What’s ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in just 3 years it’s been, at the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet marketing industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for companies and entrepreneurs to sell stuff online using differently complex advertising technologies, known as sales funnels (more about those in a second).

The creator of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned as his creation, and for good reason. He’s made a fortune, but not just from ClickFunnels, but other marketing adventures. He played around with email marketing for a while, and began to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is Expert Secrets and the author of DotCom Secrets his lovers rave about and that guide people. You are able to pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his website here. Get Expert Secrets free on his own website Clickfunnels Ask Campaign Template

ClickFunnels started out as a way to assist Brunson and his staff produce funnels more quickly for distinct ventures, as creating funnels would usually take weeks. However, they soon realized their creation would be helpful to other people and had great potential as a commodity.

Which Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Function

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let us clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it’s a process that takes people who do not know you and turns them to clients, aka a marketing funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of steps designed to guide a website visitor to the checkout page.

There is a way of considering it. Measure 1: Imagine that a funnel. Measure 2: Imagine this funnel is actually a metaphor, and rather than actual ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients you telephone web traffic or site visitors. Your website visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your website is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, that still doesn’t turn many of your visitors into customers. In a physical store, that’s like people walking in to your shop but not knowing where the cash register is, so that they leave the store without buying anything. You can talk your clients. In a digital shop, you could be a bit more remote from your customers. This is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to appeal to your clients’ through fundamentals of psychology. The funnel works step-by-step, draw traffic in closer and closer until visitors end up in a page.

You are correct if you feel that sounds cool –it’s become a huge deal for marketing. Russell Brunson did get wealthy by promoting ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some good information: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is intended to save you time and energyto do exactly what demands a whole lot of technological proficiency and/or an array of third party software. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Cash

One of the greatest things about ClickFunnels is its focus on earning the consumer money. They make it put your content up, simple to produce your account, and begin taking payments. Additionally, it is rather easy to select everything up–it’ll likely take you a few hours to figure out most of what you need, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

Quite a few features are extremely useful here. I enjoy how simple it’s to duplicate pages, and also the fact I will save templates for use again later. Their webpage builder is a pretty important attribute, and they have pulled it off well. It’s an builder once you get accustomed to it.

A/B analyzing

Constructed in A/B testing is great. All you have to do is replicate a page, make your changes, and choose the amounts of the visitors you wish to see version A or B.

Great Choice of Integrations

I believe ClickFunnels manages API integrations pretty nicely. Email autoresponders and payment processors aren’t too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are simple to manage.

WordPress Plugin

You will also find a handy WordPress plugin which allows you insert ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress site. It saves a good deal of time and is a lot less of a hassle compared to working between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a strong 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin repository, using over 20,000 active installations.

All in one

In general, it is great to have things so centralized: I can construct my landing pages, create forms and purchase forms, and activate emails all from 1 platform.

All of this really will save you time and money, resources you’d otherwise have to spend on programmers, CSShosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Worth

You may be sure the lower-tiered accounts is a great investment–what you’re permitted for a StartUp accounts is really decent. If you have more than 20,000 visitors and want over 100 pages, then the complete package may not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Ask Campaign Template

ClickFunnels is not perfect, but it does a great job of packing great tools together and making them accessible. It arguably saves most users a headache they’d have when they tried to handle funnels another way.

Disadvantages: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: even though ClickFunnels is overall strong, it has a number of areas that need work.

A little drawback is the cost. There are just two pricing alternatives, at $97 a month or $297 per month. From the grand scheme of things, this isn’t a massive drawback another investment in your business, and like I’ve mentioned, you get a fantastic package for it.

Lackluster Client Service

Beyond this, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they’ve been nice with basic questions, but if you ask them more difficult things, especially about more innovative features, they won’t be quite helpful.

Cult-like user base and applications too reliant on Creator

This isn’t an objective criticism of their product but I take a small problem with their advertising that I believe is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of their funnels, it’s hard to escape the hype. They have a great marketing. But from a user experience standpoint, it can get obtrusive. Once you register for the software, you may attempt to look at the purpose features of this software and incorporate it in your own workflow, or you’re going to be lost and forced to find out Russell Brunson’s advertising procedures.

