ClickFunnels has made a pretty major name for itself since it began, getting one of the most significant marketing SaaS (Software as a Service) companies round. I guess it is no surprise–ClickFunnels is about earning its users money. Specifically, it’s about giving businesses software that helps their own site visitors turn into customers. It’s no wonder ClickFunnels has increased in such a brief period of time.

In this ClickFunnels review, I will go through the gist of ClickFunnels–exactly what it really is, the positives and the negatives, the characteristics, customer assistance, and so forth. What’s ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels started back in 2014, but in just 3 years it’s been, at the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet marketing industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: It makes it much easier for companies and entrepreneurs to sell things online using differently complicated marketing technology, called sales funnels (more on those in a moment ).

The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as famous and for good reason. He has made a fortune, not just from ClickFunnels, but marketing adventures. He played with email advertising for some time, and eventually started to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is Expert Secrets and the author of DotCom Secrets that his lovers rave that guide and about people. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his site here. Get Expert Secrets free on his website Clickfunnels Personal Jewelry

ClickFunnels started out as a way to help Brunson and his team create funnels more rapidly for distinct ventures, as creating funnels would normally take months. But they soon realized their creation would be helpful to other people and had great potential as a product.

Which Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s explain what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it’s a procedure that takes individuals who do not understand you and turns them to clients, aka a marketing funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of measures designed to direct a web site visitor into the checkout page.

There is a way of considering it. Step 1: Imagine that a funnel. Step 2: Envision this funnel is actually a metaphor, and rather than real ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients that you telephone internet traffic or website traffic. Your website visitors are looking around, checking out things. Your website is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, that still doesn’t turn many of your visitors into customers. In a physical shop, that is like people walking into your shop but not understanding where the cash register is, so they leave the store without buying anything. You can speak your customers into purchasing something. In a store, you may be a bit more remote from your customers. That is where your funnel comes in–it’s designed to attract your customers’ . The funnel works incremental, draw traffic in closer and closer until people wind up in a payment page.

You are correct, if you feel that sounds cool –it’s turned into a massive bargain for advertising. Russell Brunson did get wealthy by selling ClickFunnels technology, but by using it.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some great news: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is intended to save time and energy–to do exactly what otherwise requires a lot of proficiency and/or a range of third party software. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Cash

One of the best things about ClickFunnels is the focus on making your user money. They make it simple to produce your account, put your content up, and start taking payments. Additionally, it is rather simple to pick everything up–it will likely take you a few hours to figure out a lot of what you require, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

A few features are extremely useful here. I enjoy how easy it is to replicate pages, and also the fact I can save templates to be used again later. Their webpage builder is a attribute that is pretty important, and they have pulled it. It’s an easy to use drag and drop builder, once you get accustomed to it.

A/B testing

Built in A/B testing is excellent too. All you need to do is replicate a page, make your changes, and choose the amounts of the traffic that you want to see variant A or B.

Great selection of Integrations

I believe ClickFunnels manages API integrations pretty well. Email autoresponders and payment processors aren’t too much of a sweat–they work reliably and are easy to control.

WordPress Plugin

You will also find a WordPress plugin which lets you insert ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress site. It saves a lot of time and is a lot less of a hassle compared to working between ClickFunnels and WordPress with no plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a solid 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin repository, with over 20,000 active installations.

All in one

Overall, it is good to have things so centralized: I will construct my landing pages, produce forms and order forms, and trigger emails all from 1 platform.

All this really does save time and money, resources you’d otherwise need to invest on programmers, CSS, hosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Worth

You can rest assured the lower-tiered accounts is a great investment–what you are allowed for a StartUp accounts is pretty decent. In case you have more than 20,000 visitors and want over 100 pages, the full suite might not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Personal Jewelry

ClickFunnels isn’t perfect, but it does a fantastic job of packing good tools together and making them accessible. It arguably saves most users a headache they would have when they tried to handle funnels another manner.

Disadvantages: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: even though ClickFunnels is overall powerful, it has a number of places that require work.

Overpriced?

A drawback is the cost. There are just two alternatives, at $97 a month or $297 per month. In the grand scheme of things, this is not just another investment in your organization a huge drawback, and like I have mentioned, you get a good package for it.

Lackluster Customer Service

Beyond this, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they have been fine with fundamental questions, but if you ask them harder things, especially about more advanced features, they won’t be very helpful.

