Clickfunnels University

If you’re in touch with the world of electronic advertising, you’ve probably at least heard of ClickFunnels. In this ClickFunnels Review, we go deep into the good and poor to establish if ClickFunnels is a business marketing software worth trying, or just overhyped. Clickfunnels University

ClickFunnels has made a pretty major name for itself because it started, getting one of the most significant advertising SaaS (Software as a Service) companies round. I suppose it’s no surprise–ClickFunnels is all about making its users cash. Importantly, it’s about giving software that helps them turn their own site visitors into customers to companies. It is no wonder ClickFunnels has grown so much in such a brief period of time.

Does that mean it is well worth it, although there is not any denying it is popular? Just how much can we trust the audience with this one? During this ClickFunnels review, I’ll go through the gist of ClickFunnels–what it really is, the positives and the negatives, the characteristics, customer assistance, and so on. I’m basing this review on my experience with ClickFunnels’ StartUp plan, which comes with the heart ClickFunnels attributes and plenty of whistles and bells. I will also provide a nod towards other reviews I’ve noticed, as not every user and I will agree about the final conclusion.

Irrespective of whether you decide to use it or not, it is an important player anybody in e-commerce and online marketing should be familiar with. Before you jump in, what is our evaluation? I’ll place it. With some drawbacks, it’s definitely good. Keep reading to learn why!

What’s ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels started back in 2014, but in just three years it’s been, in the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet advertising industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for companies and entrepreneurs to market stuff online using differently complicated advertising technologies, known as sales funnels (more on those in a moment ).

The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned and for good reason. He’s made a fortune, but not only from ClickFunnels, but other advertising adventures. He played with email marketing for a while, and began to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is Expert Secrets, two novels and the bestselling author of DotCom Secrets his lovers rave about and that direct people. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his website here. Get Expert Secrets free on his website Clickfunnels University

ClickFunnels started out as a means to assist Brunson and his team create funnels more quickly for different ventures, as creating funnels would usually take weeks. But they soon realized their production would be helpful to other people and had good potential as a commodity.

What Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Function

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let us clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it is a procedure that takes people who do not understand you and turns them to clients, aka a marketing funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of steps developed to guide a website visitor into the checkout page.

There’s a dull way of thinking about it. Step 1: Imagine that a funnel. Measure 2: Imagine this funnel is actually a metaphor, and rather than actual ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients you telephone internet traffic or site visitors. Your website visitors are looking around, checking out things. Your site is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, that still doesn’t turn a lot of your visitors . In a physical shop, that’s like people walking into your store but not understanding where the cash register is, so they leave the store without purchasing anything. You can speak your customers into purchasing something. In a shop, you may be a bit more distant from your customers. That is where your funnel comes in–it’s designed to appeal to your clients’ . The funnel works step-by-step, bring traffic in closer and closer until visitors wind up at a payment page.

If you feel this sounds cool, you are right–it has become a huge deal for marketing. Russell Brunson did become rich by selling ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some good information: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is intended to save time and energyto do what requires a lot of competence and/or an array of third party applications. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Money

One of the greatest things about ClickFunnels is the focus on making money for the user. They make it easy to make your account, put up your content, and start taking payments. Additionally, it’s pretty easy to pick up everything –it’ll probably take you a few hours to figure out most of what you need, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

A few features are extremely useful here. I like how simple it is to duplicate pages, and the fact I can save templates to be used again later. Their page builder is a feature that is pretty important, and they have pulled it off well. As soon as you get used to it, it is an easy to use drag and drop builder.

A/B analyzing

Built in A/B testing is great too. All you have to do is replicate a page, make your adjustments, and choose the amounts of the visitors that you wish to see version A or B.

Great selection of Integrations

I believe ClickFunnels manages API integrations . Email autoresponders and payment processors aren’t too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are simple to control.

WordPress Plugin

You will also find a WordPress plugin which allows you add ClickFunnels pages. It saves a lot of time and is a lot less of a hassle compared to working between ClickFunnels and WordPress with no plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a solid 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin , with over 20,000 active setups.

All in one

In general, it’s great to have things so concentrated: I can build my landing pages, create forms and order forms, and trigger emails all from 1 platform.

All this really does save you time and money, resources you would otherwise need to spend on developers, CSShosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Worth

You may rest assured that the lower-tiered account is a great investment–what you’re allowed for a StartUp accounts is really decent. In case you have over 20,000 visitors and want over 100 pages, then the complete suite may not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels University

ClickFunnels is not perfect, but it does a fantastic job of packing good tools together and making them accessible. It arguably conserves most users a headache they would have when they tried to manage funnels another manner.