This means you’ll end up purchasing online courses, publications, attending seminars, and getting sucked to the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over associates and many articles consists of people bragging about how much money they made and flashing their sports cars. Although these numbers are real, the users give an impression that they’re more concentrated on making quick cash instead of building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped folks do good things, but it has also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, on line classes, saturation of trainers and experts, along with other spammy internet entrepreneurs stuff.

A lot of this item is tied to his doctrine and his own brand, although we know the founder is a marketing wizard. As much as I appreciate the landing page builder, everything around it looks to be an extension of Brunson’s platform.

Sometimes it’s difficult not to get the feeling that ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than necessary, particularly when some aspects of their product (i.e., client support ) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one isn’t on ClickFunnels but more about the community. As you have the capability to customize extensively within ClickFunnels, many people use layouts. Taking into consideration the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has led to a large quantity of ClickFunnel-y looks floating around. Diversity is important.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels encounter some mistakes or will return. Though this really doesn’t occur often, there is little you can do but wait patiently. If you are investing a great deal in advertising or driving visitors to your funnels and a ClickFunnels’ glitch brings your pages down for even a couple of hours, then you may potentially lose a good deal of cash.

It’s also difficult to know when your pages are working or not, unless you always check or wait until you hear from angry customers. When I clone webpages using the HTML publishing alternative barring uptime, I also deal with some glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes frequently, the stream of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will proceed, pricing options alter, etcand it appears ClickFunnels remains figuring things out.

I like consistency within my applications if it is a business solution.

Too Simple

Finally, a criticism I have heard but don’t quite agree with personally: it’s too simple, and too expensive for its simplicity. All these criticisms have a tendency to refer to home improvement approaches which may be cheaper upfront and yield more control over handling specific details. But for less experienced users who are mainly seeking efficiency and an simple to use package of resources, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing programs –StartUp and Etison Suite, rather known as ClickFunnels and complete Suite–as well as StartUp begins on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 per month and Etison comes at $297 per month. For what it’s worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to test the service, so at least you don’t need to commit to a costly program right away. If you pay annually instead of monthly, you get two months free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Total Package ).

Nonetheless, a bit huh? Well, some would say , and I could see why–particularly if you compare to LeadPages, a similar (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service which starts at $25 per month. But it is necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ main service is to make funnels more efficient, and it does a pretty good job. Personally, I consider it a fantastic investment.

The principal differences between an entry level account along with a premium account are as follows: StartUp gets the main company, the funnel-builder, with some limitations on the number of webpages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only some of the complete list of features.

But, both programs have unlimited connections, unlimited members, all advanced funnels, A/B split tests, and some other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite has a complete list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this can be a Backpack feature which lets you describe a product as a one-time payment product for your payment gateways); subscription programs (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time payments, this lets your customers pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); unlimited funnels, pages, visits, along with custom domain names; priority support and template asks; as well as Actionetics along with Backpack.

If you’re confused with Etison/ Total Package, don’t worry, it is perplexing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail in the following section of this ClickFunnels review.

To outline the differences, StartUp essentially carries the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which is called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Total Suite, on the other hand, packages the cornerstone instrument ClickFunnels with two additional services–Actionetics and Backpack–and gives you the complete set of ClickFunnels attributes. You are able to watch the complete official record .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

How are ClickFunnels’ attributes complete? I think that they’re solid and you get whatever you need. They’re largely intuitive and give you a fantastic amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are good examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them different sections. Clickfunnels Ask Campaign Template

A/B split testing is a smaller feature, but definitely a one.

If you duplicate a page and make changes to the backup, the split test basically enables you to select what percentages of your traffic that you need to see per page, letting you examine conversion rates very conveniently. It is simple to use and a function.

In addition, I believe ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for other settings, such as your account information or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them restrictive (a frequent theme among some criticisms), but while the service is supposed to be simple to work with, I thought the basic features were pretty great.

There are quite a few kinds of accessible pre-made funnels, oriented to several kinds of companies, and also you can of course build your personal funnel from scratch also.

Actionetics and Backpack

I’ll only have a moment within this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. In my opinion, Full Suite is three products being packaged together as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What is Actionetics? Well, it’s what many would call an e-mail or just an auto-responder, but it is a bit more complex. The main objective of Actionetics is intelligent analytics which result in smart auto-responding, but the auto-responding entails snail mail as well as email, and a few other goodies. Along with Actionetics comes Backpack (formerly Backpack CRM), an instrument supposed to make managing an affiliate system simpler and more effective.

