What’s ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels began back in 2014, but in only three years it has been, in the words of Forbes,”silently revolutionizing the internet advertising industry.” Here is the gist of ClickFunnels: This makes it easier for businesses and entrepreneurs to sell stuff online using otherwise complicated advertising technology, called sales funnels (more on those in a moment ).

The creator of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is as famous and for good reason. He’s made a fortune from ClickFunnels, but advertising experiences. He played around with email advertising for some time, and started to master sales funnels.

Russell Brunson is the bestselling author of DotCom Secrets two novels, and Secrets that his fans rave about and that guide people. You can pick up Dotcom Secrets free on his site here. Get Expert Secrets free on his website Click Funnels Refund

ClickFunnels started out as a means to help Brunson and his team create funnels more rapidly for distinct ventures, as creating funnels would normally take months. They soon realized their production would be useful to other people and had great potential as a product.

Which Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work

Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s clarify what a marketing funnel is. In marketing, it is a process that takes individuals who do not know you and turns them into customers, aka a advertising funnel. In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of steps designed to guide a website visitor into the checkout page.

There is a less dull method of thinking about it. Step 1: Imagine a funnel. Measure 2: Imagine this funnel is actually a metaphor, and rather than actual ingredients to pour down the funnel, you have metaphorical ingredients you call web traffic or website traffic. Your website visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your site is beautifully built, and your content is top notch!

Unfortunately, many of your visitors doesn’t turn . In a brick and mortar shop, that is like people walking in to your store but not understanding where the cash register is, so that they leave the shop without purchasing anything. You can talk your customers into buying something. In a shop that is digital, you could be a little more distant from your customers. This is where your funnel comes in–it’s designed to appeal to your clients’ through principles of psychology. The funnel functions step-by-step, draw traffic in closer and closer until visitors wind up in a payment page.

If you feel that sounds cool, you are right–it has become a huge bargain for online advertising. Russell Brunson did become wealthy by selling ClickFunnels technologies, but by using it.

Pros:  ClickFunnels Review

I have got some good information: ClickFunnels does its job!

ClickFunnels is intended to help save time and energy–to do exactly what otherwise requires a whole lot of technological competence and/or a range of third party software. In this regard, ClickFunnels succeeds.

Makes You Cash

One of the best things about ClickFunnels is the focus on making money. They make it very simple to make your accounts, put up your content, and start taking payments. Additionally, it is rather easy to pick up everything –it will likely take you a few hours to find out most of what you need, maximum.

Drag and Drop Builder

Quite a few features are extremely useful here. I enjoy how easy it is to duplicate pages, and the fact I can save templates to be used again later. Their webpage builder is a feature, and they have pulled it off nicely. Once you become used to it, it is an easy to use drag and drop builder.

A/B analyzing

Constructed in A/B testing is great too. All you need to do is duplicate a webpage, make your adjustments, and pick the amounts of your visitors you want to see version A or B.

Great Choice of Integrations

I think ClickFunnels handles API integrations pretty nicely. Email autoresponders and payment chips are not too much of a sweat–they work reliably and are easy to manage.

WordPress Plugin

You’ll also find a handy WordPress plugin which allows you add ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress site. It saves a good deal of time and is a lot less of a hassle compared to working between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin. The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin can be rated a strong 4.4 stars in the WordPress plugin , with over 20,000 active installations.

All in 1

Overall, it’s great to get things so concentrated: I will construct my landing pages, produce forms and purchase forms, and activate emails all from 1 platform.

All this really will save you time and money, resources you would otherwise have to invest on developers, CSS, hosting configurations, etc.

Reasonable Value

You can be sure that the lower-tiered accounts is a great investment–what you are permitted for a StartUp account is really decent. If you’ve got more than 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, then the complete package may not be too much to ask. Click Funnels Refund

ClickFunnels is not ideal, but it does a great job of packing great tools together and making them accessible. It arguably conserves most users a hassle they would have when they tried to handle funnels another manner.

Cons: Clickfunnels Review

I’ve got some bad news: even though ClickFunnels is overall powerful, it’s quite a few areas that require work.

A small drawback is the cost. There are just two options, at $97 per month or $297 a month. In the grand scheme of things, this is not a drawback another investment in your organization, and like I have said, you get a good package for it.

Lackluster Customer Support

Beyond this, customer support is iffy at best. In my experience, they’ve been fine with basic questions, but if you inquire more difficult things, especially about more innovative features, they will not be very beneficial.

Cult-like user base and applications too reliant on Founder

This is not an objective criticism of their merchandise but that I take a slight issue with their marketing that I believe is worth mentioning in this ClickFunnels Review.

