What’s ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in just three years it has been, at the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet marketing industry.” Here’s the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for companies and entrepreneurs to market things online using differently complex advertising technologies, called sales funnels (more about those in a moment ).

The creator of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as famous as his creation, and for good reason. He’s made a fortune from ClickFunnels, but other marketing adventures. He played around with email advertising for some time, and started to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is Expert Secrets and the author of DotCom Secrets that his fans rave about and that guide people through his advertising and marketing methodologies. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his website here. Get Expert Secrets free on his own website Clickfunnels For Real Estate

ClickFunnels started out as a way to assist Brunson and his team create funnels more quickly for different ventures, as developing funnels would usually take weeks. But they soon realized their creation would be helpful to other people and had good potential as a commodity.

What Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let us explain what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it is a process that takes people who do not know you and turns them into customers, aka a advertising funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of steps designed to guide a web site visitor.

There is a less dull way of considering it. Step 1: Imagine a funnel. Measure 2: Envision this funnel is actually a metaphor, and instead of real ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients you telephone internet traffic or site traffic. Your site visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your website is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, that doesn’t turn many of your visitors into clients. In a physical store, that’s like people walking into your shop but not knowing where the cash register is, so that they leave the store without purchasing anything. At a store, you can talk your customers. In a digital shop, you could be a bit more distant from your visitors. This is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to appeal to your customers’ . The funnel functions incremental, bring traffic in closer and closer until visitors wind up at a payment page.

You are right, if you feel that sounds cool –it has become a huge deal for marketing. Russell Brunson did become rich by selling ClickFunnels technology, but by using it too.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some good news: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is meant to save time and energyto do what requires a whole lot of competence and/or a range of third party applications. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Money

Among the greatest things about ClickFunnels is the focus on earning money for your user. They make it easy to produce your accounts, put your content up, and start taking payments. Additionally, it is rather easy to select everything up–it will likely take you a few hours to find out most of what you need, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

Quite a few features are very useful here. I enjoy how simple it’s to replicate pages, and also the fact I will save templates for use again later. Their page builder is a pretty important feature, and they’ve pulled it off well. It is an builder, As soon as you get accustomed to it.

A/B testing

Constructed in A/B testing is great too. All you have to do is replicate a page, make your changes, and pick the amounts of your traffic that you wish to see variant A or B.

Great selection of Integrations

I think ClickFunnels manages API integrations pretty well. Email autoresponders and payment processors aren’t too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are simple to control.

WordPress Plugin

You’ll also find a handy WordPress plugin which lets you insert ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress website. It saves a lot of time and is much less of a hassle compared to working between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a solid 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin , with over 20,000 active installations.

All in one

In general, it’s great to get things so concentrated: I can build my landing pages, produce forms and order forms, and activate emails all from 1 platform.

All this really will save time and money, resources you’d otherwise need to invest on developers, CSS, hosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Worth

You may rest assured that the lower-tiered account is a good investment–what you are permitted for a StartUp accounts is pretty decent. If you’ve got over 20,000 visitors and want over 100 pages, the full suite might not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels For Real Estate

ClickFunnels is not perfect, but it does a great job of packaging great tools together and making them more accessible. It arguably saves most users a hassle they would have if they tried to manage funnels another way.

Cons: Clickfunnels Review

I have some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall powerful, it’s quite a few places that require work.

Overpriced?

A drawback is the cost. There are two pricing alternatives, at $97 per month or $297 a month. From the grand scheme of things, this isn’t like I’ve said , another investment in your organization, and a massive drawback, you receive a package for this.

Lackluster Customer Support

Beyond that, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they’ve been fine with basic queries, but if you inquire harder things, particularly about more innovative features, they won’t be quite helpful.

Cult-like user base and software too reliant on Creator

This is not an objective criticism of their merchandise but I take a slight problem with their marketing that I believe is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it is difficult to escape the hype. They’ve a fantastic advertising for sure. But from a user experience perspective, it can get obtrusive. When you sign up for the applications, you can try to look at the objective features of the software and integrate it in your own workflow, or you’ll be lost and forced to learn Russell Brunson’s marketing procedures.

This means you will end up buying online classes, publications, attending conventions, and getting sucked into the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k members and posts is composed of people flashing their sports cars and bragging about how much money they created. Although these numbers are real, the consumers provide an impression that they’re more focused on earning quick money rather than building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped folks do great things, but it has also helped proliferate fast rich schemes, online courses, saturation of trainers and experts, along with other spammy online entrepreneurs stuff.

