ClickFunnels started back in 2014, but in only 3 years it has been, in the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the online advertising industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it much easier for companies and entrepreneurs to sell stuff online using otherwise complex marketing technology, known as sales funnels (more on those in a second).
The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned as his invention, and for good reason. He has made a fortune, but not only from ClickFunnels, but other advertising experiences. He played with email marketing for a while, and began to master sales funnels.
Russell Brunson is the author of DotCom Secrets and Secrets, two books his fans rave about and that guide people. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his website here. Get Expert Secrets free on his website . Clickfunnels Refund Policy
ClickFunnels started out as a means to help Brunson and his staff produce funnels more rapidly for different ventures, as creating funnels would normally take months. However, they soon realized their creation would be useful to other people and had great potential as a commodity.
What Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Function
Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let us explain what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it is a process that takes individuals who don’t know you and turns them into clients, aka a advertising funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of measures developed to guide a website visitor into the checkout page.
There is a less dull way of considering it. Measure 1: Imagine that a funnel. Measure 2: Envision this funnel is actually a metaphor, and rather than actual ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients that you call web traffic or website traffic. Your site visitors are looking around, checking out things. Your website is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!
Unfortunately, that doesn’t turn many of your visitors into customers. In a brick and mortar store, that’s like people walking into your shop but not understanding where the cash register is, so they leave the store without purchasing anything. You can speak your customers into purchasing something. In a store, you could be a bit more distant from the customers. That is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to attract your customers’ . The funnel works incremental, draw visitors in closer and closer until visitors end up in a payment page.
If you think that sounds cool, you’re right–it has become a huge deal for advertising. Russell Brunson did get rich by selling ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it.
Pros: ClickFunnels Review
I’ve got some good news: ClickFunnels does its job!
ClickFunnels is intended to save you time and energy–to do exactly what requires a whole lot of technological competence and/or a range of third party applications. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.
Makes You Cash
Among the greatest things about ClickFunnels is its focus on earning money for the consumer. They make it put your content up, quite easy to produce your account, and start taking payments. Additionally, it is pretty simple to pick up everything –it will probably take you a couple hours to find out most of what you require, maximum.
Drag and Drop Builder
Quite a few features are very useful here. I like how simple it is to duplicate pages, and the fact I will save templates for use again later. Their webpage builder is a pretty important feature, and they’ve pulled it. As soon as you become used to it, it’s an builder.
Constructed in A/B testing is excellent too. All you need to do is replicate a page, make your changes, and pick the numbers of your visitors that you wish to view variant A or B.
Great selection of Integrations
I think ClickFunnels handles API integrations pretty well. Email autoresponders and payment chips are not too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are easy to manage.
You will also find a handy WordPress plugin which lets you insert ClickFunnels pages. It saves a good deal of time and is much less of a hassle than working between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a solid 4.4 stars in the WordPress plugin repository, with over 20,000 active setups.
All in 1
Overall, it is good to have things so centralized: I can build my landing pages, produce forms and purchase forms, and trigger emails all from one platform.
All of this really will save you time and money, resources you would otherwise have to invest on developers, CSShosting configurations, and so on.
You may rest assured the lower-tiered account is a great investment–what you are allowed for a StartUp accounts is pretty decent. If you have over 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, then the complete package might not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Refund Policy
ClickFunnels isn’t ideal, but it does a great job of packing good tools together and making them more accessible. It arguably conserves most users a headache they would have when they tried to manage funnels another manner.
Cons: Clickfunnels Review
I’ve got some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall strong, it has quite a few places that need work.
A drawback is the cost. There are two pricing alternatives, at $97 per month or $297 per month. From the grand scheme of things, this isn’t like I have mentioned another investment in your business, and a huge drawback, you get a package for it.
Lackluster Customer Support
Beyond that, client support is iffy at best. In my experience, they have been fine with fundamental queries, but if you ask them more difficult things, particularly about more innovative features, they will not be quite helpful.
Cult-like user base and applications too reliant on Founder
This is not an objective criticism of the merchandise but that I take a small problem with their advertising that I believe is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.
If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it is difficult to escape the hype surrounding it. They have a marketing. But from a user experience perspective, it can get obtrusive. When you sign up for the software, you may attempt to look at the objective features of this software and integrate it in your own workflow, or you’ll be lost and made to find out Russell Brunson’s advertising methods.
