ClickFunnels started back in 2014, but in just three years it’s been, in the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet marketing industry.” Here’s the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for companies and entrepreneurs to market stuff online using differently complicated marketing technologies, known as sales funnels (more about those in a moment ).
The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as renowned and for good reason. He’s made a fortune from ClickFunnels, but other marketing experiences. He played with email marketing for a while, and eventually began to master sales funnels.
Russell Brunson is the bestselling author of DotCom Secrets two books, and Secrets that his fans rave about and that direct people. You are able to pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his site here. Get Expert Secrets free on his own website here. Click Funnels Scam
ClickFunnels started out as a means to help Brunson and his team produce funnels more quickly for different ventures, as creating funnels would normally take months. They soon realized their creation would be helpful to others and had good potential as a commodity.
What Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work
Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it’s a procedure that takes people who do not understand you personally and turns them to customers, aka a marketing funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of measures designed to direct a website visitor to the checkout page.
There is a method of considering it. Step 1: Imagine a funnel. Step 2: Envision this funnel is in fact a metaphor, and instead of actual ingredients to pour down the funnel, you’ve got metaphorical ingredients you call internet traffic or site visitors. Your website visitors are looking around, checking out things. Your website is beautifully designed, and your content is top notch!
Unfortunately, that doesn’t turn many of your visitors . In a physical shop, that is like people walking in to your store but not knowing where the cash register is, so that they leave the shop without buying anything. At a physical store, you can speak your clients. In a digital store, you may be a bit more remote from the visitors. This is where your funnel comes in–it’s designed to attract your clients’ through principles of psychology. The funnel works step-by-step, draw visitors in closer and closer till people end up at a payment page.
You’re right, if you feel that sounds cool –it has turned into a huge bargain for internet advertising. Russell Brunson did get wealthy by selling ClickFunnels technology, but by using it.
Pros: ClickFunnels Review
I have got some good information: ClickFunnels does its job!
ClickFunnels is meant to save you time and energyto do what requires a lot of technological proficiency and/or a range of third party software. In this respect, ClickFunnels succeeds.
Makes You Cash
One of the greatest things about ClickFunnels is its focus on making your consumer money. They make it put up your content simple to make your accounts, and start taking payments. Plus, it’s rather easy to pick up everything –it will probably take you a few hours to find out a lot of what you require, maximum.
Drag and Drop Builder
Quite a few features are extremely useful here. I like how easy it is to duplicate pages, and the fact I can save templates for use again later. Their webpage builder is a pretty important attribute, and they’ve pulled it. It is an simple to use drag and drop builder, once you become used to it.
Built in A/B testing is excellent too. All you need to do is duplicate a page, make your changes, and pick the numbers of your visitors you want to see variant A or B.
Great selection of Integrations
I believe ClickFunnels manages API integrations . Email autoresponders and payment chips aren’t too much of a sweat–they operate reliably and are simple to manage.
You’ll also find a handy WordPress plugin which allows you add ClickFunnels webpages. It saves a good deal of time and is much less of a hassle than functioning between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a strong 4.4 stars from the WordPress plugin , using over 20,000 active setups.
All in one
Overall, it’s good to have things so centralized: I will construct my landing pages, produce forms and purchase forms, and activate emails all from 1 platform.
All this really does save you time and money, resources you’d otherwise need to invest on programmers, CSS, hosting configurations, etc.
You may rest assured that the lower-tiered account is a great investment–what you’re allowed for a StartUp accounts is really decent. If you’ve got over 20,000 visitors and want over 100 pages, the complete package may not be too much to ask. Click Funnels Scam
ClickFunnels is not perfect, but it does a great job of packing great tools together and making them more accessible. It arguably conserves most users a hassle they would have when they tried to manage funnels another way.
Cons: Clickfunnels Review
I have some bad news: although ClickFunnels is overall strong, it’s a number of areas that need work.
A drawback is the price. There are two alternatives, at $97 per month or $297 a month. In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t a huge drawback, just another investment in your organization, and like I have mentioned, you receive a package for it.
Lackluster Client Support
Beyond this, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they’ve been fine with fundamental questions, but if you ask them harder things, particularly about more advanced features, they will not be quite beneficial.
Cult-like user base and software too reliant on Creator
This is not an objective criticism of the merchandise but that I take a small issue with their advertising that I think is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.
If you get sucked into one of their funnels, it’s hard to escape the hype surrounding it. They’ve a advertising for certain. However, from a user experience standpoint, it can acquire obtrusive. Once you register for the software, you can try to examine the objective features of the software and incorporate it in your own workflow, or you’ll be lost and made to find out Russell Brunson’s advertising procedures.
