What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in only 3 years it’s been, at the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the online advertising industry.” Here’s the gist of ClickFunnels: It makes it much easier for companies and entrepreneurs to market stuff online using otherwise complex marketing technology, called sales funnels (more on those in a moment ).

The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as famous as his creation, and for good reason. He has made a fortune, but not just from ClickFunnels, but other marketing experiences. He played with email marketing for a while, and began to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is the author of DotCom Secrets and Secrets his fans rave that direct and about people. You are able to pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his site here. Get Expert Secrets free on his own website Clickfunnels Autoplay Not Working

ClickFunnels started out as a means to assist Brunson and his team produce funnels more quickly for distinct ventures, as creating funnels would normally take weeks. But they soon realized their production would be helpful to other people and had good potential as a product.

Which Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Function

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let us explain what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it is a process that takes people who don’t understand you personally and turns them to customers, aka a advertising funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of steps designed to guide a web site visitor.

There’s a boring way of thinking about it. Measure 1: Imagine a funnel. Step 2: Envision this funnel is in fact a metaphor, and rather than actual ingredients to pour down the funnel, you have metaphorical ingredients you telephone internet traffic or site visitors. Your site visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your website is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, many of your visitors still doesn’t turn into clients. In a brick and mortar shop, that’s like people walking into your store but not understanding where the cash register is, so they leave the store without purchasing anything. At a physical store, you can talk your clients into purchasing something. In a digital shop, you may be a little more distant from your visitors. That is where your funnel comes in–it’s designed to attract your clients’ through principles of psychology. The funnel functions step-by-step, draw visitors in closer and closer till visitors wind up at a page.

If you think that sounds cool, you’re right–it has turned into a massive bargain for marketing. Russell Brunson didn’t only get wealthy by selling ClickFunnels technology, but by using it too.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some great news: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is meant to help save time and energyto do what otherwise demands a whole lot of competence and/or an array of third party software. In this respect, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Money

One of the greatest things about ClickFunnels is its focus on earning money. They make it put your content up quite simple to make your accounts, and start taking payments. Additionally, it is rather easy to select everything up–it’ll likely take you a few hours to figure out a lot of what you need, max.

Drag and Drop Builder

Quite a few features are extremely useful here. I enjoy how simple it’s to duplicate pages, and the fact I will save templates for use again later. Their webpage builder is a fairly important attribute, and they have pulled it. It’s an builder, As soon as you get used to it.

A/B testing

Built in A/B testing is excellent too. All you need to do is duplicate a webpage, make your adjustments, and pick the numbers of the traffic you want to view version A or B.

Great Choice of Integrations

I think ClickFunnels handles API integrations . Email autoresponders and payment chips aren’t too much of a sweat–they work reliably and are easy to control.

WordPress Plugin

You’ll also find a WordPress plugin which lets you add ClickFunnels webpages to your WordPress site. It saves a lot of time and is a lot less of a hassle than functioning between ClickFunnels and WordPress with no plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a solid 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin repository, using over 20,000 active installations.

All in 1

Overall, it’s good to get things so concentrated: I will construct my landing pages, produce forms and order forms, and trigger emails all from one platform.

All of this really does save you time and money, resources you’d otherwise have to invest on developers, CSShosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Value

You may rest assured the lower-tiered account is a great investment–what you are allowed for a StartUp account is really decent. In case you have more than 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, the full suite might not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Autoplay Not Working

ClickFunnels is not perfect, but it does a great job of packing good tools together and making them accessible. It arguably conserves most users a headache they would have if they attempted to manage funnels another manner.

Cons: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall strong, it has quite a few areas that require work.

A drawback is the price. There are two pricing alternatives, at either $97 a month or $297 per month. In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t another investment in your business a drawback, and like I have mentioned, you get a package for it.

Lackluster Customer Support

Beyond that, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they have been nice with basic queries, but if you ask them harder things, especially about more advanced features, they won’t be very beneficial.

Cult-like user base and software also reliant on Creator

This isn’t an objective criticism of their merchandise but that I take a slight issue with their advertising that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of their funnels, it is difficult to escape the hype surrounding it. They have a great marketing. But from a user experience standpoint, it can get obtrusive. Once you sign up for the applications, you can try to look at the objective features of the software and incorporate it into your own workflow, or you’re going to be lost and forced to find out Russell Brunson’s advertising procedures.

