What’s ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in only 3 years it has been, in the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet advertising industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it much easier for businesses and entrepreneurs to market stuff online using otherwise complex marketing technologies, known as sales funnels (more on those in a second).

The creator of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned and for good reason. He’s made a fortune, not just from ClickFunnels, but other advertising adventures. He played around with email advertising for a while, and eventually began to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is the bestselling author of DotCom Secrets two books, and Expert Secrets that his fans rave that direct and about people through his advertising and marketing methodologies. You are able to pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his website here. Get Expert Secrets free on his website Clickfunnels Contact Phone Number

ClickFunnels started out as a means to assist Brunson and his team produce funnels more rapidly for different ventures, as developing funnels would normally take weeks. They had good potential as a commodity and soon realized their creation would be useful to other people.

Which Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Function

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let us clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it’s a process that takes people who don’t understand you and turns them to customers, aka a marketing funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a set of measures designed to direct a web site visitor to the checkout page.

There’s a dull method of thinking about it. Measure 1: Imagine a funnel. Measure 2: Imagine this funnel is in fact a metaphor, and instead of real ingredients to pour down the funnel, you have metaphorical ingredients that you call web traffic or website traffic. Your site visitors are looking around, checking out things. Your site is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, many of your visitors doesn’t turn into customers. In a physical shop, that is like people walking in to your shop but not understanding where the cash register is, so that they leave the store without buying anything. You can speak your clients into purchasing something. In a store, you may be a bit more remote from the customers. This is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to attract your clients’ through fundamentals of psychology. The funnel works step-by-step, draw traffic in closer and closer until people end up at a page.

If you feel that sounds cool, you are correct –it’s turned into a huge deal for online marketing. Russell Brunson did get wealthy by selling ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it as well.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some great news: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is meant to help save time and energyto do what requires a lot of proficiency and/or an array of third party applications. In this respect, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Cash

Among the best things about ClickFunnels is its focus on earning money. They make it put your content up easy to produce your accounts, and begin taking payments. Additionally, it is rather easy to pick everything up–it’ll likely take you a few hours to find out most of what you require, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

A few features are very useful here. I enjoy how easy it is to replicate pages, and the fact I can save templates to be used again later. Their page builder is a feature that is fairly important, and they have pulled it. It’s an simple to use drag and drop builder, once you become used to it.

A/B testing

Constructed in A/B testing is great too. All you have to do is duplicate a page, make your changes, and choose the amounts of the visitors that you want to see variant A or B.

Great selection of Integrations

I believe ClickFunnels handles API integrations pretty nicely. Email autoresponders and payment chips aren’t too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are simple to manage.

WordPress Plugin

You will also find a handy WordPress plugin that lets you add ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress website. It saves a good deal of time and is a lot less of a hassle compared to functioning between ClickFunnels and WordPress with no plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin can be rated a solid 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin repository, using over 20,000 active installations.

All in 1

Overall, it is good to have things so concentrated: I will build my landing pages, produce forms and purchase forms, and activate emails all from one platform.

All of this really will save you time and money, resources you’d otherwise have to spend on developers, CSShosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Value

You can be sure that the lower-tiered accounts is a good investment–what you’re permitted for a StartUp account is really decent. In case you’ve got over 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, then the complete suite might not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Contact Phone Number

ClickFunnels isn’t perfect, but it does a great job of packaging great tools together and making them accessible. It arguably saves most users a headache they would have when they attempted to manage funnels another way.

Disadvantages: Clickfunnels Review

I have some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall strong, it’s quite a few places that require work.

A drawback is the price. There are only two options, at either $97 per month or $297 a month. In the grand scheme of things, this is not another investment in your business, a drawback, and like I have said, you receive a good package for this.

Lackluster Customer Service

Beyond this, client support is iffy at best. In my experience, they have been nice with fundamental questions, but if you ask them harder things, especially about more innovative features, they will not be quite beneficial.

Cult-like user base and software also reliant on Creator

This isn’t an objective criticism of the product but that I take a slight issue with their advertising that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of their funnels, it’s hard to escape the hype surrounding it. They have a marketing. But from a user experience perspective, it can get obtrusive. Once you register for the applications, you can try to examine the objective features of the software and integrate it into your own workflow, or you’ll be lost and forced to learn Russell Brunson’s advertising procedures.