We know the creator is a marketing but so much of the product is tied to his doctrine and his brand. As much as I appreciate the landing page builder, everything about it seems to be an extension of Brunson’s platform.

At times it’s difficult to not get the sensation which ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than mandatory, especially when some aspects of their product (i.e., client support ) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one isn’t on ClickFunnels however more on the neighborhood. While you have the ability to customize within ClickFunnels, many people use similar layouts. Considering the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has led to a great amount of ClickFunnel-y looks. Diversity is vital.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels encounter some errors or will go down. Though this doesn’t occur frequently, there’s little you can do but wait patiently. If you’re investing a great deal in advertising or driving traffic to your funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch attracts down your pages for even a couple of hours, you may potentially lose a good deal of cash.

It’s also difficult to know if your pages are functioning or not, unless you always check or wait until you hear from angry customers. When I replicate pages using the HTML printing option barring bandwidth, I deal with a few glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes frequently, the flow of creating new pages and funnels changes, a button will move around, pricing choices change, etc–and it appears ClickFunnels remains figuring out things.

I enjoy consistency in my software, particularly if it’s a business solution.

Too Simple

Finally, a criticism I have heard but do not quite agree with personally: it’s too simple, and too pricey because of its simplicity. These criticisms tend to refer to do-it-yourself approaches which can be cheaper upfront and yield more control over managing certain details. But for less experienced users that are mainly seeking efficiency and an easy to use package of tools, I would not emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing programs –StartUp and Etison Suite, rather known as ClickFunnels and complete Suite–as well as StartUp begins on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month and Etison comes in at $297 a month. For what it is worth, you also receive a 14 day free trial to try out the support , so at least you do not have to commit to a costly plan straight away. If you pay annually rather than monthly, you get two months free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Full Package ).

Nonetheless, a little hefty huh? Well, some might say , and that I could see why–especially in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a similar (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 per month. But it is important to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ main service is to earn funnels more effective, and it does a pretty good job. Personally, I consider it a fantastic investment.

The principal differences between an entry level account along with a premium accounts are as follows: StartUp receives the main service, the funnel-builder, with some limitations on the number of webpages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and just a number of the complete list of features.

But, both plans have unlimited contacts, unlimited members, all complex funnels, A/B divide evaluations, and a few other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite has a full list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack feature which allows you characterize a product as a one-time payment merchandise for your own payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack feature, but unlike one-time payments, this lets your clients pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); boundless funnels, pages, visits, along with custom domain names; priority support and template requests; as well as Actionetics along with Backpack.

If you’re confused with Etison/ Total Package, do not worry, it is confusing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail in the section of this ClickFunnels review.

To summarize the gaps, StartUp essentially conveys the core feature of ClickFunnels, which can be called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Full Package, on the other hand, packages the cornerstone instrument ClickFunnels with two additional providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the complete set of ClickFunnels attributes. You are able to watch the complete official list .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

Are ClickFunnels’ attributes complete? I believe that they’re solid and you get whatever you need. They are largely intuitive and supply you with a good amount of control. The template editor and integration management system are all great examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them separate sections. Clickfunnels For Real Estate

A/B split testing is a feature, but definitely a notable one.

If you replicate a webpage and also make changes to the backup, the split test essentially enables you to select what percentages of the traffic that you want to see per page, letting you test conversion rates very conveniently. It is a fantastic function and easy to use.

I also think ClickFunnels is overall flexible and straightforward for other settings, such as your account details or integrations. Maybe very tech literate people would find them prohibitive (a frequent theme among some criticisms), but while the support is supposed to be easy to work with, I thought the basic features were pretty great.

There are quite a few types of available pre-made funnels, oriented to different kinds of companies, and also you can obviously build your own funnel from scratch too.

Actionetics and Backpack

I have a minute in this Clickfunnels Review to discuss Full Suite. In my view, Total Suite is three products being packaged as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What is Actionetics? Well, it’s what many would call an email auto-responder or only an auto-responder, but it’s a bit more complex. The chief goal of Actionetics is intelligent analytics that lead to smart auto-responding, but the auto-responding entails snail mail as well as email, and a few other goodies. Together with Actionetics comes Backpack (previously Backpack CRM), an instrument designed to make managing an affiliate program easier and more efficient.