This means you’ll find yourself purchasing online courses, books, attending seminars, and getting sucked into the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k members and most posts consists of people bragging about how much money they made and flashing their sports cars. Although these numbers are real, the consumers provide an impression that they are more focused on earning quick cash rather than building great products and services. ClickFunnels has helped folks do great things, but it’s also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, on line courses, saturation of trainers and specialists, and other spammy internet marketer stuff.

So much of the product is tied to his philosophy and his own brand, although we know the founder is a marketing wizard. As much as I value the landing page builder, everything around it seems like an expansion of Brunson’s platform.

Sometimes it’s difficult not to get the sensation which ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than necessary, especially when a few elements of their product (i.e., client support ) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one isn’t on ClickFunnels but more on the community. While you’ve got the capability to customize broadly within ClickFunnels, a lot of men and women use similar layouts. Considering the prevalence of ClickFunnels, this has resulted in a great amount of ClickFunnel-y seems floating about. Diversity is important.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels will go down or encounter some mistakes. Though this doesn’t occur frequently, there is little you can do but wait patiently. If you’re investing a lot in advertising or driving visitors to your funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch brings down your pages for even a couple of hours, you can potentially lose a good deal of cash.

It’s also hard to know if your pages are functioning or not, unless you constantly check or wait till you hear from angry clients. When I replicate pages using the HTML printing alternative, barring uptime, I also deal with a few glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes frequently, the flow of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will proceed, pricing choices alter, etc–and it appears ClickFunnels is still figuring things out.

I enjoy consistency within my software, particularly if it’s a business alternative.

Too Simple

At length, a criticism I’ve heard but don’t quite agree with : it is too easy, and too expensive because of its simplicity. All these criticisms have a tendency to refer to home improvement approaches that may be cheaper upfront and yield more control over managing specific details. However, for less experienced users that are mainly seeking efficacy and an easy to use bundle of tools, I would not emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels includes two pricing programs –StartUp and Etison Suite, alternatively known as ClickFunnels and complete Suite–as well as StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month and Etison comes in at $297 per month. For what it is worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to try the support , so at least you don’t have to commit to a costly plan right away. Should you pay annually instead of monthly, you get two weeks free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Full Package ).

Nonetheless, a bit huh? Well, some would say so, and I can see why–especially in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a comparable (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 a month. However, it’s necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to earn funnels more effective, and it does a fairly great job. Personally, I consider it a good investment.

The main differences between an entry level consideration along with a premium accounts are as follows: StartUp gets the principal company, the funnel-builder, with some limitations on the number of pages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only some of the full list of features.

However, both plans have unlimited connections, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B split evaluations, and a few other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite has a complete list of features, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack quality which lets you characterize a product as a one time payment product for your payment gateways); subscription programs (another Backpack feature, but unlike one-time payments, this lets your customers pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); unlimited funnels, pages, visits, along with custom domain names; priority support and template requests; as well as Actionetics along with Backpack.

If you’re confused with Etison/ Full Suite, do not worry, it is confusing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail in the subsequent section of the ClickFunnels review.

To summarize the gaps, StartUp essentially carries the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which is called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Full Package, on the other hand, packs the foundation instrument ClickFunnels with two additional services–Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the full set of ClickFunnels features. You can view the full official record .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

How are ClickFunnels’ features complete? I think that they’re solid and you get whatever you want. They’re largely intuitive and supply you with a fantastic amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are great examples of this and are crucial functions, so I’ll be giving them different segments. Clickfunnels Autoplay Not Working

A/B split testing is definitely, although a more compact feature a one.

If you duplicate a webpage and make changes to the copy, the divide test essentially enables you to select what percentages of your traffic that you need to see per page, letting you examine conversion rates very conveniently. It is easy to use and a great function.

In addition, I think ClickFunnels is overall flexible and straightforward for other settings, such as your account details or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them prohibitive (a common theme among a few criticisms), but while the support is supposed to be easy to work with, I thought the basic features were fairly good.

There are a number of kinds of available pre-made funnels, oriented into different types of businesses, and you can of course build your own funnel from scratch also.

Actionetics and Backpack

I take a minute in this Clickfunnels Review to discuss Full Suite. In my opinion, Total Suite is just three products being packaged as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What is Actionetics? Well, it’s exactly what many would call an email auto-responder or only an auto-responder, but it’s a bit more complex. The chief goal of Actionetics is smart analytics that result in smart auto-responding, but the auto-responding entails snail mail as well as email, and a few other goodies. Along with Actionetics comes Backpack (formerly Backpack CRM), a tool supposed to create managing an affiliate program simpler and more efficient.

