ClickFunnels has made a pretty major name for itself because it started, getting one of the largest marketing SaaS (Software as a Service) businesses round. I suppose it’s no surprise–ClickFunnels is all about earning its users money. Importantly, it’s about giving businesses software that helps their website visitors turn into customers. It is no wonder ClickFunnels has grown in a short time period.

Does this mean it is well worth it, although there is no denying it’s popular? How much can we trust the crowd with this one? In this ClickFunnels review, I’ll undergo the gist of ClickFunnels–what it really is, the positives and the negatives, the features, customer service, and so forth. I’m basing this review on my experience using ClickFunnels’ StartUp plan, which includes the core ClickFunnels attributes and plenty of other bells and whistles. As not every user will concur with me on the verdict, I provide a nod towards other reviews I’ve seen.

Irrespective of whether you decide to use it or not, it is an important participant anyone in e-commerce and online advertising should be familiar with. What’s our evaluation, before you jump in? What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in only 3 years it has been, at the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet marketing industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for companies and entrepreneurs to market things online using differently complex advertising technologies, called sales funnels (more about those in a moment ).

The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned as his creation, and for good reason. He’s made a fortune, not just from ClickFunnels, but advertising adventures. He played around with email advertising for a while, and started to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is the author of DotCom Secrets and Secrets, two novels that his lovers rave about and that guide people. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his website here. Get Expert Secrets free on his website here. Clickfunnels Activecampaign Zapier

ClickFunnels started out as a means to assist Brunson and his team produce funnels more rapidly for different ventures, as creating funnels would usually take months. However, they had good potential as a product and soon realized their production would be useful to others.

What Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s explain what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it’s a process that takes individuals who do not know you and turns them into customers, aka a marketing funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a set of measures developed to guide a website visitor to the checkout page.

There is a way of considering it. Step 1: Imagine that a funnel. Step 2: Envision this funnel is actually a metaphor, and instead of real ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients you telephone internet traffic or site visitors. Your website visitors are looking around, checking out things. Your site is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, that doesn’t turn many of your visitors . In a physical shop, that is like people walking in to your shop but not knowing where the cash register is, so they leave the shop without purchasing anything. At a physical store, you can speak your customers. In a digital store, you may be a little more remote from the visitors. This is where your funnel comes in–it is designed to appeal to your customers’ through fundamentals of psychology. The funnel functions incremental, draw traffic in closer and closer until people wind up at a payment page.

You’re correct, if you feel that sounds cool –it’s become a massive deal for internet marketing. Russell Brunson did not only get wealthy by promoting ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I’ve got some great information: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is meant to help save time and energyto do what otherwise demands a lot of competence and/or an array of third party applications. In this respect, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Money

Among the greatest things about ClickFunnels is its focus on making money for your consumer. They make it put your content up very simple to make your account, and begin taking payments. Plus, it’s rather easy to select everything up–it will probably take you a few hours to figure out a lot of what you need, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

Quite a few features are very useful here. I enjoy how easy it’s to replicate pages, and the fact I can save templates to be used again later. Their page builder is a attribute, and they have pulled it off well. Once you become accustomed to it, it’s an simple to use drag and drop builder.

A/B analyzing

Constructed in A/B testing is excellent too. All you need to do is replicate a page, make your adjustments, and choose the amounts of the visitors that you wish to see version A or B.

Great selection of Integrations

I believe ClickFunnels handles API integrations pretty well. Email autoresponders and payment chips are not too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are simple to manage.

WordPress Plugin

You will also find a handy WordPress plugin which allows you add ClickFunnels webpages to your WordPress site. It saves a lot of time and is much less of a hassle compared to functioning between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a solid 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin , with over 20,000 active setups.

All in one

In general, it’s good to have things so concentrated: I can construct my landing pages, create forms and purchase forms, and trigger emails all from one platform.

All this really will save you time and money, resources you would otherwise need to invest on programmers, CSShosting configurations, and so on.

Reasonable Worth

You may rest assured the lower-tiered account is a good investment–what you’re permitted for a StartUp account is pretty decent. In case you have over 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, then the full suite may not be too much to ask. Clickfunnels Activecampaign Zapier

ClickFunnels is not perfect, but it does a fantastic job of packing great tools together and making them more accessible. It arguably conserves most users a hassle they would have if they tried to handle funnels another way.

Cons: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: even though ClickFunnels is overall powerful, it has quite a few areas that need work.

Overpriced?

A little drawback is the price. There are two pricing alternatives, at either $97 a month or $297 per month. From the grand scheme of things, this isn’t a drawback, another investment in your organization, and like I have said, you get a package for this.