This usually means you will end up purchasing online courses, publications, attending conventions, and getting sucked into the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k members and articles consists of people flashing their sport cars and bragging about how much money they created. Though these numbers are real, the consumers give an impression that they are more focused on making quick cash rather than building great products and services. ClickFunnels has helped folks do good things, but it’s also helped proliferate fast rich schemes, online courses, saturation of trainers and specialists, along with other spammy online marketer stuff.
Most of us know the founder is a marketing but so much of this item is tied to his doctrine and his brand. As much as I value the landing page builder, everything around it looks to be an expansion of Brunson’s platform.
At times it’s hard not to get the sensation that ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than mandatory, especially when some elements of the product (i.e., client service) can still use some work.
This one is not on ClickFunnels but more about the community. As you have the capability to customize broadly within ClickFunnels, many people use designs. Taking into consideration the popularity of ClickFunnels, this has resulted in a large quantity of ClickFunnel-y seems. Diversity is important.
Software Outages and Bugs
Every now and then, ClickFunnels will return or encounter some errors. Though this doesn’t occur often, there is little you can do but wait patiently. If you are investing a lot in advertising or driving traffic to your funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch brings your pages down for even a couple of hours, you can potentially lose a good deal of money.
In addition, it is hard to know if your pages are functioning or not, if you don’t always check or wait until you hear from angry clients. When I clone webpages using the HTML printing alternative barring bandwidth, I deal with a few glitches.
Users Experience Differs… a lot
The dashboard changes often, the flow of creating new pages and funnels changes, a button will proceed, pricing choices change, etc–and it seems ClickFunnels is still figuring out things.
I enjoy consistency within my software if it is a business alternative.
At length, a criticism I have heard but don’t quite agree with personally: it is too easy, and too pricey for its simplicity. All these criticisms have a tendency to refer to home improvement approaches which may be more economical upfront and yield more control over managing certain details. But for less experienced users who are mainly seeking efficiency and an easy to use bundle of resources, I wouldn’t emphasize this too strongly.
ClickFunnels has two pricing plans–StartUp and Etison Suite, alternatively called ClickFunnels and Full Suite–and even StartUp starts on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 a month and Etison comes in at $297 per month. For what it is worth, you also receive a 14 day free trial to try out the support , so at least you do not have to commit to a costly program straight away. If you pay annually instead of monthly, you receive two months free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Full Package ).
Nonetheless, a little huh? Well, some might say so, and that I can see why–particularly if you compare to LeadPages, a comparable (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service that begins at $25 per month. But it’s necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to earn funnels more effective, and it does a pretty good job. I personally consider it a fantastic investment.
The main differences between an entry level consideration along with a premium accounts are as follows: StartUp receives the main service, the funnel-builder, with some limitations on the number of webpages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and just some of the full list of features.
However, both plans have unlimited connections, unlimited members, all complex funnels, A/B divide tests, and a few other commonalities.
Etison/Full Suite includes a complete list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this is a Backpack feature which lets you characterize a product as a one time payment product for your payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time obligations, this allows your customers pay for a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp has 1); unlimited funnels, pages, visits, and custom domain names; priority support and template asks; as well as Actionetics along with Backpack.
If you are confused with Etison/ Full Suite, don’t worry, it is confusing. This part I think ClickFunnels could really clean up. We’ll go into more detail at the subsequent section of this ClickFunnels review.
To outline the differences, StartUp basically conveys the core characteristic of ClickFunnels, which can be called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Total Suite, on the other hand, packages the cornerstone instrument ClickFunnels with two other providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and gives you the complete set of ClickFunnels attributes. You are able to view the full official record here.
Features Overview: Clickfunnels Review
Are ClickFunnels’ features complete? I think they’re solid and you get whatever you want. They’re largely intuitive and give you a fantastic amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are good examples of this and are very important functions, so I’ll be giving them different segments. Click Funnels Scam
A/B split testing is a feature, but definitely a one.
If you duplicate a webpage and make changes to the copy, the divide test essentially enables you to select what percentages of your visitors that you need to see per page, letting you test conversion rates very conveniently. It’s a function and very easy to use.
In addition, I believe ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for other settings, such as your account information or integrations. Maybe very tech literate individuals would find them prohibitive (a common theme among some criticisms), but as the support is supposed to be easy to use, I thought the fundamental features were pretty good.
There are a number of types of accessible pre-made funnels, oriented into different types of businesses, and you can of course build your personal funnel from scratch too.
Actionetics and Backpack
I take a moment in this Clickfunnels Review to discuss Full Suite. Full Suite is just three products being packed as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.
