What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in only 3 years it has been, at the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the online advertising industry.” Here’s the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for businesses and entrepreneurs to sell stuff online using otherwise complicated marketing technologies, known as sales funnels (more on those in a second).

The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as famous and for good reason. He has made a fortune from ClickFunnels, but marketing adventures. He played with email marketing for some time, and eventually began to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is the bestselling author of DotCom Secrets two novels, and Expert Secrets his fans rave that direct and about people through his marketing methodologies. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his site here. Get Expert Secrets free on his own website Clickfunnels For Insurance

ClickFunnels started out as a way to help Brunson and his staff create funnels more rapidly for distinct ventures, as developing funnels would normally take months. They soon realized their production would be useful to other people and had great potential as a commodity.

Which Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it is a procedure that takes individuals who do not know you and turns them to clients, aka a advertising funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of measures designed to guide a web site visitor.

There’s a dull way of thinking about it. Measure 1: Imagine that a funnel. Measure 2: Envision this funnel is in fact a metaphor, and rather than real ingredients to pour down the funnel, you have metaphorical ingredients that you telephone web traffic or website traffic. Your site visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your website is beautifully designed, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, that still doesn’t turn many of your visitors into customers. In a brick and mortar shop, that is like people walking in to your store but not understanding where the cash register is, so they leave the store without buying anything. You can speak your customers. In a shop, you could be a bit more distant from your customers. This is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to attract your customers’ . The funnel works step-by-step, draw visitors in closer and closer until people end up in a payment page.

If you feel that sounds cool, you’re correct –it’s become a huge deal for advertising. Russell Brunson did become rich by promoting ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it as well.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some great news: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is intended to help save you time and energy–to do exactly what otherwise demands a lot of technological competence and/or a range of third party software. In this respect, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Money

Among the best things about ClickFunnels is the focus on making money for your consumer. They make it put up your content easy to make your account, and begin taking payments. Plus, it’s rather easy to pick everything up–it’ll likely take you a couple hours to figure out most of what you need, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

A few features are very useful here. I enjoy how simple it is to replicate pages, and the fact I will save templates to be used again later. Their page builder is a pretty important feature, and they’ve pulled it off nicely. It is an easy to use drag and drop builder As soon as you get accustomed to it.

A/B analyzing

Built in A/B testing is great. All you have to do is replicate a webpage, make your changes, and pick the amounts of the visitors that you want to see variant A or B.

Great Choice of Integrations

I think ClickFunnels manages API integrations pretty well. Email autoresponders and payment chips are not too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are easy to control.

WordPress Plugin

You will also find a WordPress plugin which lets you insert ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress site. It saves a lot of time and is much less of a hassle than working between ClickFunnels and WordPress with no plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a strong 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin , with over 20,000 active setups.

All in one

In general, it’s good to get things so concentrated: I can construct my landing pages, create forms and purchase forms, and activate emails all from one platform.

All of this really does save you time and money, resources you’d otherwise need to spend on programmers, CSS, hosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Worth

You may be sure the lower-tiered account is a great investment–what you are allowed for a StartUp accounts is pretty decent. If you’ve got over 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, then the complete package might not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels For Insurance

ClickFunnels is not ideal, but it does a great job of packaging good tools together and making them accessible. It arguably saves most users a headache they’d have if they tried to handle funnels another manner.

Disadvantages: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall powerful, it’s a number of places that need work.

A small drawback is the price. There are just two options, at either $97 a month or $297 per month. From the grand scheme of things, this isn’t another investment in your organization, a drawback, and like I have said, you receive a good package for it.

Lackluster Customer Support

Beyond this, client support is iffy at best. In my experience, they’ve been nice with basic questions, but if you ask them harder things, particularly about more advanced features, they will not be very helpful.

Cult-like user base and software also reliant on Founder

This isn’t an objective criticism of the product but that I take a small issue with their advertising that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of their funnels, it’s hard to escape the hype surrounding it. They’ve a great advertising for sure. However, from a user experience perspective, it can get obtrusive. When you register for the software, you may attempt to look at the purpose features of the software and integrate it in your own workflow, or you’ll be lost and forced to find out Russell Brunson’s advertising methods.