This means you’ll find yourself purchasing online classes, publications, attending conventions, and getting sucked to the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over members and articles consists of people flashing their sports cars and bragging about how much money they made. Although these numbers are real, the users provide an impression that they are more concentrated on earning quick cash instead of building great products and services. ClickFunnels has helped folks do good things, but it has also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, online courses, saturation of coaches and specialists, along with other spammy internet marketer stuff.
A lot of this item is tied into his own brand and his doctrine, although Most of us know the creator is a marketing wizard. As much as I value the landing page builder, everything around it looks to be an expansion of Brunson’s platform.
At times it’s hard not to get the sensation that ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than necessary, particularly when a few aspects of their merchandise (i.e., customer service) can still use some work.
This one is not on ClickFunnels but more about the community. As you have the ability to customize extensively within ClickFunnels, a lot of men and women use similar layouts. Considering the prevalence of ClickFunnels, this has led to a large quantity of ClickFunnel-y seems floating about. Diversity is important.
Software Outages and Bugs
Every now and then, ClickFunnels experience some mistakes or will return. Though this doesn’t occur frequently, there’s little you can do but wait. If you’re investing a lot in advertising or driving visitors to your funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch attracts down your pages for even a few hours, you can potentially lose a lot of cash.
In addition, it is hard to know when your pages are functioning or not, unless you always check or wait till you hear from angry customers. Barring bandwidth, I deal with a few glitches when I replicate webpages using the HTML publishing option.
Users Experience Differs… a lot
The dashboard changes often, the flow of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will move around, pricing choices alter, etcand it seems ClickFunnels is still figuring things out.
I like consistency in my applications if it is a business solution.
At length, a criticism I have heard but don’t quite agree with : it is too easy, and too expensive for its simplicity. These criticisms tend to refer to do-it-yourself approaches that may be more economical upfront and give more control over handling certain details. But for less experienced users that are mainly seeking efficiency and an simple to use bundle of tools, I would not emphasize this too strongly.
ClickFunnels includes two pricing plans–StartUp and Etison Suite, rather known as ClickFunnels and Full Suite–and even StartUp begins on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 per month plus Etison comes at $297 per month. For what it’s worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to try the service, so at least you don’t need to commit to an expensive plan right away. If you pay annually instead of monthly, you get two weeks free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Full Suite).
Nonetheless, a little huh? Well, some would say , and that I could see why–particularly if you compare to LeadPages, a similar (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 per month. But it is necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to make funnels more efficient, and it does a pretty good job. Personally, I consider it a fantastic investment.
The main differences between an entry level consideration along with a premium account are as follows: StartUp gets the main service, the funnel-builder, with some limitations on the amount of pages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and just some of the full list of features.
But, both plans have unlimited connections, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B split evaluations, and some other commonalities.
Etison/Full Suite includes a complete list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack quality that allows you describe a product as a one-time payment product for your payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time obligations, this allows your customers cover a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); unlimited funnels, pages, visits, along with spiritual domain names; priority support and template requests; also as Actionetics and Backpack.
If you’re confused with Etison/ Full Suite, do not worry, it is perplexing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could really clean up. We’ll go into more detail at the section of the ClickFunnels review.
To summarize the gaps, StartUp essentially carries the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which can be called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Total Package, on the other hand, packs the foundation tool ClickFunnels with two additional providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the complete set of ClickFunnels features. You can view the full official record here.
Features Overview: Clickfunnels Review
Are ClickFunnels’ attributes complete? I believe they’re strong and you get whatever you want. They’re largely intuitive and supply you with a fantastic amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are great examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them different sections. Clickfunnels Refund Policy
A/B split testing is a feature, but definitely a one.
If you duplicate a page and make changes to the backup, the divide test basically lets you select what percentages of the visitors that you want to see per page, allowing you test conversion rates very handily. It’s a great function and simple to use.
In addition, I believe ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for different settings, such as your account details or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them prohibitive (a frequent theme among a few criticisms), but as the service is supposed to be simple to work with, I believed the fundamental features were fairly great.
There are a number of kinds of available pre-made funnels, oriented into different kinds of businesses, and also you can obviously build your personal funnel from scratch too.
Actionetics and Backpack
I have a minute in this Clickfunnels Review to discuss Full Suite. Full Suite is three products being packaged as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.
What’s Actionetics? Well, it’s what many would call an email auto-responder or just an auto-responder, but it is a bit more complicated. The chief goal of Actionetics is smart analytics that lead to clever auto-responding, but the auto-responding involves snail mail in addition to email, and some other goodies. Along with Actionetics comes Backpack (previously Backpack CRM), an instrument designed to create managing an affiliate system easier and more effective.