What’s Actionetics? Well, it’s what many would call an email auto-responder or only an auto-responder, but it’s a bit more complicated. The chief objective of Actionetics is intelligent analytics which lead to smart auto-responding, but the auto-responding entails snail mail in addition to email, and some other goodies. Along with Actionetics comes Backpack (previously Backpack CRM), a tool designed to create managing an affiliate system simpler and more efficient.
However, are these features, or products that are separate? Actionetics seems a bit like ClickFunnels attempting to sell an iffy email auto-responder to me, but perhaps I’m just cynical. Whatever the case, it gets Complete Suite a little perplexing and removes the coherency you get together with the first ClickFunnels.
Here’s the full list of all StartUp features
- 20 funnels
- 100 pages
- 20,000 visitors
- unlimited contacts
- 3 habit domains
- A/B split evaluations
- Mail integrations
- Optin funnels
- All innovative funnels
- Sales funnels
- Membership funnels
- Unlimited members
- Auto webinar funnels
- Hangout funnels
- Purchase pages
- Upsell pages
- Downsale webpages
- Share your funnels

You can view the full list of features, along with Full Suite features, here. If you are in a position where you are able to manage to try Etison for a little and you absolutely require an efficient, easy method of increasing earnings, I don’t believe you would wind up shorted. By that exact same token, I really don’t think Actionetics and Backpack offer such a massive benefit that you can not do without them: for most users, just StartUp will provide a thorough adequate package.
Clickfunnels Review: Page Builder
This is ClickFunnels’ main feature, so I wished to devote attention to it. In fact, I think a large portion of why I gave ClickFunnels a top score has to do with it turned into a very good landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page construction software and advertises its funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it largely with this landing page builder.
Anyway, there’s quite a range of templates with good designs, however as you can expect, just the templates made by ClickFunnels are liberated. Templates are coordinated by funnel type, so poking around isn’t too hard.
You can also save certain templates and also make personal page templates, and it’s rather easy to see them. As you can see, you open in the editor and can toggle with fundamental settings.
Once you open your pages you’ll basically be working with a drag and drop builder. It’s a little more complicated than some other mild page builders, but it’s still easy to use.
The editor uses a webpage structure with four main components: sections, rows, columns, and components. Consider these components as fitting within each other (this article includes a helpful diagram). Basically: columns, rows, and components go inside of sections. You can have multiple sections per page. Rows and columns go inside sections, but columns especially enter rows. This way you may have a row with one column, or up to four. Elements are the lively bits that also make your page interactive to its visitors and go within columns.
It might sound complex, but it is pretty simple to get the hang of. Everything is color-coded–for example, from the above screenshot, the selection is a mild green box since it is a section, however when I was hovering over an element, it would be orange.
A small criticism I have heard (but do not have ) about the builder is the way grid-like it is–you need to work within these rows and columns. Personally, I don’t believe this is a huge problem and the builder provides you enough control without sacrificing ease of use, but it might be worth a mention.
I enjoy the page builder a lot. It makes designing your landing page very simple, and it serves ClickFunnels’ purpose: to make it easier for you to earn money online.
Integrations: ClickFunnels Review
Integrations are exactly what they sound like: additional marketing tools you integrate into the ClickFunnels software. There are a few distinct types of integrations you are able to enhance your ClickFunnels accounts: email, webinar, SMS/text, and activities. For example, you might add MailChimp for your ClickFunnels because you enjoy MailChimp’s auto-responding applications and you’re registered with them. Easy!
ClickFunnels has quite a few notable partners you can add to your integrations readily. Here’s a full list:
- Active Campaign
- Continuous Contact
- GVO PureLeverage
- HTML Form
- Mad Mimi
- Webinar Jam Studio
If you go to your integrations section, you can look for these or simply click the search bar, and they’ll come up. It, simply click the one you desire and insert it. Click Funnels Scam
The process for handling integrations is also straightforward, though you might need to look at your third party software’s documentation to discover precisely what ClickFunnels needs. Overall, you’ll discover the process simple. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few attributes, like the page builder, so it is much appreciated to have a very simple way of incorporating and handling integrations.
Connected to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways get incorporated and on other applications platforms are only called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they receive a section different from integrations. They might be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways will also be what they sound like: they’re the integrations that allow your customers to pay for your stuff. Your shop won’t really be much of a shop unless you are using a payment gateway.
A list of the payment gateways you can add:
- Blue Snap
- Easy Pay Direct
Managing each of these integrations is fairly easy–so long as you are all set up with whatever tool you’re trying to incorporate with, you should not have any problems adding it into ClickFunnels. These integrations operate and you don’t need to fret much.
Ease of Use: ClickFunnels Review
In case you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ most important sell is its ease of use–as their ad says,”Do not waste any more time with’technology men! ”’ As I’ve said in this ClickFunnels review, the most important service ClickFunnels provides is providing tools which allow the less experienced save money and time. That being the case, evaluating ease of usage is really significant.