But are these features, or products that are different? Actionetics seems somewhat like ClickFunnels trying to sell an iffy email auto-responder to me, but perhaps I’m just cynical. Whatever the case, it makes Full Suite a bit perplexing and eliminates the coherency you get with the first ClickFunnels.

Here is the Complete list of all StartUp features
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 visitors
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 habit domains
  • A/B split tests
  • Email integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All advanced funnels
  • Revenue funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Unlimited members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Purchase webpages
  • Upsell pages
  • Downsale pages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 charging integration per form

You may view the complete list of features, together with complete Package attributes, here. If you’re in a situation where you are able to afford to try Etison for a bit and you also absolutely require an efficient, easy method of increasing sales, I don’t believe you would find yourself shorted. By that same token, I really don’t believe Actionetics and Backpack provide such a huge benefit that you can not do without them: for most users, simply StartUp will provide a comprehensive enough package.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is ClickFunnels’ attribute, so I wished to devote exclusive attention. In reality, I think a large portion of why I gave ClickFunnels a top score has to do with it being a very solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page building applications and advertises its funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it mostly with this particular landing page builder.

Anyhow, there’s rather a range of templates with good layouts, however as you can expect, just the templates made by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are coordinated by funnel kind, so poking around isn’t too hard.

You can also save certain templates and also create own page templates, and it is rather simple to find them. As you can see, you open in the editor and can toggle with fundamental settings.

You’ll essentially be working using a drag and drop builder When your pages start from the editor. It’s a little more complicated than some other light page builders, but it is still easy to use.

The editor utilizes a webpage structure with four chief components: sections, rows, columns, and elements. Think of these parts as fitting inside every other (this informative article includes a helpful diagram). Fundamentally: rows, columns, and components go inside of sections. You can have multiple sections per page. Rows and columns move indoors sections, but columns specifically enter rows. This way you may have around four, or a row with one column. Elements are the dynamic bits that go inside columns and make your page interactive to its customers.

It might sound complicated, but it’s rather easy to get the hang of. What’s color-coded–for example, from the above screenshot, the selection is a light green box because it’s a part, however if I had been hovering over a component, it would be orange.

You could also edit by section, row, column, etc, via the side bar. Parts of your webpage and all of the small details can be altered or moved. The editor allows for lots of customization, but provides control also. You can do a variety of things–cellular previews, edit colours, text, settings, and nearly anything you anticipate. If you are handy with code, then you may even add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A small criticism I’ve heard (but don’t have ) about the builder is the way grid-like it’s –you have to work within these columns and rows. I personally don’t believe this is a massive problem and the builder gives you enough control without sacrificing ease of use, but it might be worth a mention.
I enjoy the page builder a lot. It makes designing your landing page quite easy, and it functions ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to earn money on the web.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like advertising and marketing tools you integrate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few different kinds of integrations you are able to enhance your ClickFunnels accounts: email, webinar, SMS/text, and activities. For instance, you might add MailChimp for your ClickFunnels since you like MailChimp’s auto-responding applications and you are enrolled with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has a few partners you may enhance your integrations. Here’s a list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Constant Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to your integrations segment, you can look for these or just click the search bar, and they’ll come up. It, just click the one. Clickfunnels For Real Estate

The procedure for handling integrations is also straightforward, though you might have to look at your third party program’s documentation to find precisely what ClickFunnels needs. You’ll discover the procedure straightforward. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few attributes, such as the page builder, so it’s much appreciated to have an extremely simple way of incorporating and managing integrations.

Connected to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become integrated and on other applications platforms are just called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a part separate from integrations. They may also be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways are also the things they sound like: they’re the integrations that allow your customers to pay for your stuff. Your shop won’t really be a lot of shop unless you’re using a payment gateway.

A listing of the payment gateways you can add:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Handling all these integrations is pretty easy–so long as you are all set up with whatever tool you are trying to integrate with, you shouldn’t have any problems adding it into ClickFunnels. These integrations normally run and you don’t have to fret much.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by now, ClickFunnels’ most important sell is its simplicity of usage –as their ad says,”Don’t waste any more time with’technology men! ”’ As I’ve stated in this ClickFunnels review, the most important ceremony ClickFunnels offers is providing tools which enable the less experienced save money and time. That being the situation, evaluating ease of usage is really important.