However, are products that are different, or these features? Actionetics sounds a bit like ClickFunnels trying to sell an iffy email auto-responder to me personally, but maybe I am just cynical. In any case, it makes Complete Suite a bit perplexing and eliminates the coherency you get with the original ClickFunnels.

Here’s the Complete list of all StartUp features
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 traffic
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 habit domains
  • A/B split evaluations
  • Mail integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All innovative funnels
  • Sales funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Unlimited members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Purchase pages
  • Upsell pages
  • Downsale webpages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 charging integration per type

You may watch the full list of features, along with Full Package features, here. If you are in a situation where you can manage to try Etison for a bit and you also absolutely need an efficient, easy method of increasing sales, I do not believe you would find yourself shorted. By that same token, I don’t think Actionetics and Backpack offer such a huge advantage that you can’t do without them: for many users, just StartUp will offer a comprehensive enough package.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is likely ClickFunnels’ most important feature, so I wished to devote exclusive attention. In reality, I think a huge portion of why I gave ClickFunnels a top rating has to do with it being a really good landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction applications and advertises its funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it largely with this particular landing page builder.

Anyway, there is quite an array of templates with good layouts, however as you can expect, only the templates created by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are organized by funnel type, therefore poking around isn’t too hard.

You can even save certain templates and create own page templates, and it’s pretty easy to see them. As you can see, you can toggle with settings that are basic and open in the editor.

Once your pages start in the editor, you’ll basically be working using a drag and drop builder. It is a bit more complex than some other light page builders, but it’s still easy to use.

The editor utilizes a webpage structure with four main parts: sections, rows, columns, and components. Consider these parts as fitting inside each other (this informative article includes a very helpful diagram). Fundamentally: columns, rows, and elements go inside of segments. You can have several segments per page. Rows and columns go inside sections, but columns specifically go into rows. This way you can have a row with one column, or around four. Elements are the bits that go columns and also make your page interactive.

It may sound complicated, but it is pretty easy to get the hang . Everything is color-coded–for example, from the above screenshot, the choice is a mild green box because it’s a part, however when I had been hovering over an element, it could be orange.

You can even edit section, row, column, and so on, through the side bar. All the details and parts of your webpage can be moved or altered. The editor allows for lots of customization, but provides control . You can do all sorts of things–mobile previews, edit colours, text, configurations, and nearly anything you anticipate. If you’re handy with code, you may also add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A small criticism I have heard (but don’t have ) about the builder is the way grid-like it is–you have to work within those rows and columns. I personally don’t think this is a massive problem and the builder gives you sufficient hands without sacrificing ease of use, but it may be worth a mention.
I enjoy the webpage builder a good deal. It makes designing your landing page very easy, and it functions ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to earn money online.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like advertising and marketing tools you incorporate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few different types of integrations you are able to enhance your ClickFunnels accounts: email, webinar, SMS/text, and actions. For example, you may add MailChimp for your ClickFunnels because you enjoy MailChimp’s auto-responding software and you’re enrolled with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has quite a few partners you can add to your integrations easily. Here’s a list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Constant Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to a integrations segment, you can search for these or just click on the search bar, and they will come up. It, just click the one. Clickfunnels Ask Campaign Template

The process for handling integrations is also straightforward, though you may need to look at your third party software’s documentation to find precisely what ClickFunnels needs. You’ll find the procedure pretty straightforward. Integrations are a bit more technical conceptually than a few attributes, such as the page builder, so it’s much appreciated to have an extremely simple method of adding and managing integrations.

Connected to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become incorporated and on other software platforms are just called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a section different from integrations. They might also be known to ClickFunnels as charging integrations. Payment gateways are also the things they sound like: they’re the integrations that enable your clients to pay for your stuff. Your shop will not really be a lot of store unless you’re using a payment gateway.

A listing of the payment gateways you can include:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Handling all these integrations is fairly easy–as long as you’re all set up using whatever tool you are trying to incorporate with, you should not have any problems adding it to ClickFunnels. These integrations operate and you don’t need to fret much about them.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ most important market is its simplicity of use–as their ad says,”Do not waste any more time with’technology men! ”’ As I’ve said in this ClickFunnels review, the most important service ClickFunnels provides is providing tools that allow the less experienced to save money and time. That being the situation, evaluating ease of usage is really important.