This means you will end up purchasing online classes, publications, attending seminars, and getting sucked to the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k associates and many articles is composed of people bragging about how much money they made and flashing their sports cars. Though these numbers are real, the consumers give an impression that they are more concentrated on earning quick money rather than building great products and services. ClickFunnels has helped folks do great things, but it has also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, online classes, saturation of trainers and experts, and other spammy internet entrepreneurs stuff.

We know the founder is a marketing but much of the product is tied to his doctrine and his brand. As much as I appreciate the landing page builder, everything about it looks like an expansion of Brunson’s platform.

Sometimes it’s hard to not get the sensation which ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than necessary, especially when a few elements of their merchandise (i.e., client support ) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one is not on ClickFunnels however more on the neighborhood. While you’ve got the ability to customize broadly within ClickFunnels, many people use similar designs. Considering the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has resulted in a great quantity of ClickFunnel-y looks floating about. Diversity is important.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels encounter some mistakes or will return. Though this really doesn’t happen often, there’s little you can do but wait. If you are investing a great deal in advertising or driving visitors to your funnels and a ClickFunnels’ glitch brings your pages down for even a couple of hours, then you may potentially lose a good deal of cash.

In addition, it is difficult to know if your pages are working or not, unless you always wait or wait until you hear from angry clients. Barring uptime, I deal with some glitches when I clone webpages using the HTML printing option.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes often, the flow of creating new pages and funnels changes, a button will move around, pricing choices alter, etcand it seems ClickFunnels is still figuring things out.

I like consistency in my software, especially if it is a business alternative.

Too Simple

Finally, a criticism I’ve heard but do not quite agree with : it is too simple, and too pricey because of its simplicity. These criticisms tend to refer to do-it-yourself approaches that may be more economical upfront and yield more control over handling certain details. But for less experienced users who are mainly seeking efficacy and an easy to use bundle of tools, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing plans–StartUp and Etison Suite, alternatively known as ClickFunnels and Full Suite–and even StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month plus Etison comes at $297 a month. For what it’s worth, you also receive a 14 day free trial to try the service, in order you do not have to commit to an expensive program right away. If you pay annually instead of monthly, you receive two weeks free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Total Suite).

Nonetheless, a little hefty huh? Well, some might say so, and I can see why–particularly in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a comparable (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 per month. However, it’s necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to make funnels more effective, and it does a fairly good job. I personally consider it a good investment.

The principal differences between an entry level account along with a premium account are as follows: StartUp receives the main service, the funnel-builder, with some constraints on the number of pages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only some of the full list of features.

But, both programs have unlimited contacts, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B divide evaluations, and some other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite includes a complete list of features, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack quality that allows you characterize a product as a one time payment merchandise for your own payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time payments, this allows your clients pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); boundless funnels, pages, visits, along with custom domains; priority support and template requests; as well as Actionetics along with Backpack.

If you’re confused with Etison/ Total Package, don’t worry, it is confusing. This part I think ClickFunnels could really clean up. We’ll go into more detail at the section of the ClickFunnels review.

To outline the differences, StartUp basically carries the core feature of ClickFunnels, which can be called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Full Package, on the other hand, packs the foundation tool ClickFunnels with two other providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and gives you the full set of ClickFunnels features. You are able to view the full official record .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

Are ClickFunnels’ features overall? I believe they’re solid and you get everything you need. They’re largely intuitive and supply you with a good amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are all great examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them separate segments. Clickfunnels Contact Phone Number

A/B split testing is definitely, although a feature a one.

If you duplicate a page and make changes to the copy, the split test essentially enables you to select what percentages of your traffic that you want to view per page, allowing you test conversion rates very conveniently. It’s simple to use and a great function.

I also think ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for other settings, like your account details or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them restrictive (a common theme among some criticisms), but while the service is supposed to be easy to use, I thought the fundamental features were pretty good.

There are a number of kinds of available pre-made funnels, oriented to several kinds of companies, and you can of course build your own funnel from scratch too.

Actionetics and Backpack

I will only take a minute within this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. Total Suite is just three products being packed together as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What is Actionetics? Well, it’s exactly what many would call an email auto-responder or only an auto-responder, but it is a little more complex. The chief goal of Actionetics is smart analytics that lead to smart auto-responding, but the auto-responding involves snail mail as well as email, and some other goodies. Together with Actionetics includes Backpack (previously Backpack CRM), an instrument designed to make managing an affiliate program simpler and more efficient.