This means you will find yourself purchasing online courses, publications, attending conventions, and getting sucked into the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k associates and articles is composed of people bragging about how much money they created and flashing their sport cars. Though these numbers are real, the consumers give an impression that they are more concentrated on making quick cash rather than building great products and services. ClickFunnels has helped folks do good things, but it’s also helped proliferate fast rich schemes, online classes, saturation of trainers and specialists, and other spammy internet entrepreneurs stuff.

Most of us know the founder is a marketing magician, but so much of the product is tied to his own brand and his philosophy. As much as I value the landing page builder, everything around it looks to be an expansion of Brunson’s platform.

Sometimes it’s hard to not get the sensation which ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than mandatory, particularly when some elements of their merchandise (i.e., client support ) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one is not on ClickFunnels but more about the neighborhood. As you have the capability to personalize broadly within ClickFunnels, many people use layouts. Considering the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has resulted in a large amount of ClickFunnel-y looks. Diversity is vital.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels experience some errors or will go down. Though this really doesn’t happen often, there’s little you can do but wait. If you’re investing a lot in advertising or driving visitors to your own funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch attracts down your pages for even a couple of hours, then you can potentially lose a lot of money.

In addition, it is difficult to know when your pages are functioning or not, if you don’t always wait or wait till you hear from angry customers. When I clone webpages using the HTML printing option barring uptime, I also deal with some glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes frequently, the stream of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will move around, pricing choices change, etcand it appears ClickFunnels remains figuring things out.

I enjoy consistency within my applications, particularly if it’s a business solution.

Too Simple

At length, a criticism I have heard but do not quite agree with : it’s too simple, and too pricey because of its simplicity. All these criticisms tend to refer to do-it-yourself approaches that may be more economical upfront and yield more control over handling certain details. But for less experienced users that are mainly seeking efficacy and an simple to use package of tools, I would not emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing programs –StartUp and Etison Suite, rather known as ClickFunnels and Full Suite–as well as StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month plus Etison comes at $297 a month. For what it is worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to test the service, in order you do not have to commit to an expensive plan straight away. Should you pay annually instead of monthly, you receive two months free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Total Suite).

Nonetheless, a little huh? Well, some would say , and I could see why–particularly in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a similar (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 a month. However, it is important to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to make funnels more efficient, and it does a fairly good job. I personally consider it a fantastic investment.

The principal differences between an entry level account along with a premium accounts are as follows: StartUp receives the principal service, the funnel-builder, with some limitations on the number of webpages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only a number of the complete list of features.

However, both programs have unlimited contacts, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B split tests, and a few other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite has a full list of features, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack quality that lets you describe a product as a one time payment merchandise for your own payment gateways); subscription programs (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time payments, this lets your customers pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); unlimited funnels, pages, visits, and spiritual domains; priority support and template requests; also as Actionetics and Backpack.

If you are confused with Etison/ Full Suite, don’t worry, it is confusing. This part I think ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail at the following section of this ClickFunnels review.

To outline the gaps, StartUp essentially carries the core feature of ClickFunnels, which can be called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Full Suite, on the other hand, packs the foundation tool ClickFunnels with two additional providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the full set of ClickFunnels features. You can view the complete official record .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

How are ClickFunnels’ attributes complete? I believe that they’re strong and you get whatever you want. They’re largely intuitive and give you a fantastic amount of control. The template editor and integration management system are all great examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them separate sections. Clickfunnels For Insurance

A/B split testing is a smaller feature, but definitely a one.

If you duplicate a webpage and also make changes to the copy, the split test basically lets you select what percentages of your visitors that you need to see per page, letting you examine conversion rates very handily. It is quite easy to use and a fantastic function.

In addition, I think ClickFunnels is overall flexible and straightforward for other settings, like your account details or integrations. Maybe very tech literate people would find them prohibitive (a common theme among a few criticisms), but while the service is supposed to be simple to work with, I thought the fundamental features were fairly good.

There are a number of kinds of available pre-made funnels, oriented into several kinds of businesses, and also you can of course build your own funnel from scratch also.

Actionetics and Backpack

I take a moment within this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. In my view, Total Suite is just three products being packaged as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What’s Actionetics? Well, it is what many would call an email auto-responder or just an auto-responder, but it’s a bit more complex. The main objective of Actionetics is smart analytics which lead to clever auto-responding, but the auto-responding involves snail mail as well as email, and some other goodies. Along with Actionetics comes Backpack (previously Backpack CRM), a tool designed to create managing an affiliate system simpler and more effective.