Lackluster Client Support

Beyond that, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they’ve been nice with basic queries, but if you ask them more difficult things, particularly about more advanced features, they will not be quite beneficial.

Cult-like user base and software also reliant on Creator

This is not an objective criticism of their product but that I take a small problem with their marketing that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it is difficult to escape the hype. They’ve a fantastic marketing for certain. However, from a user experience standpoint, it can acquire obtrusive. Once you sign up for the applications, you may attempt to look at the purpose features of this software and integrate it into your own workflow, or you’ll be lost and made to find out Russell Brunson’s marketing procedures.

This means you will find yourself purchasing online classes, books, attending conventions, and getting sucked to the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k associates and most posts is composed of people bragging about how much money they created and flashing their sport cars. Though these numbers are real, the users provide an impression that they are more concentrated on making quick money rather than building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped people do good things, but it’s also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, online classes, saturation of trainers and experts, and other spammy online entrepreneurs stuff.

We all know the founder is a marketing magician, but so much of the item is tied to his brand and his philosophy. As much as I appreciate the landing page builder, everything around it looks to be an expansion of Brunson’s platform.

At times it’s difficult to not get the feeling that ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than necessary, particularly when a few elements of their product (i.e., client service) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one isn’t on ClickFunnels however more on the community. As you’ve got the ability to personalize extensively within ClickFunnels, a lot of men and women use layouts. Considering the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has resulted in a large quantity of ClickFunnel-y looks. Diversity is important.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels experience some mistakes or will go down. Though this really doesn’t happen often, there is little you can do but wait. If you’re investing a great deal in advertising or driving traffic to your own funnels and a ClickFunnels’ glitch attracts down your pages for even a few hours, then you may potentially lose a good deal of cash.

It’s also hard to know when your pages are functioning or not, unless you constantly check or wait until you hear from angry customers. Barring uptime, I also deal with some glitches when I clone pages using the HTML printing alternative.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes often, the stream of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will proceed, pricing options change, etc–and it appears ClickFunnels is still figuring out things.

I like consistency within my software if it is a business alternative.

Too Simple

At length, a criticism I have heard but do not quite agree with : it’s too easy, and too pricey for its simplicity. All these criticisms tend to refer to home improvement approaches that may be cheaper upfront and yield more control over handling certain details. However, for less experienced users that are mainly seeking efficiency and an easy to use bundle of resources, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing programs –StartUp and Etison Suite, alternatively known as ClickFunnels and Full Suite–as well as StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month and Etison comes at $297 a month. For what it’s worth, you also get a 14 day free trial to try the support , so at least you don’t have to commit to an expensive program right away. Should you pay annually rather than monthly, you receive two weeks free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Total Suite).

Nonetheless, a little huh? Well, some might say so, and that I could see why–especially in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a comparable (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 per month. But it is necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to earn funnels more effective, and it does a pretty good job. I personally consider it a good investment.

The principal differences between an entry level consideration along with a premium account are as follows: StartUp receives the principal company, the funnel-builder, with a few limitations on the number of pages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and just some of the complete list of features.

However, both plans have unlimited connections, unlimited members, all complex funnels, A/B split tests, and some other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite has a full list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this is a Backpack quality which allows you describe a product as a one-time payment merchandise for your own payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack feature, but unlike one-time payments, this allows your clients pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); boundless funnels, pages, visits, along with spiritual domains; priority support and template asks; also as Actionetics along with Backpack.

If you are confused with Etison/ Full Package, do not worry, it is perplexing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could really clean up. We’ll go into more detail at the section of the ClickFunnels review.

To outline the gaps, StartUp basically carries the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which is called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Full Package, on the other hand, packs the foundation instrument ClickFunnels with two other services–Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the full set of ClickFunnels features. You can view the full official list here.

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

Are ClickFunnels’ features complete? I believe they’re strong and you get whatever you need. They’re largely intuitive and supply you with a good amount of control. The template editor and integration management system are all great examples of this and are very important functions, so I will be giving them separate segments. Clickfunnels Activecampaign Zapier

A/B split testing is a more compact feature, but unquestionably a one.

If you duplicate a page and make changes to the copy, the divide test basically lets you choose what percentages of the traffic you need to view per page, letting you test conversion rates very conveniently. It is a function and very easy to use.

I also think ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for different settings, like your account information or integrations. Maybe very tech literate people would find them restrictive (a frequent theme among a few criticisms), but while the service is supposed to be easy to work with, I thought the fundamental features were pretty great.