But are products that are separate, or these attributes? Actionetics seems a bit like ClickFunnels attempting to sell an iffy email auto-responder for me personally, but perhaps I am just cynical. In any case, it gets Full Suite a little perplexing and removes the coherency you get with the original ClickFunnels.

Here’s the Complete list of all StartUp features
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 traffic
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 habit domains
  • A/B split tests
  • Email integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All innovative funnels
  • Sales funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Unlimited members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Purchase pages
  • Upsell webpages
  • Downsale pages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 billing integration per form

You can watch the full list of features, together with Full Suite attributes, here. If you are in a situation where you can manage to try Etison for a bit and you absolutely require an efficient, easy way of increasing sales, I don’t think you’d find yourself shorted. By that same token, I really don’t think Actionetics and Backpack offer such a massive advantage that you can not do without them: for many users, just StartUp will provide a comprehensive adequate bundle.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is likely ClickFunnels’ most important attribute, so I wanted to devote special attention to it. In fact, I think a huge part of why I gave ClickFunnels a high rating has to do with it being a really solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction software and advertises its own funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it mostly for this landing page builder.

Anyhow, there’s rather an array of templates with great layouts, however as you can expect, only the templates created by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are organized by funnel kind, so poking around isn’t too hard.

You might even save certain templates and make personal page templates, and it’s rather easy to see them. As you can see, you can toggle with basic settings and open from the editor.

When you open your pages in the editor, you be working using a drag and drop builder. It is a little more complex than some other light page builders, but it’s still user friendly.

The editor uses a page structure with four chief components: sections, columns, rows, and components. Think of these components as fitting within each other (this article includes a very helpful diagram). Basically: components, columns, and rows go inside of segments. You can have several sections per page. Rows and columns go indoors sections, but columns especially enter rows. This way you can have around four, or a row with one column. Elements are the bits that go columns and also make your page interactive.

It might sound complicated, but it is rather easy to get the hang of. Everything is color-coded–for instance, in the above screenshot, the choice is a mild green box since it is a part, but if I was hovering over an element, it could be orange.

You could edit section, row, column, and so on, via the side bar. All the small details and parts of your webpage can be moved or altered. The template editor allows for plenty of customization, but provides good control too. You can do all sorts of things–mobile previews, edit colors, text, settings, and just about anything you expect. If you’re handy with code, you can also add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A little criticism I have heard (but don’t have personally) about the builder is the way grid-like it is–you need to work within these columns and rows. I personally do not believe this is a massive issue and the builder provides you enough hands without sacrificing ease of usage, but it may be worth a mention.
I like the page builder a good deal. It makes designing your landing page very easy, and it functions ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to make money online.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like advertising and marketing tools you incorporate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few different kinds of integrations you are able to enhance your ClickFunnels account: email, webinar, SMS/text, and actions. For instance, you might add MailChimp for your ClickFunnels because you enjoy MailChimp’s auto-responding applications and you’re registered with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has a few noteworthy partners you can enhance your integrations readily. Here’s a list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Continuous Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to your integrations section, you can look for these or just click on the search bar, and they’ll come up. It’s pretty self-explanatory, simply click on the one. Clickfunnels Contact Phone Number

The procedure for managing integrations can also be simple, though you may need to look at your third party program’s documentation to discover exactly what ClickFunnels needs. In general, you’ll discover the procedure pretty straightforward. Integrations are a bit more technical conceptually than a few features, like the page builder, so it’s much appreciated to have a very simple method of incorporating and managing integrations.

Related to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become incorporated and on other software platforms are only called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they get a section separate from integrations. They may also be known to ClickFunnels as charging integrations. Payment gateways are also what they sound like: they are the integrations that enable your customers to pay for your stuff. Your store will not really be a lot of store unless you are using a payment gateway.

A list of the payment gateways you can include:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Managing each of these integrations is fairly easy–as long as you are all set up with whatever tool you’re attempting to integrate with, you shouldn’t have any problems adding it to ClickFunnels. These integrations normally run and you don’t have to fret much.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by now, ClickFunnels’ main sell is its ease of use–because their advertisement says,”Don’t waste any more time with’technology men! ”’ As I’ve said in this ClickFunnels review, the most important service ClickFunnels offers is providing tools which allow the less experienced save money and time. That being the situation, evaluating ease of use is really significant.