Disadvantages: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall strong, it’s quite a few areas that require work.

A little drawback is the price. There are only two pricing options, at $97 a month or $297 per month. From the grand scheme of things, this is not another investment in your organization, a huge drawback, and like I have mentioned, you receive a good package for it.

Lackluster Customer Support

Beyond that, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they’ve been fine with basic queries, but if you ask them harder things, especially about more innovative features, they won’t be quite helpful.

Cult-like user base and applications also reliant on Founder

This isn’t an objective criticism of the product but that I take a slight problem with their marketing that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it is hard to escape the hype. They’ve a marketing. But from a user experience perspective, it can get obtrusive. Once you register for the applications, you may attempt to examine the objective features of the software and incorporate it in your own workflow, or you’re going to be lost and made to learn Russell Brunson’s advertising methods.

This usually means you will end up buying online classes, books, attending seminars, and getting sucked into the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k associates and most articles is composed of people bragging about how much money they created and flashing their sports cars. Though these numbers are real, the consumers provide an impression that they’re more concentrated on making quick money instead of building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped people do great things, but it has also helped proliferate fast rich schemes, online courses, saturation of coaches and experts, and other spammy internet marketer stuff.

Much of the item is tied into his doctrine and his own brand, although we all know the founder is a marketing magician. As much as I value the landing page builder, everything about it seems to be an extension of Brunson’s platform.

At times it’s hard to not get the feeling which ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than mandatory, especially when a few elements of their merchandise (i.e., customer service) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one isn’t on ClickFunnels but more about the community. While you’ve got the capability to customize broadly within ClickFunnels, a lot of men and women use designs. Taking into consideration the prevalence of ClickFunnels, this has led to a great quantity of ClickFunnel-y looks. Diversity is vital.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels encounter some mistakes or will go down. Though this doesn’t occur frequently, there’s little you can do but wait. If you are investing a lot in advertising or driving visitors to your own funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch brings down your pages for even a few hours, then you can potentially lose a lot of cash.

In addition, it is hard to know when your pages are working or not, unless you always check or wait until you hear from angry customers. When I replicate webpages using the HTML publishing alternative barring uptime, I deal with a few glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes often, the stream of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will proceed, pricing choices alter, etc–and it seems ClickFunnels is still figuring out things.

I enjoy consistency in my applications if it’s a business alternative.

Too Straightforward

Finally, a criticism I have heard but don’t quite agree with personally: it is too simple, and too expensive for its simplicity. All these criticisms tend to refer to do-it-yourself approaches that may be more economical upfront and give more control over handling specific details. But for less experienced users that are mainly seeking efficiency and an easy to use bundle of tools, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing plans–StartUp and Etison Suite, alternatively called ClickFunnels and Full Suite–and even StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month plus Etison comes at $297 a month. For what it’s worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to try out the service, in order you do not need to commit to an expensive plan right away. If you pay annually instead of monthly, you receive two weeks free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Total Package ).

Nonetheless, a bit huh? Well, some might say so, and I can see why–particularly in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a similar (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service which begins at $25 a month. But it’s important to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ main service is to make funnels more efficient, and it does a fairly good job. Personally, I consider it a good investment.

The principal differences between an entry level consideration along with a premium account are as follows: StartUp gets the main service, the funnel-builder, with a few limitations on the number of pages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only some of the complete list of features.

However, both plans have unlimited contacts, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B split tests, and some other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite includes a complete list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this is a Backpack quality which allows you describe a product as a one time payment merchandise for your payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time obligations, this lets your clients pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); unlimited funnels, pages, visits, and spiritual domains; priority support and template requests; as well as Actionetics along with Backpack.

If you are confused with Etison/ Full Suite, don’t worry, it is perplexing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail in the section of this ClickFunnels review.

To outline the gaps, StartUp basically conveys the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which can be called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Full Suite, on the other hand, packs the foundation tool ClickFunnels with two other services–Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the complete set of ClickFunnels features. You are able to watch the complete official list here.

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

Are ClickFunnels’ features complete? I think they’re solid and you get everything you need. They’re largely intuitive and give you a fantastic amount of control. The template editor and integration management system are all great examples of this and are very important functions, so I’ll be giving them separate segments. Clickfunnels University

A/B split testing is a smaller feature, but definitely a one.

If you duplicate a page and also make changes to the backup, the divide test essentially enables you to choose what percentages of your visitors that you want to see per page, allowing you examine conversion rates very conveniently. It’s simple to use and a great function.

I also think ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for different settings, like your account information or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them prohibitive (a common theme among some criticisms), but as the service is supposed to be simple to work with, I thought the basic features were fairly great.