However, are such attributes, or products that are separate? Actionetics seems somewhat like ClickFunnels trying to market a iffy email auto-responder for me personally, but maybe I’m just cynical. In any case, it makes Full Suite a bit perplexing and removes the coherency you get together with the first ClickFunnels.

Here’s the Complete list of StartUp features
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 visitors
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 custom domains
  • A/B split tests
  • Mail integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All innovative funnels
  • Revenue funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Unlimited members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Purchase webpages
  • Upsell pages
  • Downsale webpages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 charging integration per type

You may watch the complete list of features, together with complete Suite features, here. If you are in a situation where you can manage to try out Etison for a little and you absolutely need an efficient, simple method of increasing sales, I don’t believe you would find yourself shorted. By that same token, I don’t think Actionetics and Backpack offer such a huge advantage that you can not do without themfor many users, just StartUp will offer a thorough adequate package.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is ClickFunnels’ feature, so I wanted to devote special attention to it. In fact, I think a large part of why I gave ClickFunnels a high rating has to do with it being a very good landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction software and advertises its own funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it mostly with this landing page builder.

Anyway, there is rather an array of templates with great layouts, however as you can expect, only the templates made by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are coordinated by funnel kind, so poking around is not too hard.

You might even save certain templates and make personal page templates, and it’s rather simple to see them. It is possible to toggle with fundamental settings and open in the editor as you can see.

You be working with a drag and drop builder When your pages open from the editor. It’s a bit more complex than some other mild page builders, but it’s still user friendly.

The editor uses a page structure with four chief components: sections, rows, columns, and elements. Think of these components as fitting within every other (this informative article has a very helpful diagram). Basically: columns, rows, and components go inside of segments. You can have several segments per page. Rows and columns move indoors sections, but columns specifically enter rows. This way you can have a row with one column, or around four. Elements are the lively bits that make your page interactive and go columns.

It might sound complex, but it’s pretty easy to get the hang . Everything is color-coded–for instance, in the above screenshot, the selection is a light green box because it is a section, however when I was hovering over an element, it would be orange.

You can also edit section, row, column, etc, through the side bar. All the little details and parts of your page can be altered or moved. The template editor allows for lots of customization, but offers control that is good . You can do all sorts of things–cellular previews, edit colors, text, configurations, and nearly anything you anticipate. If you are handy with code, you may also add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A small criticism I have heard (but don’t have personally) about the builder is the way grid-like it’s –you have to work within those rows and columns. Personally, I don’t think this is a huge problem and the builder gives you sufficient control without sacrificing ease of usage, but it might be worth a mention.
I enjoy the webpage builder a good deal. It makes designing your landing page quite easy, and it functions ClickFunnels’ goal: to make it easier for you to make money online.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like advertising and marketing tools you incorporate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few distinct kinds of integrations you are able to add to your ClickFunnels account: email, webinar, SMS/text, and activities. For instance, you might add MailChimp to your ClickFunnels because you enjoy MailChimp’s auto-responding applications and you are registered with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has quite a few partners you may enhance your integrations easily. Here’s a Complete list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Constant Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to a integrations segment, you can look for these or just click the search bar, and they will come up. It is pretty self-explanatory, just click the one. Clickfunnels For Insurance

The process for handling integrations can also be simple, though you may have to look at your third party software’s documentation to discover exactly what ClickFunnels needs. You’ll discover the procedure pretty straightforward. Integrations are a bit more technical conceptually than a few features, like the page builder, so it’s much appreciated to have an extremely simple way of adding and handling integrations.

Related to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become incorporated and on other software platforms are just called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they get a part different from integrations. They may also be known to ClickFunnels as charging integrations. Payment gateways are also what they sound like: they are the integrations that enable your customers to pay for your stuff. Your store will not really be much of a store unless you’re using a payment gateway.

A listing of the payment gateways you can add:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Managing all of these integrations is pretty simple –so long as you’re all set up using whatever tool you’re trying to integrate with, you should not have any problems adding it into ClickFunnels. In my experience, these integrations usually run and you don’t have to fret much about them.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ most important market is its simplicity of usage –because their ad says,”Do not waste any more time with’tech guys! ”’ As I’ve said in this ClickFunnels review, the most important service ClickFunnels provides is providing tools which enable the less experienced save time and money. That being the case, assessing ease of usage is really significant.

Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you should still have some expertise.

Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it might be a bit overwhelming–and by first-timer, I mean new to the world of e-commerce and promotion –but the learning curve is far from impossible. For most people, I would say the learning curve would be only a couple hours maximum. If you behind, pick up Russell Brunson’s books mentioned earlier in the review.

Anyhow, ClickFunnels is certainly easier than creating funnels on your own. They have a reasonable amount of documentation, and it might not be ideal, but it appears to me as if most queries must be covered, and you can always contact a customer service representative if it has to do with it.

All that aside, some parts of ClickFunnels are pretty easy to get a hang . The core features of ClickFunnels–the real funnels–are fairly simple to control. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate to all parts of your funnel managing process, from picking templates to the drag and drop editor. Some settings regarding email integrations or payment processors will want a little bit of understanding, but it’s nowhere near the quantity of knowledge you would have to actually code the funnels–it is stuff you’ll be able to figure out by Googling around or seeing the docs center.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly simple, but it’s overall compact with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things frequently, but it likely will not be sufficient to significantly hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 at simplicity of use. It unites alternative and customizability with ease, and while I would indicate all prospective users enter with a few simple technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is worried.

Who is ClickFunnels for?

Who really stands to reap the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small companies and startups (speaking from experience here) will get the most use from it. There are naturally variations in funnel kinds that appeal to some companies.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, people exclusively in e-commerce or community marketing, and those offering B2B services would probably be most fit for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels in general does ventures that are individual or creative products. The pre-made funnels are oriented towards those industries: for example, if you are a gentleman, you might find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a good method of marketing for you. If you’re attempting to center everything around yourself and your brand, there could be support also. The same goes for individuals selling content such as courses or books.

Of course, you can always start from a blank funnel, and I do not think you need to decide if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based purely on their default funnel kinds. If you are a smaller business, alright with the price , and you need to make your visitors work for you , I doubt you’d be wasting your money or time with ClickFunnels. I would especially recommend it to anyone who would like to keep a better landing page.

Client Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for getting decent documentation on-site. I think their documentation is just barely industry-standard for SaaS companies, but still sufficient. Their page includes a collection of classes, each with their own posts. Content-wise it isn’t too shabby, although it may be easy. Clickfunnels For Insurance

As once you log in for the direct customer service, they have a feature inside the dashboard, but I am not delighted with it. They have been helpful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but when I have had more complex questions, I have found them pretty unhelpful. With one HTML publishing query, they required to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users will not need that sort of support and to be honest, most SaaS businesses don’t provide that level of support. So I provide ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. In instances when features haven’t worked if there were site malfunctions or as promised, customer support representatives were either unresponsive or unhelpful. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, due to site error, some of his clients were locked out and the way other non-paying visitors gained access to members-only content. He found they were unhelpful and apathetic After he contacted customer service. It illustrates the point, although it might be a situation.

Overall Support Rating

I would not say ClickFunnels fails in client support–I think the team largely understand that their services are not simple to use and/or involve tools new for their users, and they’ve put enough resources into their support to make it adequate. At least queries will be answered, and they are pretty responsive. Perhaps consumers would not state ClickFunnels has outstanding customer support, but it meets. We give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

What’s the verdict that is overarching? It is good–4 out of 5 stars! It is a legitimate contender in the advertising software area and worth trying out.

Yeah, there are a few drawbacks: you may want to check, If you need a more hands-on solution to your advertising needs with higher customization abilities. If you’re going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself unfortunate and end up dealing with customer service representatives, or any glitches in the software. You could also be annoyed by their self-promotion.

But you know what? Considering all, I do not think any of them outweigh the good landing page builder, let alone additional positives like templates that are superior integrations, and the brief learning curve.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its center objective–to make it easier for you to funnel visitors and attain conversion prices. Even unwanted ClickFunnels reviews acknowledge it can be quite helpful for significantly less entrepreneurs that are internet-exposed. I am pretty certain that for the majority of potential users, the page builder provides option. If you’re looking first and foremost to get an sales solution or landing page editor, then ClickFunnels is a superb tool. On promises, it hasn’t reached its popularity after all, and that I’m giving it 4/5 celebrities.