Short answer: It’s simple to use, but you need to still have some experience.

Longer answer: For a first-timer, it may be a little overwhelming–and from first-timer, I mean new to the area of e-commerce and marketing–but the learning curve is far from impossible. For most people, I’d say that the learning curve could be only a couple hours max. If you behind, pick up Russell Brunson’s books mentioned earlier in the review.

Anyhow, ClickFunnels is certainly easier than creating funnels all on your own. They’ve a reasonable amount of documentation, and it may not be ideal, but it seems to me as if most questions should be covered, and you could always contact a customer support representative if it comes to it.

All that aside, some pieces of ClickFunnels are rather easy to get a hang of. The core characteristics of ClickFunnels–the actual funnels–are fairly simple to control. A cohesive menu makes it easy to navigate into all sections of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates into the drag and drop editor. Some settings regarding email integrations or charge processors will want a bit of comprehension, but it’s nowhere near the quantity of knowledge you would have to really code the funnels–it’s things you can figure out by Googling about or visiting the docs centre.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly simple, but it’s overall streamlined with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change matters frequently, but it probably will not be enough to hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 in simplicity of use. It unites alternative and customizability with convenience, and while I would suggest all prospective users input with a few basic technological literacy, it basically succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who is ClickFunnels for?

Who stands to benefit the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small businesses and startups (talking from experience here) will get the maximum use out of it. There are naturally variations in funnel types that appeal to some companies.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, people exclusively in e-commerce or network marketing, and even those offering B2B services would most likely be most suitable for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels in general does well with those offering more creative products or independent ventures. The pre-made funnels are oriented towards these industries: for example, if you are a gentleman, you may come across the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a good method of marketing for you. If you’re trying to center everything there would be support too. The same holds for people selling content like classes or publications.

Of course, you can always start from a blank funnel, and I don’t believe you need to decide if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based only in their default funnel kinds. If you are a smaller company, okay with the price , and you need to make your traffic work for you better, I doubt you’d be wasting your time or money using ClickFunnels. I would recommend it to anybody who would like to maintain a better landing page.

Client Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having adequate documentation on-site. I think their documentation is barely industry-standard for SaaS companies, but sufficient. Their docs page includes a series of classes. Content-wise it isn’t too shabby, although it might be simple. Clickfunnels Contact Phone Number

As the customer assistance, they have a chat feature within the dashboard once you log in for, but I am not too delighted with it. They have generally been useful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I have had more advanced questions, I have found them pretty unhelpful. With one specific HTML publishing question, they took three months to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users won’t need that sort of support and to be honest, most SaaS companies don’t offer that level of support. So I provide ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

Additionally, I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences with customer service. In cases when attributes have not worked when there were bizarre site malfunctions or as promised, customer support representatives were allegedly unresponsive or unhelpful. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, because of site error, some of his clients were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained entry to members-only content. He discovered they were unhelpful and apathetic After he contacted customer service. It might be a situation that is unlikely, but it illustrates the point.

Total Support Rating

I would not say ClickFunnels fails in customer support–I think the team largely understand that their solutions are not simple to use and/or demand tools fresh for their customers, and they have put resources in their support to make it adequate. At least questions will be answered, and they are fairly responsive. Most consumers would not state ClickFunnels has outstanding customer support, but it meets a bare minimum that makes it. We give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

What’s the conclusion? It’s good–4 out of 5 stars! It’s a legitimate contender in the marketing program space and worth trying out.

Yeah, a couple drawbacks are: you might want to look into third party options you can connect together, Should you need a more answer to your marketing needs with higher customization skills. If you are going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself and end up dealing with customer service representatives, or any glitches in the program. You could be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering all, I don’t think any of them outweigh the good landing page builder, let additional positives such as integrations that are strong, the short learning curve, and templates that are good.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its center goal –to make it simpler for you to funnel visitors and attain conversion prices. Even negative ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be helpful for entrepreneurs that are internet-exposed that are less. I am pretty sure that for the majority of potential users, the webpage builder offers option. If you are looking to get an sales alternative or landing page editor, ClickFunnels is a great tool. After all, it hasn’t attained its popularity on empty promises, and that is why I’m giving it 4/5 stars.