If you get sucked into one of the funnels, it is hard to escape the hype. They have a marketing. However, from a user experience perspective, it can acquire obtrusive. When you sign up for the applications, you may attempt to examine the objective features of this software and integrate it into your own workflow, or you’re going to be lost and made to learn Russell Brunson’s advertising procedures.

This usually means you will end up buying online courses, publications, attending seminars, and getting sucked to the ClickFunnels”Cult-ure”. Their Facebook Group has over 100k associates and most posts is composed of people bragging about how much money they made and flashing their sport cars. Although these numbers are real, the users give an impression that they’re more concentrated on making quick money instead of building great services and products. ClickFunnels has helped people do good things, but it has also helped proliferate quick rich schemes, online classes, saturation of trainers and specialists, and other spammy online marketer stuff.

We all know the creator is a marketing but much of the product is tied into his own brand and his philosophy. As much as I appreciate the landing page builder, everything about it looks like an extension of Brunson’s platform.

Sometimes it’s difficult to not get the feeling which ClickFunnels spends more resources on self-promotion than necessary, especially when a few aspects of the merchandise (i.e., customer service) can still use some work.

Too Templated

This one is not on ClickFunnels however more on the neighborhood. As you have the ability to personalize within ClickFunnels, a lot of men and women use layouts. Taking into consideration the prevalence of ClickFunnels, this has resulted in a great amount of ClickFunnel-y seems floating around. Diversity is vital.

Software Outages and Bugs

Every now and then, ClickFunnels experience some mistakes or will go down. Though this doesn’t occur often, there’s little you can do but wait patiently. If you’re investing a great deal in advertising or forcing visitors to your own funnels along with a ClickFunnels’ glitch brings your pages down for even a few hours, you can potentially lose a lot of money.

It’s also hard to know if your pages are working or not, unless you constantly wait or wait until you hear from angry customers. When I clone webpages using the HTML printing option barring bandwidth, I deal with a few glitches.

Users Experience Differs… a lot

The dashboard changes frequently, the stream of creating new webpages and funnels changes, a button will move around, pricing choices alter, etcand it seems ClickFunnels remains figuring things out.

I like consistency in my software, particularly if it’s a business solution.

Too Simple

Finally, a criticism I have heard but don’t quite agree with personally: it’s too simple, and too pricey for its simplicity. All these criticisms tend to refer to home improvement approaches that can be cheaper upfront and yield more control over handling specific details. However, for less experienced users who are mainly seeking efficiency and an easy to use package of tools, I would not emphasize this too strongly.

ClickFunnels Pricing

ClickFunnels has two pricing plans–StartUp and Etison Suite, alternatively called ClickFunnels and Full Suite–and even StartUp begins on the pricier side. StartUp is $97 per month plus Etison comes at $297 per month. For what it’s worth, you also receive a 14 day free trial to try out the support , in order you don’t need to commit to an expensive program straight away. Should you pay annually rather than monthly, you get two months free ($997 for ClickFunnels and $2,997 for Total Suite).

Nonetheless, a bit hefty huh? Well, some might say so, and I could see why–especially in the event that you compare to LeadPages, a comparable (overlapping, but definitely not identical) service which begins at $25 a month. However, it’s necessary to keep in mind ClickFunnels’ most important service is to make funnels more efficient, and it does a pretty good job. I consider it a good investment.

The principal differences between an entry level account and a premium accounts are as follows: StartUp receives the principal company, the funnel-builder, with a few constraints on the amount of pages (100), visits (20,000), custom domains (3), and only a number of the full list of features.

But, both plans have unlimited contacts, unlimited members, all complex funnels, A/B divide evaluations, and some other commonalities.

Etison/Full Suite includes a full list of attributes, including the following: one-time payments (this is a Backpack feature that allows you characterize a product as a one time payment product for your own payment gateways); subscription plans (another Backpack attribute, but unlike one-time obligations, this lets your clients cover a subscription service); 3 SMTP integrations (StartUp includes 1); boundless funnels, pages, visits, along with custom domains; priority support and template requests; also as Actionetics and Backpack.

If you are confused with Etison/ Total Suite, don’t worry, it is confusing. This part I believe ClickFunnels could clean up. We’ll go into more detail at the section of the ClickFunnels review.

To outline the gaps, StartUp basically conveys the core feature of ClickFunnels, which is called (you guessed it!) ClickFunnels. Easy! Total Suite, on the other hand, packages the cornerstone tool ClickFunnels with two additional providers –Actionetics and Backpack–and also gives you the complete set of ClickFunnels features. You are able to view the full official record .

Features Overview:  Clickfunnels Review

Are ClickFunnels’ features complete? I think they’re strong and you get everything you need. They are largely intuitive and supply you with a good amount of control. The template editor and integration management program are good examples of this and are very important functions, so I’ll be giving them separate sections. Click Funnels Refund

A/B split testing is a smaller feature, but definitely a one.