Short answer: It’s simple to use, but you should still have some expertise.
Longer answer: To get a first-timer, it may be a bit overwhelming–and from first-timer, I mean new to the world of e-commerce and marketing–but the learning curve is far from hopeless. For many people, I’d say the learning curve would be only a few hours maximum. If you’re really behind, pick up Russell Brunson’s books mentioned previously in the review.
Anyhow, ClickFunnels is certainly easier than creating funnels all on your own. They’ve a reasonable amount of documentation, and it might not be perfect, but it seems to me like most questions must be covered, and you can always contact a customer support representative if it comes to it.
All of that aside, some parts of ClickFunnels are rather easy to get a hang . The core features of ClickFunnels–that the actual funnels–are fairly simple to control. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate to all parts of your funnel managing process, from choosing templates to the drag and drop editor. Some settings involving email integrations or payment processors will want a little bit of understanding, but it is nowhere near the amount of knowledge you would need to actually code the funnels–it is stuff you’ll be able to determine by Googling around or visiting the docs center.
Ultimately, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly straightforward, but it’s overall compact with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change matters frequently, but it probably will not be enough to significantly hamper you.
We give it a 4 out of 5 in ease of use. It combines alternative and customizability with ease, and while I’d suggest all prospective users input with a few simple technological literacy, it basically succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.
Who’s ClickFunnels for?
Who stands to reap the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small companies and startups (speaking from experience here) will get the most use out of it. There are variations in funnel types that appeal to some companies.
Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, individuals exclusively in e-commerce or network marketing, and those that offer B2B services would most likely be most suitable for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels in general does ventures or products. The pre-made funnels are highly oriented towards these businesses: for example, if you’re a gentleman, you might find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a fantastic method of marketing for you. If you’re trying to center everything there would be support too. The same holds for people selling content like courses or books.
Of course, you can always start from a sterile funnel, and I do not think you should determine if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based purely on their default funnel kinds. If you’re a smaller business, alright with the price , and you have to make your traffic work for you better, I doubt you’d be wasting your time or money with ClickFunnels. I would particularly recommend it to anyone who would like to keep a better landing page.
Client Support: ClickFunnels Review
ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for getting adequate documentation on-site. I believe their documentation is barely industry-standard for SaaS companies, but adequate. Their docs page includes a series of categories, each with their own posts. Content-wise it isn’t too shabby, although it might be easy. Click Funnels Scam
As once you log in for the customer assistance that is direct, they have a chat feature within the dashboard, but I’m not too pleased with it. They’ve generally been helpful for easy questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I have had more complex questions, I’ve found them pretty unhelpful. With one HTML publishing question, they required to return to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Users won’t need that kind of support and to be honest, most SaaS companies don’t offer that degree of support. So I give ClickFunnels kudos for trying.
I’ve noticed a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. Notably, in cases when features haven’t worked if there were site malfunctions or as promised, client service reps were supposedly unresponsive or unhelpful. One infamous reviewer in particular recounts how, because of site error, a number of his customers were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained entry to members-only articles. He discovered they were unhelpful and apathetic, when he contacted customer service. It illustrates the point, although it might be a situation that is weird, improbable.
Total Support Rating
I would not state ClickFunnels fails in customer support–I feel that the team understand that their services are not simple to use and/or demand tools fresh for their customers, and they have put enough resources into their support to make it decent. At least questions will be answered, and they’re pretty responsive. Maybe most users wouldn’t say ClickFunnels has exceptional customer support, but it largely meets a minimum which makes it at least great. We give it a 3 out of 5 stars.
Conclusion: ClickFunnels Review
What’s the overarching conclusion? It’s fine! It’s a legitimate contender in the advertising program space and worth trying out.
Yeah, there are a couple drawbacks: you might want to look, If you want a more hands-on answer to your marketing needs with higher customization skills. If you’re going with ClickFunnels after all, you may find yourself unfortunate and end up dealing with customer service representatives, or some glitches in the software. You might be annoyed by their self-promotion.
But you know what? Considering everything, I do not think any of these outweigh the solid landing page builder, let other advantages like templates that are good , solid integrations, and the learning curve.
All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its core objective–to make it easier for you to funnel traffic and reach higher conversion rates. Even unwanted ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be helpful for entrepreneurs that are internet-exposed that are less. I am pretty sure that for the vast majority of prospective users, enough choice is offered by the webpage builder. If you’re looking first and foremost to get an sales alternative or landing page editor, ClickFunnels is a superb tool. On empty promises, it hasn’t attained its popularity after all, and that’s why I am giving it 4/5 celebrities.