Cult-like user base and software also reliant on Founder

This isn’t an objective criticism of their merchandise but I take a slight problem with their marketing that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it’s difficult to escape the hype. They have a great marketing. But from a user experience standpoint, it can get obtrusive. When you register for the software, you can try to examine the purpose features of the software and integrate it into your own workflow, or you’re going to be lost and forced to learn Russell Brunson’s advertising methods.

This means you will end up purchasing online courses, publications, attending seminars, and getting sucked to the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over members and most articles consists of people bragging about how much money they made and flashing their sport cars. Although these numbers are real, the consumers provide an impression that they’re more focused on making quick money rather than building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped people do great things, but it’s also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, on line courses, saturation of coaches and specialists, along with other spammy internet marketer stuff.

We all know the founder is a marketing but so much of the product is tied into his brand and his doctrine. As much as I value the landing page builder, everything about it looks to be an extension of Brunson’s platform.

At times it’s hard not to get the sensation that ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than mandatory, especially when a few aspects of their product (i.e., client support ) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one is not on ClickFunnels however more about the community. As you’ve got the ability to personalize broadly within ClickFunnels, a lot of men and women use designs. Taking into consideration the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has led to a great amount of ClickFunnel-y looks floating around. Diversity is important.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels will return or experience some mistakes. Though this really doesn’t happen often, there’s little you can do but wait. If you are investing a great deal in advertising or driving traffic to your funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch attracts your pages down for even a few hours, then you may potentially lose a good deal of money.

It’s also difficult to know if your pages are working or not, if you don’t constantly check or wait till you hear from angry customers. When I clone pages using the HTML publishing alternative barring bandwidth, I deal with some glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes often, the flow of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will move around, pricing options alter, etcand it seems ClickFunnels is still figuring out things.

I like consistency in my applications, particularly if it is a business alternative.

Too Simple

Finally, a criticism I’ve heard but don’t quite agree with : it’s too simple, and too pricey because of its simplicity. All these criticisms have a tendency to refer to home improvement approaches that may be cheaper upfront and yield more control over managing specific details. But for less experienced users who are mainly seeking efficiency and an easy to use package of tools, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing programs –StartUp and Etison Suite, rather known as ClickFunnels and complete Suite–as well as StartUp begins on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 per month and Etison comes at $297 per month. For what it is worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to try out the support , so at least you don’t have to commit to an expensive program straight away. If you pay annually rather than monthly, you receive two weeks free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Full Package ).

Nonetheless, a little hefty huh? Well, some would say , and I can see why–particularly in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a comparable (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that starts at $25 a month. But it is necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to earn funnels more efficient, and it does a pretty great job. Personally, I consider it a good investment.

The principal differences between an entry level consideration and a premium account are as follows: StartUp gets the main service, the funnel-builder, with some constraints on the amount of webpages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only a number of the complete list of features.

But, both programs have unlimited connections, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B divide tests, and a few other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite has a full list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack quality that allows you characterize a product as a one-time payment product for your payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time payments, this allows your clients pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); boundless funnels, pages, visits, along with custom domains; priority support and template requests; as well as Actionetics along with Backpack.

If you’re confused with Etison/ Full Package, don’t worry, it is perplexing. This part I think ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail at the following section of the ClickFunnels review.

To summarize the differences, StartUp basically conveys the core feature of ClickFunnels, which can be called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Full Suite, on the other hand, packages the cornerstone instrument ClickFunnels with two other providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the complete set of ClickFunnels attributes. You are able to view the full official list .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

Are ClickFunnels’ attributes complete? I think they’re solid and you get everything you want. They’re largely intuitive and supply you with a fantastic amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are all good examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them separate sections. Clickfunnels Personal Jewelry

A/B split testing is definitely, although a feature a one.

If you duplicate a page and make changes to the copy, the divide test essentially lets you choose what percentages of the traffic that you need to see per page, letting you test conversion rates very handily. It is simple to use and a fantastic function.

In addition, I believe ClickFunnels is overall flexible and straightforward for other settings, like your account information or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them restrictive (a frequent theme among some criticisms), but as the service is supposed to be easy to use, I believed the fundamental features were pretty good.

There are a number of kinds of available pre-made funnels, oriented to different types of businesses, and you can of course build your personal funnel from scratch also.

