ClickFunnels started back in 2014, but in only three years it has been, in the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet marketing industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: It makes it easier for companies and entrepreneurs to market stuff online using otherwise complex marketing technology, called sales funnels (more on those in a second).
The creator of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned as his creation, and for good reason. He’s made a fortune from ClickFunnels, but marketing experiences. He played around with email advertising for some time, and eventually started to master sales funnels.
Russell Brunson is the bestselling author of DotCom Secrets two novels, and Expert Secrets his lovers rave that guide and about people. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his site here. Get Expert Secrets free on his own website . Clickfunnels Millionaire
ClickFunnels started out as a way to help Brunson and his team produce funnels more rapidly for different ventures, as developing funnels would normally take weeks. But they soon realized their production would be helpful to others and had great potential as a product.
Which Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Function
Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it’s a procedure that takes people who do not understand you and turns them into clients, aka a marketing funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of steps developed to direct a website visitor to the checkout page.
There’s a method of considering it. Measure 1: Imagine that a funnel. Measure 2: Envision this funnel is in fact a metaphor, and rather than real ingredients to pour down the funnel, you have metaphorical ingredients that you telephone internet traffic or site traffic. Your website visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your website is beautifully designed, and your content is top notch!
Unfortunately, that still doesn’t turn a lot of your visitors . In a brick and mortar shop, that’s like people walking in to your store but not knowing where the cash register is, so they leave the shop without buying anything. At a store, you can speak your clients into purchasing something. In a digital store, you may be a bit more remote from the visitors. That is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to attract your customers’ through fundamentals of psychology. The funnel functions incremental, draw traffic in closer and closer till visitors wind up at a page.
You’re right if you feel that sounds cool –it has turned into a massive deal for internet marketing. Russell Brunson did not only become rich by selling ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it.
Pros: ClickFunnels Review
I have got some great information: ClickFunnels does its job!
ClickFunnels is meant to save you time and energy–to do what demands a whole lot of technological competence and/or a range of third party applications. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.
Makes You Cash
One of the best things about ClickFunnels is the focus on making money for the consumer. They make it put your content up, quite simple to make your accounts, and start taking payments. Plus, it’s rather easy to pick everything up–it’ll probably take you a couple hours to figure out most of what you need, maximum.
Drag and Drop Builder
Quite a few features are extremely useful here. I enjoy how simple it is to replicate pages, and also the fact I can save templates to be used again later. Their page builder is a pretty important feature, and they have pulled it off well. It is an builder, As soon as you get used to it.
Constructed in A/B testing is excellent. All you need to do is duplicate a page, make your adjustments, and pick the amounts of your visitors you wish to see variant A or B.
Great selection of Integrations
I believe ClickFunnels manages API integrations pretty nicely. Email autoresponders and payment chips aren’t too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are simple to manage.
You will also find a WordPress plugin that allows you add ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress site. It saves a good deal of time and is a lot less of a hassle than functioning between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin can be rated a strong 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin , using over 20,000 active setups.
All in one
In general, it’s good to get things so centralized: I can construct my landing pages, produce forms and purchase forms, and activate emails all from 1 platform.
All this really will save you time and money, resources you’d otherwise have to invest on developers, CSS, hosting configurations, etc.
You may rest assured that the lower-tiered account is a great investment–what you’re permitted for a StartUp accounts is pretty decent. If you’ve got over 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, the complete package may not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Millionaire
ClickFunnels is not ideal, but it does a great job of packaging great tools together and making them accessible. It arguably conserves most users a hassle they would have if they tried to handle funnels another way.
Disadvantages: Clickfunnels Review
I’ve got some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall powerful, it’s a number of places that need work.
A drawback is the cost. There are only two pricing options, at $97 a month or $297 a month. In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t just another investment in your organization, a huge drawback, and like I’ve mentioned, you receive a good package for it.
Lackluster Customer Support
Beyond this, client support is iffy at best. In my experience, they have been fine with basic queries, but if you inquire more difficult things, particularly about more advanced features, they won’t be very helpful.
Cult-like user base and software also reliant on Founder
This isn’t an objective criticism of their product but I take a small problem with their advertising that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.
If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it’s difficult to escape the hype. They’ve a great marketing. However, from a user experience standpoint, it can acquire obtrusive. Once you sign up for the software, you may attempt to examine the purpose features of this software and integrate it into your own workflow, or you’ll be missing and made to find out Russell Brunson’s advertising methods.