Short answer: It’s simple to use, but you should still have some expertise.

Longer answer: For a first-timer, it might be a bit overwhelming–and from first-timer, I mean new to the world of e-commerce and marketing–but the learning curve is far from impossible. For many people, I’d say that the learning curve would be just a few hours max. If you are really behind, pick up the books mentioned in the review of Russell Brunson.

Anyway, ClickFunnels is certainly easier than creating funnels on your own. They have a fair amount of documentation, and it may not be ideal, but it appears to me as if most queries should be covered, and you can always contact a customer support representative if it has to do with it.

All that aside, some pieces of ClickFunnels are pretty easy to get a hang . The center characteristics of ClickFunnels–that the actual funnels–are fairly easy to manage. A cohesive menu makes it easy to navigate into all parts of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates to the drag and drop editor. Some settings regarding email integrations or charge processors will require a little bit of understanding, but it’s nowhere close to the quantity of knowledge you would have to actually code the funnels–it is stuff you can figure out by Googling around or visiting the docs center.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly simple, but it’s overall compact with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things often, but it likely won’t be sufficient to significantly hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 at simplicity of use. It combines alternative and customizability with ease, and while I would suggest all prospective users enter with some basic technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who’s ClickFunnels for?

Who stands to reap the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small businesses and startups (talking from experience here) will find the maximum use from it. There are naturally variations in funnel kinds that appeal to a companies over others.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, individuals exclusively in e-commerce or network marketing, and even those offering B2B services would probably be most fit for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels generally does innovative products or ventures that are individual. The pre-made funnels are oriented towards these industries: for example, if you are a gentleman, you may find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a fantastic way of marketing for you. If you are trying to center everything there would be good support too. The same holds for people selling content like courses or publications.

Obviously, you can always start from a blank funnel, and I do not think you should decide if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based purely on their default funnel kinds. If you are a smaller company, okay with the price tag, and you have to make your visitors work for you , I doubt you’d be wasting your money or time with ClickFunnels. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to maintain a much better landing page.

Customer Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having adequate documentation on-site. I believe their documentation is still adequate, although only for SaaS companies. Their docs page includes a collection of categories, each with their own posts. It might be easy, but it’s not too shabby. Clickfunnels Ask Campaign Template

As once you log in for the customer assistance that is direct, they’ve a chat feature within the dashboard, but I’m not delighted by it. They have been useful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I have had more complex questions, I have found them pretty unhelpful. With one HTML publishing query, they required three months to return to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users will not need that sort of support and to be honest SaaS businesses don’t provide that degree of support. So I give ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

Furthermore, I’ve discovered a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. Notably, in instances when attributes have not worked if there were weird site malfunctions or as promised, client service reps were allegedly unresponsive or unhelpful. One notorious reviewer particularly recounts how, because of site error, a number of his clients were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained access to members-only content. When he contacted customer support, he found that they were unhelpful and apathetic. It might be a weird, unlikely scenario, however it illustrates the point.

Overall Support Rating

I wouldn’t say ClickFunnels fails in client support–I think the team understand that their services are not absolutely simple to use and/or demand tools fresh to their customers, and they’ve put enough resources in their support to make it adequate. At least queries will be answered, and they are pretty responsive. Most consumers would not state ClickFunnels has customer support, but it meets. In this class, we give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

So, what’s the conclusion? It is fine –4 out of 5 stars! It is a legitimate contender in the marketing program space and worth trying out.

Yeah, there are a few drawbacks: Should you need a more solution to your marketing needs with customization abilities that are greater, you may want to look into third party options you can connect together. If you are going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself and end up dealing with customer service representatives, or some glitches in the program. You could be annoyed by their self-promotion.

But you know what? Considering all, I don’t think any of them outweigh the solid landing page builder, let additional positives like integrations that are strong, the learning curve, and templates that are good.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its core goal –to make it simpler for you to funnel visitors and attain conversion prices. Even unwanted ClickFunnels reviews acknowledge it can be helpful for less entrepreneurs. I am pretty sure that for the majority of users, enough choice is offered by the page builder. If you are looking to get an easy but powerful sales solution or landing page editor, then ClickFunnels is a great tool. On empty promises, it hasn’t reached its popularity after all, and that is why I’m giving 4/5 celebrities to it.