However, are these attributes, or products that are different? Actionetics sounds somewhat like ClickFunnels trying to sell an iffy email auto-responder to me personally, but maybe I am just cynical. Whatever the case, it makes Full Suite a little perplexing and eliminates the coherency you get with the first ClickFunnels.
Here is the full list of all StartUp features
- 20 funnels
- 100 pages
- 20,000 visitors
- boundless contacts
- 3 custom domains
- A/B split tests
- Email integrations

- Revenue funnels
- Membership funnels
- Unlimited members

You may watch the full list of features, along with Full Suite features, here. If you are in a situation where you can manage to try out Etison for a bit and you absolutely need an efficient, easy method of increasing earnings, I do not think you would find yourself shorted. By that exact same token, I really don’t think Actionetics and Backpack offer such a huge benefit that you can not do without themfor most users, just StartUp will offer a comprehensive adequate package.
Clickfunnels Review: Page Builder
This is probably ClickFunnels’ feature, so I wanted to devote exclusive attention. In fact, I feel a huge part of why I gave ClickFunnels a top score has to do with it turned into a very solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction software and advertises its own funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it mostly for this landing page builder.
Anyhow, there is rather an array of templates with great layouts, though as you may expect, just the templates made by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are coordinated by funnel kind, so poking around is not too hard.
You might also save certain templates and also create own page templates, and it’s rather simple to find them. As you can see, it is possible to toggle with settings and open from the editor.
You’ll basically be working using a drag and drop builder When your pages open in the editor. It is a bit more complex than some other mild page builders, but it’s still easy to use.
The editor uses a page structure with four main components: sections, rows, columns, and elements. Consider these parts as fitting inside each other (this informative article includes a helpful diagram). Basically: columns, rows, and components go inside of sections. You can have multiple sections per page. Rows and columns move indoors sections, but columns especially go into rows. This way you may have a row with one column, or up to four. Elements are the dynamic bits that make your page interactive to its customers and go inside columns.
It might sound complex, but it’s rather easy to get the hang . Everything is color-coded–for example, in the above screenshot, the choice is a mild green box since it is a part, but if I was hovering over an element, it would be orange.
A little criticism I have heard (but don’t have ) on the builder is the way grid-like it is–you need to work within those columns and rows. Personally, I don’t think this is a massive problem and the builder gives you sufficient control without sacrificing ease of usage, but it might be worth a mention.
I enjoy the page builder a lot. It makes designing your landing page very easy, and it functions ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to earn money online.
Integrations: ClickFunnels Review
Integrations are exactly what they sound like advertising and marketing tools you integrate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few distinct kinds of integrations you can enhance your ClickFunnels account: email, webinar, SMS/text, and actions. For instance, you might add MailChimp to your ClickFunnels because you enjoy MailChimp’s auto-responding software and you’re enrolled with them. Easy!
ClickFunnels has a few partners you can add to your integrations easily. Here’s a list:
- Active Campaign
- Constant Contact
- GVO PureLeverage
- HTML Form
- Mad Mimi
- Webinar Jam Studio
If you go to your integrations section, you can search for these or just click the search bar, and they’ll come up. It, simply click on the one. Clickfunnels Refund Policy
The procedure for handling integrations is also straightforward, though you might have to look at your third party program’s documentation to find precisely what ClickFunnels needs. In general, you’ll find the procedure pretty straightforward. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few attributes, such as the page builder, so it is much appreciated to have a very straightforward method of adding and managing integrations.
Related to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become incorporated and on other applications platforms are only called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a section different from integrations. They may be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways are also the things they sound like: they’re the integrations that enable your customers to pay for your stuff. Your shop won’t really be much of a store unless you’re using a payment gateway.
A list of the payment gateways you can include:
- Blue Snap
- Easy Pay Direct
Handling each of these integrations is pretty simple –as long as you are all set up with whatever tool you are attempting to integrate with, you should not have any problems adding it to ClickFunnels. In my experience, these integrations operate smoothly and you don’t need to fret much about them.
Ease of Use: ClickFunnels Review
If you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ most important sell is its simplicity of usage –as their advertisement says,”Do not waste any more time with’technology men! ”’ As I’ve stated in this ClickFunnels review, the main ceremony ClickFunnels provides is providing tools which enable the less experienced to save money and time. That being the case, evaluating ease of use is really significant.
Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you need to still have some experience.
Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it might be a bit overwhelming–and by first-timer, I mean new to the world of e-commerce and promotion –but the learning curve is far from hopeless. For most people, I would say the learning curve would be only a few hours maximum. Pick up the books mentioned in the critique of Russell Brunson if you are really behind.
Anyhow, ClickFunnels is unquestionably easier than creating funnels all on your own. They have a fair amount of documentation, and it may not be perfect, but it seems to me like most queries must be covered, and you could always contact a customer support representative if it has to do with it.
All of that aside, some pieces of ClickFunnels are rather easy to get a hang . The core features of ClickFunnels–the actual funnels–are fairly simple to manage. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate to all sections of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates to the drag and drop editor. Some configurations regarding email integrations or payment processors will require a little bit of comprehension, but it’s nowhere close to the quantity of knowledge you would need to really code the funnels–it is things you can figure out by Googling about or visiting the docs centre.
Ultimately, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly simple, but it’s overall compact with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things frequently, but it likely won’t be sufficient to significantly hamper you.
We give it a 4 out of 5 at ease of use. It combines alternative and customizability with ease, and while I would suggest all potential users enter with some simple technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is worried.
Who is ClickFunnels for?
Who stands to benefit the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small companies and startups (talking from experience ) will get the most use from it. There are naturally variations in funnel types that appeal to a companies.
Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, people exclusively in e-commerce or network advertising, and even those that offer B2B services will most likely be most fit for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels in general does individual ventures or creative products. The pre-made funnels are oriented towards these businesses: for example, if you are a florist, you might find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel for a fantastic method of marketing for you. If you are trying to center everything there would be good support too. The same holds for people selling content like books or classes.
Obviously, you could always start from a sterile funnel, and I don’t think you need to determine if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based only in their default funnel types. If you are a smaller company, okay with the price , and you need to make your traffic work for you , I doubt you’d be wasting your money or time using ClickFunnels. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to maintain a better landing page.
Client Support: ClickFunnels Review
ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having decent documentation on-site. I believe their documentation is still adequate, although just for SaaS companies. Their docs page has a series of classes, each with their own posts. Content-wise it’s not too shabby, although it might be simple. Clickfunnels Refund Policy
As for the customer service, they have a feature inside the dashboard after you log into, but I am not pleased with it. They’ve generally been helpful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but when I have had more complex questions, I have found them fairly unhelpful. With one specific HTML publishing question, they took three months to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users won’t need that sort of support and to be honest, most SaaS companies don’t provide that degree of support. So I provide ClickFunnels kudos for trying.
Additionally, I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. Notably, in instances when attributes have not worked when there were site malfunctions or as promised, client support reps were allegedly unhelpful or unresponsive. One notorious reviewer particularly recounts how, due to site error, some of his clients were locked out and the way other non-paying visitors gained entry to members-only articles. He discovered that they were unhelpful and apathetic After he contacted customer support. It illustrates the point, although it might be a scenario that is improbable.
Total Support Rating
I would not state ClickFunnels fails in client support–I feel that the team largely understand that their services are not simple to use and/or involve tools fresh for their users, and they’ve put resources in their support to make it decent. At least fundamental queries will be answered, and they are fairly responsive. Maybe most consumers, myself included, would not say ClickFunnels has outstanding customer support, but it mostly meets. We give it a 3 out of 5 stars.
Conclusion: ClickFunnels Review
What’s the verdict? It’s fine! It’s a legitimate competitor in the advertising program space and worth trying out.
Yeah, a couple drawbacks are: you might want to check into third party options you’ll be able to tie Should you want a more answer to your marketing needs with greater customization skills. If you are going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself unfortunate and end up dealing with customer service representatives, or some glitches in the program. You might be annoyed by their self-promotion.
But you know what? Considering all, I don’t think any of these outweigh the solid landing page builder, let alone other advantages like the learning curveintegrations, and good templates.
All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its center objective–to make it simpler for you to funnel visitors and reach conversion prices. Even unwanted ClickFunnels reviews acknowledge it can be pretty helpful for entrepreneurs that are internet-exposed that are less. I am pretty sure that for the majority of potential users, the webpage builder provides option. If you’re looking first and foremost for an sales solution or landing page editor, then ClickFunnels is a great tool. It has not attained its popularity on empty promises, and that is why I’m giving it 4/5 celebrities.