There are quite a few kinds of available pre-made funnels, oriented into different types of companies, and also you can obviously build your personal funnel from scratch also.

Actionetics and Backpack

I take a minute in this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. Total Suite is just three products being packed together as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What’s Actionetics? Well, it’s exactly what many would call an email auto-responder or just an auto-responder, but it’s a little more complicated. The chief objective of Actionetics is smart analytics that result in smart auto-responding, but the auto-responding involves snail mail as well as email, and some other goodies. Along with Actionetics comes Backpack (previously Backpack CRM), a tool designed to create managing an affiliate system easier and more effective.

But are such features, or products that are different? Actionetics seems somewhat like ClickFunnels trying to sell a iffy email auto-responder for me personally, but perhaps I am just cynical. Whatever the case, it makes Full Suite a little confusing and removes the coherency you get together with the original ClickFunnels.

Here is the full list of StartUp attributes
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 traffic
  • boundless contacts
  • 3 habit domains
  • A/B split evaluations
  • Mail integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All advanced funnels
  • Revenue funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Endless members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Order pages
  • Upsell webpages
  • Downsale pages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 billing integration per form

You may watch the full list of features, along with Full Package features, here. If you’re in a position where you can afford to try Etison for a little and you absolutely need an efficient, simple method of increasing sales, I don’t believe you would wind up shorted. By that same token, I really don’t think Actionetics and Backpack provide such a huge benefit that you can not do without them: for many users, just StartUp will provide a comprehensive enough bundle.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is ClickFunnels’ attribute, so I wanted to devote attention. In fact, I think a large portion of why I gave ClickFunnels a top score has to do with it being a very good landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page building applications and advertises its own funnel approach, but truth be told, I use it largely for this particular landing page builder.

Anyhow, there is quite an array of templates with good layouts, though as you may expect, only the templates created by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are organized by funnel type, so poking around is not too hard.

You might even save certain templates and create own page templates, and it is pretty easy to see them. As you can see, you can toggle with settings that are fundamental and open from the editor.

You be working with a drop and drag builder When your pages start from the editor. It’s a bit more complicated than some other light page builders, but it’s still easy to use.

The editor utilizes a page structure with four main components: sections, columns, rows, and elements. Think of these components as fitting inside each other (this article includes a helpful diagram). Basically: rows, columns, and elements go inside of segments. You can have multiple segments per page. Rows and columns go indoors sections, but columns especially enter rows. This way you may have around four, or a row with a single column. Elements are the dynamic bits that go columns and make your page interactive.

It might sound complex, but it’s pretty easy to get the hang . What’s color-coded–for instance, from the above screenshot, the selection is a mild green box since it’s a section, but when I had been hovering over a component, it would be orange.

You could edit section, row, column, etc, through the side bar. All of the small details and parts of your webpage can be moved or altered. The editor allows for plenty of customization, but provides control . You can do all sorts of things–cellular previews, edit colors, text, settings, and just about anything you expect. If you are handy with code, then you can also add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A small criticism I have heard (but don’t have ) about the builder is how grid-like it is–you have to work within those columns and rows. Personally, I do not believe this is a huge issue and the builder gives you sufficient hands without sacrificing ease of usage, but it might be worth a mention.
Overall, I enjoy the webpage builder a lot. It makes designing your landing page quite easy, and it serves ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to make money online.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like: other marketing tools you integrate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few distinct kinds of integrations you are able to enhance your ClickFunnels account: email, webinar, SMS/text, and activities. By way of example, you might add MailChimp for your ClickFunnels because you like MailChimp’s auto-responding software and you are registered with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has a few noteworthy partners you can add to your integrations easily. Here’s a full list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Continuous Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to your integrations section, you can search for these or just click on the search bar, and they will come up. It’s pretty self-explanatory, simply click on the one. Clickfunnels University

The procedure for handling integrations is also simple, though you may need to check your third party program’s documentation to discover exactly what ClickFunnels needs. You’ll discover the procedure straightforward. Integrations are a bit more technical conceptually than some features, such as the page builder, so it is much appreciated to have an extremely simple method of incorporating and handling integrations.

Related to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways get incorporated and on other software platforms are just called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they get a part separate from integrations. They may also be known to ClickFunnels as charging integrations. Payment gateways will also be what they sound like: they are the integrations that allow your customers to pay for your stuff. Your store won’t really be much of a shop unless you’re using a payment gateway.