There are quite a few kinds of accessible pre-made funnels, oriented into different kinds of companies, and you can obviously build your own funnel from scratch too.

Actionetics and Backpack

I will only take a moment within this Clickfunnels Review to talk about Full Suite. Total Suite is three products being packaged together as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What’s Actionetics? Well, it’s what many would call an email auto-responder or just an auto-responder, but it is a bit more complicated. The main goal of Actionetics is intelligent analytics which lead to clever auto-responding, but the auto-responding entails snail mail in addition to email, and some other goodies. Along with Actionetics includes Backpack (formerly Backpack CRM), an instrument designed to create managing an affiliate program easier and more efficient.

But are these features, or products? Actionetics seems somewhat like ClickFunnels trying to sell an iffy email auto-responder to me personally, but perhaps I am just cynical. Whatever the case, it gets Full Suite a bit perplexing and removes the coherency you get with the original ClickFunnels.

Here is the Complete list of StartUp attributes
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 traffic
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 custom domains
  • A/B split evaluations
  • Email integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All advanced funnels
  • Revenue funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Unlimited members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Order pages
  • Upsell pages
  • Downsale webpages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 billing integration per type

You may watch the full list of features, together with Full Package attributes, here. If you’re in a situation where you are able to afford to try out Etison for a little and you also absolutely need an efficient, easy way of increasing sales, I do not believe you’d wind up shorted. By that exact same token, I really don’t believe Actionetics and Backpack provide such a huge advantage that you can not do without themfor most users, just StartUp will provide a comprehensive adequate bundle.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is ClickFunnels’ attribute, so I wanted to devote special attention. In reality, I think a large portion of why I gave ClickFunnels a high rating has to do with it turned into a very solid landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction applications and advertises its funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it mostly with this landing page builder.

Anyway, there’s rather a range of templates with great layouts, however as you may expect, only the templates made by ClickFunnels are liberated. Templates are coordinated by funnel type, therefore poking around is not too hard.

You might even save certain templates and also create personal page templates, and it is rather easy to see them. As you can see, you open in the editor and can toggle with basic settings.

Once you open your pages in the editor, you be working with a drag and drop builder. It’s a bit more complicated than some other mild page builders, but it’s still easy to use.

The editor uses a page structure with four main components: sections, rows, columns, and elements. Think of these parts as fitting within every other (this informative article has a helpful diagram). Basically: columns, rows, and elements go inside of segments. You can have several sections per page. Rows and columns go inside sections, but columns especially enter rows. This way you can have up to four, or a row with one column. Elements are the lively bits that also make your page interactive and go inside columns.

It might sound complicated, but it’s rather simple to get the hang . What’s color-coded–for example, in the above screenshot, the choice is a mild green box because it’s a section, however when I was hovering over an element, it would be orange.

You can even edit section, row, column, and so on, via the side bar. Parts of your webpage and all the details can be moved or altered. The editor allows for plenty of customization, but provides good control too. You can do a variety of things–cellular previews, edit colours, text, configurations, and nearly anything you anticipate. If you’re handy with code, you can even add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A little criticism I’ve heard (but don’t have ) about the builder is how grid-like it’s –you need to work within those rows and columns. I personally don’t think this is a huge issue and the builder provides you enough hands without sacrificing ease of use, but it may be worth a mention.
Overall, I enjoy the page builder a lot. It makes designing your landing page very simple, and it functions ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to earn money on the web.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like advertising and marketing tools you integrate in the ClickFunnels software. There are a couple of different types of integrations you can enhance your ClickFunnels accounts: email, webinar, SMS/text, and activities. For example, you might add MailChimp to your ClickFunnels because you like MailChimp’s auto-responding software and you are enrolled with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has a few partners you may add to your integrations readily. Here’s a Complete list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Continuous Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to your integrations segment, you can look for these or just click the search bar, and they’ll come up. It, just click on the one. Clickfunnels Activecampaign Zapier

The procedure for handling integrations is also straightforward, though you might need to look at your third party program’s documentation to find exactly what ClickFunnels needs. You’ll find the process pretty simple. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few attributes, like the page builder, so it is much appreciated to have an extremely simple way of adding and handling integrations.

Connected to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become incorporated and on other applications platforms are just called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a part different from integrations. They might also be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways are also the things they sound like: they’re the integrations that enable your clients to pay for your stuff. Your shop won’t really be a lot of store unless you’re using a payment gateway.