Actionetics and Backpack

I take a moment in this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. In my opinion, Full Suite is just three products being packed together as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What is Actionetics? Well, it is what many would call an e-mail or only an auto-responder, but it’s a little more complicated. The chief goal of Actionetics is smart analytics that result in clever auto-responding, but the auto-responding entails snail mail as well as email, and some other goodies. Along with Actionetics includes Backpack (previously Backpack CRM), a tool supposed to create managing an affiliate program simpler and more efficient.

But are these features, or different products? Actionetics sounds somewhat like ClickFunnels attempting to market an iffy email auto-responder for me personally, but maybe I’m just cynical. In any case, it gets Complete Suite a little perplexing and removes the coherency you get together with the original ClickFunnels.

Here is the Complete list of all StartUp attributes
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 traffic
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 custom domains
  • A/B split evaluations
  • Mail integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All innovative funnels
  • Revenue funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Endless members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Purchase webpages
  • Upsell webpages
  • Downsale webpages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 billing integration per form

You may view the full list of features, along with complete Package features, here. If you’re in a position where you can manage to try Etison for a bit and you absolutely need an efficient, simple way of increasing earnings, I do not believe you would find yourself shorted. By that exact same token, I don’t think Actionetics and Backpack offer such a massive benefit that you can’t do without them: for many users, simply StartUp will provide a comprehensive enough bundle.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is ClickFunnels’ main attribute, so I wished to devote exclusive attention. In fact, I feel a large part of why I gave ClickFunnels a top rating has to do with it being a very solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page building applications and advertises its funnel approach, but truth be told, I use it mostly with this particular landing page builder.

Anyway, there’s quite an array of templates with great designs, though as you may expect, just the templates created by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are organized by funnel kind, so poking around is not too hard.

You might even save certain templates and also make personal page templates, and it is pretty simple to see them. As you can see, it is possible to toggle with settings and open from the editor.

You be working using a drag and drop builder When your pages open from the editor. It’s a little more complex than some other mild page builders, but it’s still easy to use.

The editor utilizes a webpage structure with four main components: sections, columns, rows, and components. Think of these parts as fitting inside each other (this article has a helpful diagram). Basically: columns, rows, and elements go inside of segments. You can have multiple sections per page. Rows and columns go indoors sections, but columns especially go into rows. This way you can have up to four, or a row with one column. Elements are the lively bits that also make your page interactive to its customers and go columns.

It might sound complex, but it’s rather simple to get the hang of. What’s color-coded–for example, in the above screenshot, the choice is a mild green box since it is a section, however when I was hovering over a component, it could be orange.

You can edit section, row, column, etc, via the side bar. Parts of your webpage and all of the little details can be altered or moved. The template editor allows for plenty of customization, but provides control too. You can do all sorts of things–cellular previews, edit colours, text, configurations, and just about anything you expect. If you’re handy with code, then you can even add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A little criticism I have heard (but don’t have personally) on the builder is the way grid-like it’s –you have to work within those rows and columns. Personally, I don’t believe this is a massive problem and the builder gives you enough hands without sacrificing ease of usage, but it may be worth a mention.
I enjoy the webpage builder a good deal. It makes designing your landing page very simple, and it functions ClickFunnels’ goal: to make it easier for you to make money online.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like: additional advertising and marketing tools you integrate in the ClickFunnels software. There are a couple of different types of integrations you can add to your ClickFunnels accounts: email, webinar, SMS/text, and actions. For instance, you might add MailChimp to your ClickFunnels since you enjoy MailChimp’s auto-responding software and you are enrolled with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has a few partners you can add to your integrations readily. Here’s a full list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Continuous Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to your integrations segment, you can look for these or just click on the search bar, and they will come up. It, simply click the one. Clickfunnels Personal Jewelry

The procedure for handling integrations can also be straightforward, though you might have to look at your third party program’s documentation to discover precisely what ClickFunnels needs. You’ll find the process pretty simple. Integrations are a bit more technical conceptually than some features, such as the page builder, so it is much appreciated to have an extremely simple way of incorporating and managing integrations.

Related to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways get incorporated and on other software platforms are just called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a part separate from integrations. They might be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways are also what they sound like: they’re the integrations that enable your clients to pay for your stuff. Your shop won’t really be much of a store unless you are using a payment gateway.

A list of the payment gateways you can add:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Managing each these integrations is pretty easy–as long as you’re all set up using whatever tool you are trying to incorporate with, you should not have any problems adding it into ClickFunnels. These integrations operate smoothly and you don’t need to fret much about them.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ main market is its simplicity of use–because their ad says,”Don’t waste any more time with’technology men! ”’ As I’ve stated in this ClickFunnels review, the main ceremony ClickFunnels offers is providing tools which allow the less experienced to save time and money. That being the case, evaluating ease of usage is pretty significant.