If you replicate a webpage and make changes to the copy, the split test essentially lets you choose what percentages of the visitors that you need to view per page, allowing you test conversion rates very handily. It is easy to use and a function.

I also believe ClickFunnels is complete flexible and simple for different settings, such as your account information or integrations. Maybe very tech literate people would find them restrictive (a common theme among some criticisms), but while the service is supposed to be simple to use, I thought the basic features were fairly good.

There are quite a few types of accessible pre-made funnels, oriented into different types of businesses, and you can of course build your own funnel from scratch too.

Actionetics and Backpack

I’ll only have a minute in this Clickfunnels Review to discuss Full Suite. In my opinion, Full Suite is three products being packed together as one: ClickFunnels, Actionetics, and Backpack.

What’s Actionetics? Well, it’s exactly what many would call an e-mail or just an auto-responder, but it is a little more complicated. The chief goal of Actionetics is intelligent analytics which result in clever auto-responding, but the auto-responding entails snail mail in addition to email, and a few other goodies. Along with Actionetics includes Backpack (formerly Backpack CRM), an instrument designed to create managing an affiliate system simpler and more effective.

However, are these attributes, or products that are different? Actionetics seems a bit like ClickFunnels trying to sell a iffy email auto-responder for me, but perhaps I am just cynical. In any case, it makes Complete Suite a little perplexing and removes the coherency you get with the original ClickFunnels.

Here’s the full list of all StartUp attributes
  • 20 funnels
  • 100 pages
  • 20,000 traffic
  • unlimited contacts
  • 3 custom domains
  • A/B split evaluations
  • Mail integrations
  • Optin funnels
  • ClickPops
  • ClickOptin
  • All innovative funnels
  • Sales funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Endless members
  • Auto webinar funnels
  • Hangout funnels
  • Purchase webpages
  • Upsell pages
  • Downsale webpages
  • Share your funnels
  • 1 SMPTP integration
  • 1 charging integration per type

You can watch the full list of features, together with Full Package features, here. If you are in a position where you can afford to try out Etison for a bit and you also absolutely require an efficient, easy way of increasing sales, I don’t think you would find yourself shorted. By that same token, I really don’t believe Actionetics and Backpack offer such a massive benefit that you can not do without themfor many users, just StartUp will offer a thorough enough package.

Clickfunnels Review:  Page Builder

This is ClickFunnels’ most important feature, so I wanted to devote attention. In fact, I feel a large portion of why I gave ClickFunnels a high rating has to do with it being a very good landing page builder. ClickFunnels distances itself from page building applications and advertises its funnel strategy, but truth be told, I use it mostly for this landing page builder.

Anyway, there is quite a range of templates with good designs, however as you may expect, only the templates created by ClickFunnels are free. Templates are organized by funnel kind, therefore poking around is not too hard.

You can even save certain templates and also make own page templates, and it’s rather easy to find them. As you can see, it is possible to toggle with fundamental settings and open from the editor.

You will essentially be working with a drag and drop builder once your pages open in the editor. It’s a bit more complex than some other mild page builders, but it is still user friendly.

The editor uses a page structure with four main components: sections, rows, columns, and components. Consider these components as fitting inside each other (this article includes a helpful diagram). Basically: components, columns, and rows go inside of segments. You can have multiple segments per page. Rows and columns go inside sections, but columns especially enter rows. This way you can have a row with one column, or up to four. Elements are the dynamic bits that go within columns and also make your page interactive.

It might sound complex, but it’s pretty simple to get the hang . What’s color-coded–for example, in the above screenshot, the selection is a mild green box because it’s a part, however if I was hovering over an element, it would be orange.

You could also edit section, row, column, etc, via the side bar. All the small details and parts of your webpage can be altered or moved. The template editor allows for plenty of customization, but offers control that is good too. You can do a variety of things–mobile previews, edit colours, text, settings, and just about anything you expect. If you are handy with code, then you may also add your own CSS, Javascript, and HTML.

A small criticism I’ve heard (but do not have ) about the builder is the way grid-like it’s –you have to work within these columns and rows. I personally don’t believe this is a massive problem and the builder provides you enough control without sacrificing ease of use, but it might be worth a mention.
In general, I like the webpage builder a lot. It makes designing your landing page very easy, and it serves ClickFunnels’ goal: to make it easier for you to make money on the web.

Integrations:  ClickFunnels Review

Integrations are exactly what they sound like: other marketing tools you integrate in the ClickFunnels software. There are a couple of distinct kinds of integrations you are able to enhance your ClickFunnels account: email, webinar, SMS/text, and activities. For example, you may add MailChimp for your ClickFunnels since you like MailChimp’s auto-responding applications and you are enrolled with them. Easy!