But are products, or these attributes? Actionetics sounds somewhat like ClickFunnels attempting to market a iffy email auto-responder for me personally, but perhaps I am just cynical. In any case, it gets Complete Suite a little confusing and eliminates the coherency you get with the original ClickFunnels.

Here’s the full list of all StartUp attributes
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 visitors
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 custom domains
  • A/B split tests
  • Mail integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All innovative funnels
  • Revenue funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Unlimited members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Order pages
  • Upsell webpages
  • Downsale webpages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 charging integration per form

You can watch the complete list of features, along with complete Package features, here. If you’re in a position where you can manage to try Etison for a little and you absolutely require an efficient, easy method of increasing sales, I don’t think you’d wind up shorted. By that same token, I really don’t think Actionetics and Backpack provide such a massive benefit that you can not do without themfor most users, just StartUp will provide a thorough adequate package.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is probably ClickFunnels’ feature, so I wished to devote exclusive attention. In fact, I think a huge part of why I gave ClickFunnels a high score has to do with it turned into a really solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page building applications and advertises its funnel approach, but truth be told, I use it mostly for this particular landing page builder.

Anyhow, there’s quite an array of templates with great designs, though as you can expect, only the templates created by ClickFunnels are liberated. Templates are coordinated by funnel kind, therefore poking around is not too hard.

You might even save certain templates and make personal page templates, and it’s pretty simple to find them. As you can see, it is possible to toggle with settings that are fundamental and open in the editor.

You will essentially be working with a drag and drop builder once your pages start in the editor. It is a little more complex than some other light page builders, but it’s still easy to use.

The editor utilizes a webpage structure with four main components: sections, columns, rows, and components. Think of these parts as fitting within each other (this article has a helpful diagram). Fundamentally: columns, rows, and elements go inside of sections. You can have several sections per page. Rows and columns move indoors sections, but columns especially enter rows. This way you may have around four, or a row with a single column. Elements are the bits that make your page interactive to its visitors and go inside columns.

It might sound complicated, but it’s pretty simple to get the hang of. Everything is color-coded–for example, from the above screenshot, the selection is a mild green box since it is a section, however when I was hovering over a component, it would be orange.

You can even edit section, row, column, and so on, via the side bar. All the details and parts of your webpage can be moved or altered. The template editor allows for plenty of customization, but provides control that is good also. You can do all sorts of things–cellular previews, edit colours, text, settings, and just about anything you anticipate. If you’re handy with code, then you can also add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A little criticism I have heard (but do not have ) on the builder is the way grid-like it’s –you have to work within these rows and columns. I personally do not believe this is a huge problem and the builder gives you enough hands without sacrificing ease of usage, but it may be worth a mention.
I like the webpage builder a lot. It makes designing your landing page quite simple, and it functions ClickFunnels’ goal: to make it easier for you to make money online.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like: other advertising and marketing tools you incorporate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a couple of distinct types of integrations you can enhance your ClickFunnels accounts: email, webinar, SMS/text, and actions. By way of example, you may add MailChimp to your ClickFunnels because you enjoy MailChimp’s auto-responding software and you’re enrolled with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has quite a few partners you may add to your integrations readily. Here’s a Complete list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Constant Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to your integrations segment, you can look for these or simply click the search bar, and they’ll come up. It, simply click the one you want and insert it. Clickfunnels Autoplay Not Working

The process for managing integrations can also be straightforward, though you may need to check your third party program’s documentation to find precisely what ClickFunnels needs. In general, you’ll discover the procedure simple. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few features, like the page builder, so it’s much appreciated to have a very simple method of adding and handling integrations.

Connected to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become integrated and on other applications platforms are only called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a section different from integrations. They may also be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways will also be what they sound like: they are the integrations that allow your customers to pay for your stuff. Your shop will not really be much of a shop unless you’re using a payment gateway.

A listing of the payment gateways you can include:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Managing each these integrations is pretty simple –so long as you are all set up with whatever tool you are trying to integrate with, you shouldn’t have any problems adding it into ClickFunnels. These integrations usually operate and you don’t have to fret much.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

If you haven’t picked it up by now, ClickFunnels’ main sell is its ease of usage –as their ad says,”Don’t waste any more time with’tech guys! ”’ As I’ve stated in this ClickFunnels review, the main ceremony ClickFunnels offers is providing tools which allow the less experienced to save time and money. That being the situation, assessing ease of usage is really significant.

Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you should still have some experience.

Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it may be a bit overwhelming–and by first-timer, I mean new to the area of e-commerce and promotion –but the learning curve is far from impossible. For most people, I would say that the learning curve could be just a few hours max. If you’re actually behind, pick up the books mentioned previously in the review of Russell Brunson.

Anyway, ClickFunnels is certainly simpler than creating funnels all on your own. They’ve a fair amount of documentation, and it may not be ideal, but it seems to me like most questions must be covered, and you could always contact a customer support representative if it has to do with it.

All that aside, some parts of ClickFunnels are rather easy to get a hang . The center characteristics of ClickFunnels–the actual funnels–are fairly easy to manage. A cohesive menu makes it easy to navigate to all parts of your funnel managing process, from picking templates into the drag and drop editor. Some settings involving email integrations or charge processors will want a little bit of understanding, but it’s nowhere close to the amount of knowledge you would need to actually code the funnels–it is things you’ll be able to figure out by Googling around or visiting the docs centre.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly simple, but it’s overall compact with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change matters often, but it likely will not be sufficient to significantly hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 in simplicity of use. It unites choice and customizability with ease, and while I would suggest all prospective users input with a few simple technological literacy, it basically succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who’s ClickFunnels for?

Who stands to reap the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small companies and startups (speaking from experience ) will get the maximum use from it. There are variations in funnel types that appeal to a businesses.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, people exclusively in e-commerce or community marketing, and even those offering B2B services would most likely be most suitable for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels in general does ventures or innovative products. The pre-made funnels are oriented towards those industries: for example, if you are a gentleman, you may find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a fantastic method of marketing for you. If you’re attempting to center everything around yourself and your brand, there could be support also. The same goes for people selling content such as publications or courses.

Obviously, you can always start from a sterile funnel, and I do not think you should decide if ClickFunnels is right for you or not based purely in their default funnel types. If you are a smaller company, alright with the price , and you have to produce your visitors work for you better, I doubt you would be wasting your money or time with ClickFunnels. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to maintain a better landing page.

Customer Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for getting decent documentation on-site. I believe their documentation is just for SaaS companies, but adequate. Their page has a series of classes, each with their own articles. It might be simple, but content-wise it’s not too shabby. Clickfunnels Autoplay Not Working

As for the direct customer service, they have a feature inside the dashboard once you log into, but I am not pleased by it. They’ve generally been helpful for easy questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I have had more complex questions, I’ve found them pretty unhelpful. With one HTML publishing question, they took to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users will not need that kind of support and to be honest SaaS companies don’t provide that degree of support. So I give ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

I’ve discovered a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. Notably, in cases when features haven’t worked if there were site malfunctions or as promised, client service reps were either unhelpful or unresponsive. One notorious reviewer in particular recounts how, because of site error, some of his clients were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained access to members-only content. He discovered that they were unhelpful and apathetic, After he contacted customer service. It might be a situation, but it illustrates the point.

Overall Support Rating

I wouldn’t say ClickFunnels fails in client support–I think that the team understand that their services are not simple to use and/or involve tools new to their customers, and they have put resources into their support to make it adequate. At least queries will be answered, and they’re fairly responsive. Perhaps most consumers would not say ClickFunnels has customer support, but it mostly meets. Within this category, we give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

So, what’s the conclusion that is overarching? It’s fine –4 out of 5 stars! It is a legitimate competitor in the advertising program space and worth trying out.

Yeah, a few drawbacks are: If you want a more answer to your marketing needs with customization skills that are higher, you might want to look. If you’re going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself and end up dealing with unhelpful customer service representatives, or some glitches in the program. You could also be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering everything, I don’t think any of these outweigh the good landing page builder, let alone advantages such as strong integrations, the learning curve, and good templates.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its center objective–to make it simpler for you to funnel traffic and attain higher conversion prices. Even negative ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be pretty useful for less entrepreneurs that are internet-exposed. I am pretty sure that for the vast majority of prospective users, the page builder provides option. If you’re looking to get a simple but solid sales alternative or landing page editor, then ClickFunnels is a superb tool. On empty promises, it hasn’t reached its popularity In the end, and that’s why I’m giving 4/5 stars to it.