This usually means you will end up buying online classes, books, attending seminars, and getting sucked to the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k associates and articles is composed of people bragging about how much money they created and flashing their sports cars. Although these numbers are real, the users provide an impression that they are more concentrated on earning quick cash rather than building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped folks do good things, but it’s also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, online courses, saturation of coaches and experts, along with other spammy online entrepreneurs stuff.
We all know the founder is a marketing wizard, but so much of this product is tied into his own brand and his philosophy. As much as I value the landing page builder, everything around it seems to be an extension of Brunson’s platform.
Sometimes it’s difficult not to get the sensation which ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than mandatory, especially when a few aspects of their merchandise (i.e., customer support ) can still use some work.
This one isn’t on ClickFunnels however more about the community. While you have the capability to personalize within ClickFunnels, a lot of men and women use similar designs. Considering the prevalence of ClickFunnels, this has led to a large quantity of ClickFunnel-y looks. Diversity is vital.
Software Outages and Bugs
Every now and then, ClickFunnels will go down or experience some errors. Though this really doesn’t occur often, there’s little you can do but wait patiently. If you are investing a lot in advertising or forcing traffic to your own funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch attracts down your pages for even a few hours, you can potentially lose a lot of cash.
In addition, it is difficult to know if your pages are functioning or not, unless you constantly wait or wait till you hear from angry clients. Barring uptime, I deal with a few glitches when I clone webpages using the HTML publishing alternative.
Users Experience Differs… a lot
The dashboard changes frequently, the flow of creating new pages and funnels changes, a button will move around, pricing options change, etc–and it appears ClickFunnels remains figuring out things.
I like consistency within my applications, especially if it’s a business alternative.
Finally, a criticism I have heard but do not quite agree with : it is too simple, and too expensive for its simplicity. These criticisms have a tendency to refer to do-it-yourself approaches which may be more economical upfront and give more control over handling certain details. However, for less experienced users that are mainly seeking efficacy and an easy to use bundle of resources, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.
ClickFunnels includes two pricing plans–StartUp and Etison Suite, rather known as ClickFunnels and complete Suite–and even StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month plus Etison comes at $297 per month. For what it’s worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to test the support , so at least you do not have to commit to a costly plan straight away. Should you pay annually rather than monthly, you receive two months free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Full Suite).
Nonetheless, a little huh? Well, some might say , and I can see why–especially if you compare to LeadPages, a comparable (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 per month. But it’s necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to earn funnels more efficient, and it does a fairly good job. I personally consider it a fantastic investment.
The principal differences between an entry level account and a premium account are as follows: StartUp gets the principal service, the funnel-builder, with a few limitations on the amount of pages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and just a number of the complete list of features.
But, both plans have unlimited contacts, unlimited members, all complex funnels, A/B split tests, and a few other commonalities.
Etison/Full Suite includes a full list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this is a Backpack quality that lets you describe a product as a one time payment merchandise for your own payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack feature, but unlike one-time obligations, this allows your clients cover a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp has 1); unlimited funnels, pages, visits, along with custom domain names; priority support and template requests; as well as Actionetics and Backpack.
If you are confused with Etison/ Total Suite, don’t worry, it is confusing. This part I think ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail in the section of this ClickFunnels review.
To summarize the differences, StartUp essentially carries the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which is called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Total Suite, on the other hand, packs the foundation instrument ClickFunnels with two other services–Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the full set of ClickFunnels attributes. You are able to watch the complete official record .
Features Overview: Clickfunnels Review
Are ClickFunnels’ attributes overall? I believe they’re solid and you get whatever you want. They’re largely intuitive and supply you with a good amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are good examples of this and are crucial functions, so I will be giving them different segments. Clickfunnels Millionaire
A/B split testing is unquestionably, although a feature a noteworthy one.
If you replicate a webpage and make changes to the copy, the split test basically lets you choose what percentages of the traffic you need to see per page, allowing you test conversion rates very conveniently. It’s very simple to use and a function.
In addition, I think ClickFunnels is overall flexible and simple for different settings, such as your account details or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them restrictive (a common theme among some criticisms), but as the service is supposed to be simple to use, I believed the fundamental features were fairly great.
There are quite a few types of available pre-made funnels, oriented into several kinds of companies, and also you can of course build your personal funnel from scratch also.
Actionetics and Backpack
I’ll just take a moment in this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. In my view, Total Suite is just three products being packaged together as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.
What is Actionetics? Well, it’s exactly what many would call an e-mail or just an auto-responder, but it is a little more complex. The main objective of Actionetics is intelligent analytics that lead to clever auto-responding, but the auto-responding involves snail mail in addition to email, and some other goodies. Along with Actionetics includes Backpack (formerly Backpack CRM), an instrument designed to create managing an affiliate system simpler and more efficient.