A list of the payment gateways you can include:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Managing all of these integrations is fairly simple –as long as you are all set up with whatever tool you are trying to integrate with, you should not have any problems adding it into ClickFunnels. These integrations run smoothly and you do not need to fret much.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

If you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ main market is its ease of use–as their advertisement says,”Don’t waste any more time with’technology guys! ”’ As I’ve stated in this ClickFunnels review, the main service ClickFunnels offers is providing tools that allow the less experienced to save time and money. That being the situation, evaluating ease of usage is really significant.

Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you need to still have some experience.

Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it may be a bit overwhelming–and from first-timer, I mean new to the world of e-commerce and promotion –but the learning curve is far from impossible. For many people, I would say that the learning curve could be only a couple hours maximum. Pick up the books mentioned in the critique of Russell Brunson if you are actually behind.

Anyway, ClickFunnels is certainly easier than creating funnels on your own. They’ve a reasonable amount of documentation, and it might not be perfect, but it appears to me like most questions should be covered, and you can always contact a customer service representative if it comes to it.

All that aside, some parts of ClickFunnels are pretty easy to get a hang . The core characteristics of ClickFunnels–that the real funnels–are fairly simple to control. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate into all parts of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates to the drag and drop editor. Some settings regarding email integrations or charge processors will want a little bit of comprehension, but it’s nowhere near the amount of knowledge you would have to actually code the funnels–it’s stuff you’ll be able to figure out by Googling about or seeing the docs centre.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly straightforward, but it is overall streamlined with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change things often, but it probably won’t be sufficient to hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 at ease of use. It combines choice and customizability with ease, and while I would suggest all prospective users enter with a few basic technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is worried.

Who is ClickFunnels for?

Who stands to benefit the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small businesses and startups (talking from experience ) will get the most use from it. There are variations in funnel types that appeal to some companies more than others.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, individuals exclusively in e-commerce or community advertising, and even those offering B2B services would probably be most fit for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels generally does ventures or innovative products. The pre-made funnels are oriented towards these industries: for example, if you’re a gentleman, you may find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel for a fantastic method of marketing for you. If you are trying to center everything there could be support too. The same holds for individuals selling content such as books or classes.

Obviously, you could always start from a blank funnel, and I do not think you need to determine if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based only in their default funnel types. If you’re a smaller company, okay with the price , and you need to make your visitors work for you better, I doubt you’d be wasting your time or money with ClickFunnels. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to maintain a much better landing page.

Client Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having decent documentation on-site. I think their documentation is just for SaaS companies, but adequate. Their docs page includes a series of classes, each with their own posts. Content-wise it isn’t too shabby, although it might be easy. Clickfunnels Activecampaign Zapier

As for the customer assistance, they have a chat feature inside the dashboard after you log in, but I am not overly pleased with it. They’ve been helpful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but when I’ve had more advanced questions, I have found them fairly unhelpful. With one specific HTML publishing question, they took to return to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Users won’t require that kind of support and to be honest, most SaaS companies don’t provide that level of support. So I give ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

Additionally, I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. Notably, in instances when features have not worked when there were bizarre site malfunctions or as promised, customer support reps were supposedly either unresponsive or unhelpful. One notorious reviewer particularly recounts how, because of site error, some of his customers were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained entry to members-only articles. When he contacted customer support, he discovered that they were unhelpful and apathetic. It may be a situation, however it illustrates the point.

Overall Support Rating

I would not say ClickFunnels fails in customer support–I think that the team understand that their services are not absolutely easy to use and/or involve tools fresh to their customers, and they have put resources into their support to make it decent. At least fundamental questions will be answered, and they’re fairly responsive. Most users, myself included, wouldn’t say ClickFunnels has exceptional customer support, but it meets. We give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

What’s the verdict? It is fine –4 out of 5 stars! It’s a legitimate competitor in the advertising program area and worth trying out.

Yeah, there are a couple drawbacks: Should you want a more hands-on solution to your advertising needs with customization abilities that are greater, you might want to look. If you’re going with ClickFunnels after all, you might find yourself and end up dealing with unhelpful customer service representatives, or some glitches in the software. You might also be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering everything, I don’t think any of them outweigh the solid landing page builder, let alone positives like superior templates, integrations that are strong, and the short learning curve.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its center objective–to make it simpler for you to funnel traffic and attain conversion prices. Even negative ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be quite helpful for entrepreneurs that are less. I’m pretty certain that for the majority of users, the webpage builder provides enough choice. If you are looking first and foremost to get an sales solution or landing page editor, then ClickFunnels is a superb tool. On empty promises, it hasn’t attained its popularity after all, and that I’m giving 4/5 celebrities to it.