Short answer: It’s simple to use, but you should still have some experience.

Longer answer: For a first-timer, it may be a bit overwhelming–and from first-timer, I mean new to the world of e-commerce and marketing–but the learning curve is far from impossible. For most people, I’d say that the learning curve would be just a couple hours maximum. Pick up the books mentioned in the critique of Russell Brunson, if you behind.

Anyway, ClickFunnels is certainly easier than creating funnels on your own. They’ve a fair amount of documentation, and it might not be ideal, but it appears to me like most questions must be covered, and you can always contact a customer support representative if it has to do with it.

All that aside, some parts of ClickFunnels are rather easy to get a hang . The center characteristics of ClickFunnels–the actual funnels–are fairly simple to manage. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate to all parts of your funnel managing process, from picking templates to the drag and drop editor. Some configurations involving email integrations or charge processors will require a little bit of understanding, but it’s nowhere near the quantity of knowledge you would have to actually code the funnels–it is things you’ll be able to determine by Googling around or visiting the docs centre.

Ultimately, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly simple, but it’s overall streamlined with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things often, but it probably won’t be sufficient to significantly hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 at ease of use. It unites alternative and customizability with ease, and while I would suggest all potential users enter with a few basic technological literacy, it basically succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who’s ClickFunnels for?

Who really stands to benefit the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small businesses and startups (talking from experience here) will get the maximum use from it. There are naturally variations in funnel kinds that appeal to some companies.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, people exclusively in e-commerce or network marketing, and even those offering B2B services will probably be most suitable for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels in general does well with people offering more creative products or ventures that are individual. The pre-made funnels are highly oriented towards those industries: for example, if you are a gentleman, you might find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a good way of marketing for you. If you are attempting to center everything on your own and your brand, there would be great support also. The same goes for people selling content like publications or courses.

Of course, you can always start from a blank funnel, and I don’t think you need to decide if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based purely on their default funnel types. If you are a smaller company, alright with the price , and you need to make your visitors work for you better, I doubt you would be wasting your time or money with ClickFunnels. I would particularly recommend it to anyone who would like to keep a much better landing page.

Customer Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having adequate documentation on-site. I think their documentation is sufficient, although only for SaaS companies. Their docs page includes a series of classes. It may be simple, however content-wise it isn’t too shabby. Clickfunnels For Real Estate

As for the customer service that is direct, they’ve a feature within the dashboard after you log into, but I’m not pleased by it. They have generally been useful for easy questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I have had more advanced questions, I have found them pretty unhelpful. With one specific HTML publishing query, they took three months to return to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Users won’t require that kind of support and to be honest, most SaaS businesses don’t provide that degree of support. So I provide ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

I’ve discovered a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences with customer support. Notably, in cases when features have not worked as promised or when there were bizarre site malfunctions, client support representatives were allegedly unhelpful or unresponsive. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, due to site error, some of his clients were locked out and the way other non-paying visitors gained entry to members-only content. He found they were unhelpful and apathetic when he contacted customer support. It might be a situation that is bizarre, improbable, but it illustrates the point.

Overall Support Rating

I would not say ClickFunnels fails in customer support–I think the team understand that their solutions are not perfectly simple to use and/or involve tools fresh to their users, and they’ve put enough resources into their support to make it adequate. At least questions will be answered, and they’re fairly responsive. Perhaps most consumers would not state ClickFunnels has outstanding customer support, but it mostly meets. We give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

What’s the conclusion? It is fine –4 out of 5 stars! It is a legitimate contender in the marketing program area and worth trying out.

Yeah, there are a few drawbacks: you might want to look into third party options you can connect together, Should you want a more hands-on solution to your marketing needs with customization abilities. If you are going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself unlucky and end up dealing with customer service representatives, or any glitches in the software. You might also be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering all, I don’t think any of these outweigh the solid landing page builder, let alone positives like templates that are good, integrations that are solid, and the learning curve.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its core goal –to make it easier for you to funnel visitors and attain conversion prices. Even unwanted ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be helpful for less entrepreneurs that are internet-exposed. I’m pretty certain that for the vast majority of potential users, choice is offered by the webpage builder. If you are looking first and foremost to get an sales solution or landing page editor, then ClickFunnels is a great tool. After all, it hasn’t reached its popularity on promises, and that I’m giving it 4/5 stars.