However, are different products, or such attributes? Actionetics seems a bit like ClickFunnels trying to sell a iffy email auto-responder to me, but maybe I am just cynical. In any case, it makes Complete Suite a bit confusing and eliminates the coherency you get with the first ClickFunnels.
Here is the Complete list of StartUp features
- 20 funnels
- 100 pages
- 20,000 traffic
- boundless contacts
- 3 custom domains
- A/B split evaluations
- Mail integrations

- Membership funnels
- Endless members

You may view the complete list of features, along with complete Package attributes, here. If you are in a situation where you can afford to try out Etison for a little and you absolutely need an efficient, simple method of increasing sales, I don’t think you’d wind up shorted. By that same token, I don’t believe Actionetics and Backpack offer such a massive benefit that you can’t do without them: for most users, simply StartUp will provide a comprehensive enough package.
Clickfunnels Review: Page Builder
This is ClickFunnels’ feature, so I wanted to devote special attention. In fact, I feel a large part of why I gave ClickFunnels a top score has to do with it turned into a really solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction software and advertises its own funnel approach, but truth be told, I use it mostly with this particular landing page builder.
Anyway, there is rather a range of templates with good designs, though as you may expect, only the templates made by ClickFunnels are liberated. Templates are coordinated by funnel kind, therefore poking around isn’t too hard.
You might even save certain templates and also make personal page templates, and it’s rather simple to find them. As you can see, it is possible to toggle with basic settings and open from the editor.
You be working with a drop and drag builder once your pages open from the editor. It’s a little more complicated than some other light page builders, but it is still user friendly.
The editor utilizes a page structure with four chief components: sections, columns, rows, and components. Think of these components as fitting inside every other (this informative article has a helpful diagram). Basically: rows, columns, and elements go inside of segments. You can have multiple sections per page. Rows and columns go indoors sections, but columns especially go into rows. This way you can have up to four, or a row with a single column. Elements are the bits that go columns and also make your page interactive.
It might sound complex, but it’s rather easy to get the hang of. Everything is color-coded–for example, from the above screenshot, the choice is a mild green box since it is a section, but if I was hovering over a component, it would be orange.
A small criticism I have heard (but don’t have personally) on the builder is the way grid-like it’s –you need to work within those columns and rows. I personally don’t think this is a massive issue and the builder provides you sufficient hands without sacrificing ease of usage, but it may be worth a mention.
In general, I like the page builder a good deal. It makes designing your landing page quite easy, and it serves ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to make money on the web.
Integrations: ClickFunnels Review
Integrations are exactly what they sound like: additional marketing tools you integrate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few distinct kinds of integrations you are able to enhance your ClickFunnels account: email, webinar, SMS/text, and activities. By way of example, you might add MailChimp to your ClickFunnels since you like MailChimp’s auto-responding software and you’re registered with them. Easy!
ClickFunnels has quite a few partners you may enhance your integrations easily. Here’s a full list:
- Active Campaign
- Continuous Contact
- GVO PureLeverage
- HTML Form
- Mad Mimi
- Webinar Jam Studio
If you go to a integrations segment, you can look for these or just click on the search bar, and they’ll come up. It’s pretty self-explanatory, simply click on the one you want and add it. Clickfunnels Millionaire
The process for managing integrations can also be simple, though you may have to check your third party software’s documentation to discover precisely what ClickFunnels needs. In general, you’ll find the process pretty simple. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few features, like the page builder, so it’s much appreciated to have an extremely simple method of adding and handling integrations.
Connected to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become incorporated and on other applications platforms are only called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a section different from integrations. They may be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways are also what they sound like: they’re the integrations that enable your clients to pay for your stuff. Your store won’t really be a lot of store unless you’re using a payment gateway.
A listing of the payment gateways you can add:
- Blue Snap
- Easy Pay Direct
Managing each these integrations is pretty simple –so long as you’re all set up with whatever tool you’re trying to incorporate with, you shouldn’t have any problems adding it to ClickFunnels. These integrations operate and you do not have to fret much.
Ease of Use: ClickFunnels Review
If you haven’t picked it up by now, ClickFunnels’ most important sell is its ease of usage –as their advertisement says,”Do not waste any more time with’tech guys! ”’ As I’ve stated in this ClickFunnels review, the most important ceremony ClickFunnels offers is providing tools which enable the less experienced to save time and money. That being the case, evaluating ease of use is pretty important.
Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you need to still have some expertise.