A list of the payment gateways you can include:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Managing all these integrations is fairly easy–so long as you are all set up with whatever tool you’re attempting to incorporate with, you shouldn’t have any problems adding it to ClickFunnels. In my experience, these integrations run and you do not need to fret much about them.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by now, ClickFunnels’ most important market is its simplicity of use–because their ad says,”Don’t waste any more time with’tech guys! ”’ As I’ve said in this ClickFunnels review, the most important service ClickFunnels provides is providing tools which enable the less experienced save money and time. That being the situation, evaluating ease of usage is pretty significant.

Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you need to still have some experience.

Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it might be a bit overwhelming–and by first-timer, I mean new to the area of e-commerce and marketing–but the learning curve is far from impossible. For most people, I’d say the learning curve would be only a couple hours max. If you behind, pick up Russell Brunson’s books mentioned previously in the review.

Anyway, ClickFunnels is unquestionably simpler than creating funnels all on your own. They’ve a fair amount of documentation, and it might not be ideal, but it appears to me as if most queries should be covered, and you can always contact a customer service representative if it comes to it.

All that aside, some parts of ClickFunnels are pretty easy to get a hang . The core features of ClickFunnels–the actual funnels–are fairly simple to manage. A cohesive menu makes it easy to navigate to all sections of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates to the drag and drop editor. Some settings regarding email integrations or payment processors will require a little bit of comprehension, but it’s nowhere close to the quantity of knowledge you would have to really code the funnels–it is things you’ll be able to determine by Googling around or visiting the docs center.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly straightforward, but it’s overall compact with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change matters frequently, but it probably will not be sufficient to hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 in ease of use. It unites choice and customizability with ease, and while I would suggest all potential users input with a few simple technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who is ClickFunnels for?

Who really stands to reap the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small companies and startups (speaking from experience here) will get the most use from it. There are naturally variations in funnel kinds that appeal to a companies.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, individuals exclusively in e-commerce or network advertising, and even those offering B2B services would probably be most fit for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels in general does well with people offering more creative products or ventures. The pre-made funnels are highly oriented towards those industries: for instance, if you are a gentleman, you may find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a good method of marketing for you. If you’re attempting to center everything around yourself and your brand, there would be support too. The same goes for people selling content like courses or publications.

Of course, you could always start from a blank funnel, and I don’t believe you need to decide if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based only in their default funnel kinds. If you are a smaller company, alright with the price tag, and you have to make your traffic work for you , I doubt you would be wasting your time or money using ClickFunnels. I would especially recommend it to anyone who wants to maintain a better landing page.

Customer Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having decent documentation on-site. I believe their documentation is still adequate, although barely industry-standard for SaaS companies. Their page has a series of classes. Content-wise it’s not too shabby, although it may be easy. Clickfunnels University

As once you log into for the customer service, they have a feature within the dashboard, but I am not delighted with it. They’ve been useful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but when I’ve had more advanced questions, I have found them pretty unhelpful. With one specific HTML publishing question, they took three months to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Users won’t need that sort of support and to be honest, most SaaS businesses don’t offer that degree of support. So I give ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

Additionally, I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences with customer support. Notably, in cases when features haven’t worked as promised or if there were bizarre site malfunctions, customer service reps were supposedly either unhelpful or unresponsive. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, due to site error, a number of his clients were locked out and the way other non-paying visitors gained access to members-only articles. After he contacted customer support, he discovered that they were apathetic and unhelpful. It illustrates the point, although it might be a bizarre, unlikely situation.

Overall Support Rating

I would not say ClickFunnels fails in client support–I feel that the team understand that their solutions are not easy to use and/or demand tools new to their customers, and they have put resources in their support to make it decent. At least queries will be answered, and they are pretty responsive. Perhaps users wouldn’t say ClickFunnels has exceptional customer support, but it mostly meets. In this class, we give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

So, what’s the verdict that is overarching? It’s good! It is a legitimate competitor in the marketing program space and worth trying out.

Yeah, a few drawbacks are: Should you want a more solution to your advertising needs with customization skills, you may want to look into third party choices you can connect together. If you’re going with ClickFunnels after all, you may find yourself and end up dealing with unhelpful customer service agents, or any glitches in the program. You might be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering all, I do not think any of these outweigh the good landing page builder, let alone other positives such as templates, integrations that are strong, and the short learning curve.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its center goal –to make it easier for you to funnel traffic and reach conversion prices. Even negative ClickFunnels reviews acknowledge it can be pretty useful for less entrepreneurs that are internet-exposed. I’m pretty certain that for the huge majority of users, the page builder offers option. If you’re looking first and foremost to get an sales alternative or landing page editor, ClickFunnels is a superb tool. On empty promises, it has not reached its popularity In the end, and that I am giving 4/5 stars to it.
