates created by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are coordinated by funnel type, so poking around is not too hard.

You can even save certain templates and make personal page templates, and it is rather easy to see them. As you can see, you open in the editor and can toggle with basic settings.

You be working using a drop and drag builder When your pages open from the editor. It is a bit more complicated than some other light page builders, but it’s still easy to use.

The editor uses a webpage structure with four main components: sections, columns, rows, and elements. Consider these components as fitting inside each other (this article includes a very helpful diagram). Basically: columns, rows, and components go inside of sections. You can have several sections per page. Rows and columns go inside sections, but columns specifically enter rows. This way you may have up to four, or a row with one column. Elements are the bits that also make your page interactive and go columns.

It may sound complicated, but it is pretty easy to get the hang of. Everything is color-coded–for example, in the above screenshot, the selection is a mild green box since it’s a section, but if I was hovering over a component, it would be orange.

You can even edit by section, row, column, etc, via the side bar. All of the details and parts of your webpage can be altered or moved. The editor allows for lots of customization, but offers control that is good too. You can do all sorts of things–cellular previews, edit colours, text, configurations, and nearly anything you expect. If you’re handy with code, you may also add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A little criticism I’ve heard (but don’t have ) on the builder is the way grid-like it’s –you need to work within these rows and columns. I personally do not believe this is a huge issue and the builder gives you sufficient control without sacrificing ease of use, but it may be worth a mention.
Overall, I enjoy the page builder a good deal. It makes designing your landing page very simple, and it serves ClickFunnels’ goal: to make it easier for you to make money online.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like: additional marketing tools you incorporate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few different kinds of integrations you are able to add to your ClickFunnels account: email, webinar, SMS/text, and actions. By way of instance, you might add MailChimp to your ClickFunnels since you like MailChimp’s auto-responding applications and you’re registered with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has a few noteworthy partners you can enhance your integrations. Here’s a list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Continuous Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to a integrations section, you can search for these or simply click on the search bar, and they’ll come up. It’s pretty self-explanatory, simply click on the one. Clickfunnels Webinar Chat Generator

The process for managing integrations can also be simple, though you may need to check your third party program’s documentation to find precisely what ClickFunnels needs. In general, you’ll find the process pretty simple. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few attributes, such as the page builder, so it’s much appreciated to have a very simple way of incorporating and managing integrations.

Related to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways get integrated and on other software platforms are just called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a part separate from integrations. They might also be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways will also be the things they sound like: they are the integrations that enable your customers to pay for your stuff. Your shop will not really be a lot of store unless you are using a payment gateway.

A listing of the payment gateways you can include:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Managing all these integrations is pretty easy–so long as you are all set up with whatever tool you are trying to integrate with, you should not have any problems adding it into ClickFunnels. In my experience, these integrations operate smoothly and you don’t have to fret much.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ most important market is its simplicity of use–because their ad says,”Do not waste any more time with’tech men! ”’ As I’ve said in this ClickFunnels review, the main service ClickFunnels provides is providing tools that enable the less experienced save time and money. That being the case, evaluating ease of use is pretty significant.

Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you should still have some experience.

Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it might be a bit overwhelming–and from first-timer, I mean new to the area of e-commerce and marketing–but the learning curve is far from impossible. For most people, I’d say that the learning curve could be just a couple hours max. If you behind, pick up Russell Brunson’s books mentioned previously in the review.

Anyway, ClickFunnels is certainly easier than creating funnels on your own. They’ve a fair amount of documentation, and it might not be ideal, but it appears to me as if most questions must be covered, and you can always contact a customer service representative if it comes to it.

All that aside, some parts of ClickFunnels are pretty easy to get a hang of. The core characteristics of ClickFunnels–the real funnels–are fairly simple to control. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate to all sections of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates into the drag and drop editor. Some settings regarding email integrations or charge processors will require a little bit of comprehension, but it’s nowhere close to the quantity of knowledge you would have to really code the funnels–it is stuff you can determine by Googling around or seeing the docs centre.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly simple, but it is overall streamlined with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things frequently, but it likely will not be sufficient to hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 in simplicity of use. It combines choice and customizability with ease, and while I would suggest all potential users enter with a few basic technological literacy, it basically succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who is ClickFunnels for?

Who really stands to benefit the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small businesses and startups (talking from experience here) will find the maximum use out of it. There are variations in funnel kinds that appeal to a companies.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, people exclusively in e-commerce or community advertising, and even those that offer B2B services will most likely be most fit for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels generally does ventures or innovative products. The pre-made funnels are highly oriented towards these businesses: for instance, if you’re a gentleman, you might find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a good way of marketing for you. If you’re attempting to center everything on your own and your brand, there could be support too. The same holds for people selling content like publications or classes.

Obviously, you can always start from a blank funnel, and I don’t believe you need to decide if ClickFunnels is right for you or not based purely in their default funnel kinds. If you are a smaller company, alright with the price , and you need to make your traffic work for you better, I doubt you would be wasting your money or time with ClickFunnels. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to keep a much better landing page.

Customer Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having adequate documentation on-site. I believe their documentation is sufficient, although barely industry-standard for SaaS companies. Their page has a series of categories, each with their own articles. It might be easy, however content-wise it isn’t too shabby. Clickfunnels Webinar Chat Generator

As for the immediate customer assistance, they’ve a feature inside the dashboard after you log into, but I’m not delighted by it. They’ve generally been useful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I’ve had more complex questions, I’ve found them fairly unhelpful. With one special HTML publishing question, they required three months to return to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users won’t need that kind of support and to be honest, most SaaS businesses don’t provide that degree of support. So I provide ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. Notably, in cases when features have not worked when there were site malfunctions or as promised, client support representatives were allegedly unhelpful or unresponsive. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, because of site error, some of his customers were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained access to members-only articles. After he contacted customer support, he found that they were apathetic and unhelpful. It illustrates the point, although it may be a scenario.

Overall Support Rating

I wouldn’t state ClickFunnels fails in client support–I feel that the team understand that their services are not easy to use and/or involve tools fresh to their customers, and they have put resources in their support to make it adequate. At least basic questions will be answered, and they’re pretty responsive. Maybe most users, myself included, would not state ClickFunnels has exceptional customer support, but it meets a bare minimum which makes it. Within this class, we give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

What’s the verdict? It is fine –4 out of 5 stars! It’s a legitimate competitor in the marketing software space and worth trying out.

Yeah, a couple drawbacks are: you might want to check into third party options you can connect Should you need a more answer to your marketing needs with greater customization abilities. If you are going with ClickFunnels after all, you may find yourself unfortunate and end up dealing with unhelpful customer service agents, or any glitches in the program. You might also be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering everything, I don’t think any of them outweigh the good landing page builder, let alone additional positives such as strong integrations, the learning curve, and templates.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its core objective–to make it easier for you to funnel traffic and reach conversion rates. Even negative ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be pretty helpful for significantly less entrepreneurs. I’m pretty sure that for the vast majority of users, the page builder offers enough choice. If you’re looking first and foremost to get an sales solution or landing page editor, ClickFunnels is a superb tool. On promises, it hasn’t attained its popularity In the end, and that I am giving 4/5 celebrities to it.