Longer answer: For a first-timer, it might be a bit overwhelming–and by first-timer, I mean new to the area of e-commerce and promotion –but the learning curve is far from impossible. For many people, I would say that the learning curve would be only a few hours maximum. If you behind, pick up the books mentioned previously in the review of Russell Brunson.
Anyway, ClickFunnels is unquestionably easier than creating funnels on your own. They have a reasonable amount of documentation, and it might not be ideal, but it seems to me as if most queries should be covered, and you could always contact a customer support representative if it has to do with it.
All that aside, some pieces of ClickFunnels are rather easy to get a hang of. The center characteristics of ClickFunnels–the real funnels–are fairly easy to manage. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate to all sections of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates to the drag and drop editor. Some settings regarding email integrations or payment processors will require a bit of understanding, but it’s nowhere close to the amount of knowledge you would have to actually code the funnels–it’s stuff you can determine by Googling about or visiting the docs centre.
Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly straightforward, but it’s overall streamlined with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things frequently, but it likely will not be sufficient to hamper you.
We give it a 4 out of 5 in simplicity of use. It unites alternative and customizability with ease, and while I’d indicate all prospective users enter with a few basic technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is worried.
Who’s ClickFunnels for?
Who stands to reap the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small businesses and startups (talking from experience here) will get the maximum use out of it. There are variations in funnel types that appeal to some businesses over others.
Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, individuals exclusively in e-commerce or community advertising, and even those that offer B2B services will most likely be most suitable for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels generally does nicely with those offering more ventures that are individual or products. The pre-made funnels are highly oriented towards those businesses: for example, if you are a florist, you might come across the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel for a fantastic way of marketing for you. If you are attempting to center everything there would be support also. The same holds for people selling content such as publications or courses.
Obviously, you can always start from a blank funnel, and I do not think you should decide if ClickFunnels is right for you or not based only on their default funnel kinds. If you are a smaller business, okay with the price tag, and you have to make your visitors work for you , I doubt you would be wasting your money or time with ClickFunnels. I would particularly recommend it to anyone who wants to keep a better landing page.
Client Support: ClickFunnels Review
ClickFunnels’ customer support is an area that consists of a few nuances. I commend ClickFunnels for having adequate documentation on-site. I think their documentation is barely industry-standard for SaaS companies, but sufficient. Their docs page includes a series of categories. Content-wise it isn’t too shabby, although it may be simple. Clickfunnels Millionaire
As after you log into for the immediate customer service, they have a chat feature within the dashboard, but I am not delighted by it. They’ve been helpful for easy questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I’ve had more advanced questions, I’ve found them fairly unhelpful. With one HTML publishing query, they took three months to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users won’t require that sort of support and to be honest, most SaaS businesses don’t offer that level of support. So I provide ClickFunnels kudos for trying.
Furthermore, I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. In cases when features haven’t worked as promised or when there were weird site malfunctions, customer support reps were allegedly either unresponsive or unhelpful. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, due to site error, some of his clients were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained entry to members-only content. After he contacted customer support, he found they were unhelpful. It illustrates the point, although it might be a scenario that is improbable.
Total Support Rating
I wouldn’t state ClickFunnels fails in customer support–I think that the team largely understand that their solutions are not perfectly easy to use and/or demand tools new to their customers, and they’ve put enough resources into their support to make it decent. At least queries will be answered, and they’re fairly responsive. Most consumers would not state ClickFunnels has outstanding customer support, but it mostly meets a bare minimum that makes it at least good. In this class, we give it a 3 out of 5 stars.
Conclusion: ClickFunnels Review
So, what’s the conclusion? It is good–4 out of 5 stars! It’s a legitimate contender in the advertising program space and worth trying out.
Yeah, there are a couple drawbacks: Should you want a more hands-on answer to your advertising needs with greater customization abilities, you may want to check. If you’re going with ClickFunnels after all, you may find yourself and end up dealing with unhelpful customer service agents, or any glitches in the program. You might be annoyed by their self-promotion.
However, you know what? Considering all, I do not think any of them outweigh the solid landing page builder, let alone advantages such as good templates, integrations that are strong, and the learning curve.
All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its center goal –to make it easier for you to funnel traffic and attain conversion prices. Even unwanted ClickFunnels reviews acknowledge it can be helpful for internet-exposed entrepreneurs that are less. I am pretty sure that for the majority of users, the page builder provides choice. If you’re looking first and foremost to get an sales solution or landing page editor, ClickFunnels is a great tool. On empty promises, it hasn’t reached its popularity In the end, and that’s why I’m giving it 4/5 celebrities.