Short answer: It’s simple to use, but you need to still have some experience.

Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it might be a little overwhelming–and by first-timer, I mean new to the area of e-commerce and promotion –but the learning curve is far from hopeless. For most people, I’d say the learning curve could be only a couple hours maximum. If you are really behind, pick up Russell Brunson’s books mentioned in the critique.

Anyhow, ClickFunnels is unquestionably easier than creating funnels all on your own. They’ve a reasonable amount of documentation, and it might not be perfect, but it seems to me as if most queries should be covered, and you can always contact a customer service representative if it has to do with it.

All that aside, some pieces of ClickFunnels are pretty easy to get a hang of. The core features of ClickFunnels–that the real funnels–are fairly easy to control. A cohesive menu makes it easy to navigate into all parts of your funnel managing process, from picking templates into the drag and drop editor. Some configurations involving email integrations or charge processors will want a bit of understanding, but it is nowhere close to the amount of knowledge you would have to really code the funnels–it’s stuff you can determine by Googling around or seeing the docs centre.

Ultimately, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly straightforward, but it’s overall streamlined with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things often, but it likely will not be sufficient to hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 in simplicity of use. It unites choice and customizability with convenience, and while I would suggest all potential users input with some simple technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who is ClickFunnels for?

Who really stands to reap the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small businesses and startups (speaking from experience here) will find the maximum use from it. There are naturally variations in funnel types that appeal to a businesses.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, individuals exclusively in e-commerce or community advertising, and even those that offer B2B services will most likely be most suitable for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels generally does nicely with those offering more ventures that are independent or creative products. The pre-made funnels are highly oriented towards those businesses: for instance, if you are a florist, you might come across the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel for a good way of marketing for you. If you’re attempting to center everything there could be support too. The same goes for individuals selling content such as books or courses.

Obviously, you could always start from a blank funnel, and I do not think you should decide if ClickFunnels is right for you or not based only in their default funnel kinds. If you’re a smaller business, okay with the price tag, and you have to make your visitors work for you , I doubt you would be wasting your time or money using ClickFunnels. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to maintain a much better landing page.

Customer Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for getting adequate documentation on-site. I think their documentation is still adequate, although barely industry-standard for SaaS companies. Their page includes a series of classes. It may be simple, but it’s not too shabby. Clickfunnels Personal Jewelry

As once you log into for the customer service that is immediate, they have a feature within the dashboard, but I am not pleased by it. They’ve generally been helpful for easy questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I have had more complex questions, I’ve found them fairly unhelpful. With one special HTML publishing question, they took to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Users won’t require that sort of support and to be honest, most SaaS businesses don’t provide that degree of support. So I provide ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. Notably, in instances when features haven’t worked when there were site malfunctions or as promised, customer service representatives were allegedly either unhelpful or unresponsive. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, because of site error, a number of his clients were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained access to members-only content. He discovered that they were unhelpful and apathetic, After he contacted customer support. It may be a unlikely scenario, however it illustrates the point.

Overall Support Rating

I would not state ClickFunnels fails in client support–I think the team understand that their services are not easy to use and/or involve tools fresh for their customers, and they have put resources in their support to make it decent. At least queries will be answered, and they are fairly responsive. Maybe users, myself included, would not state ClickFunnels has outstanding customer support, but it meets. We give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

What’s the overarching verdict? It is fine! It’s a legitimate competitor in the advertising software area and worth trying out.

Yeah, a couple drawbacks are: If you need a more hands-on solution to your marketing needs with customization skills that are greater, you might want to look into third party options you’ll be able to tie together. If you’re going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself and end up dealing with unhelpful customer service agents, or some glitches in the program. You could also be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering all, I don’t think any of these outweigh the solid landing page builder, let other positives such as solid integrations, the brief learning curve, and templates that are good.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its core goal –to make it easier for you to funnel traffic and reach higher conversion prices. Even negative ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be helpful for significantly less internet-exposed entrepreneurs. I’m pretty certain that for the majority of prospective users, enough option is offered by the page builder. If you are looking first and foremost for a simple but solid sales solution or landing page editor, then ClickFunnels is a great tool. On promises, it has not reached its popularity after all, and that is why I am giving it 4/5 celebrities.