ClickFunnels has a few partners you may enhance your integrations. Here’s a list:

  • Active Campaign
  • Aweber
  • Constant Contact
  • Convertkit
  • Drip
  • GetResponse
  • GoToWebinar
  • GVO PureLeverage
  • HTML Form
  • HubSpot
  • InfusionSoft
  • Interspice
  • Mad Mimi
  • MailChimp
  • Maropost
  • Ontraport
  • SalesForce
  • Sendlane
  • ShipStation
  • Shopify
  • Twilio
  • Webinar Jam Studio
  • YouZign

If you go to a integrations section, you can search for these or just click on the search bar, and they’ll come up. It’s pretty self-explanatory, just click the one you want and add it. Click Funnels Refund

The process for managing integrations can also be simple, though you might need to check your third party program’s documentation to discover exactly what ClickFunnels needs. In general, you’ll find the process pretty simple. Integrations are a little more technical conceptually than a few attributes, like the page builder, so it is much appreciated to have a very straightforward way of adding and handling integrations.

Related to integrations are payment gateways. Payment gateways become integrated and on other applications platforms are only called integrations, but on ClickFunnels they get a part different from integrations. They might be known to ClickFunnels as billing integrations. Payment gateways are also what they sound like: they’re the integrations that allow your customers to pay for your stuff. Your shop won’t really be a lot of shop unless you are using a payment gateway.

A listing of the payment gateways you can include:
  • Stripe
  • Infusionsoft
  • Warriorplus
  • JVZoo
  • ClickBank
  • Taxamo
  • Ontraport
  • Blue Snap
  • Easy Pay Direct
  • Recurly

Handling each of these integrations is pretty easy–so long as you are all set up using whatever tool you are attempting to integrate with, you shouldn’t have any problems adding it to ClickFunnels. These integrations operate smoothly and you do not have to fret much.

Ease of Use:  ClickFunnels Review

In case you haven’t picked it up by today, ClickFunnels’ main market is its simplicity of usage –as their ad says,”Do not waste any more time with’technology men! ”’ As I’ve stated in this ClickFunnels review, the main ceremony ClickFunnels offers is providing tools that enable the less experienced save money and time. That being the situation, evaluating ease of use is pretty significant.

Short answer: It’s easy to use, but you should still have some expertise.

Longer answer: For a first-timer, it may be a little overwhelming–and from first-timer, I mean new to the area of e-commerce and promotion –but the learning curve is far from hopeless. For most people, I’d say that the learning curve could be just a few hours maximum. If you are actually behind, pick up the books mentioned earlier in the critique of Russell Brunson.

Anyhow, ClickFunnels is unquestionably easier than creating funnels on your own. They have a fair amount of documentation, and it might not be perfect, but it appears to me as if most questions must be covered, and you could always contact a customer service representative if it comes to it.

All that aside, some pieces of ClickFunnels are rather easy to get a hang . The center features of ClickFunnels–that the real funnels–are fairly simple to control. A cohesive menu makes it effortless to navigate into all parts of your funnel managing process, from picking templates to the drag and drop editor. Some configurations regarding email integrations or payment processors will want a little bit of understanding, but it is nowhere close to the amount of knowledge you would have to really code the funnels–it is stuff you can figure out by Googling around or seeing the docs centre.

Finally, ClickFunnels is not mind-blowingly straightforward, but it is overall compact with an intuitive user-interface. They do tend to change matters frequently, but it probably will not be sufficient to significantly hamper you.

We give it a 4 out of 5 at simplicity of use. It combines alternative and customizability with convenience, and while I would suggest all potential users enter with some basic technological literacy, it essentially succeeds where user-friendliness is concerned.

Who is ClickFunnels for?

Who stands to benefit the most from ClickFunnels? Broadly speaking, small companies and startups (speaking from experience here) will get the maximum use out of it. There are naturally variations in funnel types that appeal to a companies over others.

Consultants, speakers, coaches, professional service providers, people exclusively in e-commerce or network advertising, and those that offer B2B services will most likely be most fit for ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels generally does products or ventures that are individual. The pre-made funnels are oriented towards those industries: for instance, if you’re a florist, you may find the pre-made Daily Deal Funnel to be a good method of marketing for you. If you’re attempting to center everything around yourself and your brand, there could be support also. The same goes for people selling content such as classes or publications.

Obviously, you could always start from a sterile funnel, and I do not think you should decide if ClickFunnels is ideal for you or not based only in their default funnel types. If you’re a smaller business, alright with the price , and you have to produce your traffic work for you , I doubt you’d be wasting your money or time using ClickFunnels. I would particularly recommend it to anybody who wants to maintain a much better landing page.

Client Support:  ClickFunnels Review

ClickFunnels’ customer support is. I commend ClickFunnels for having adequate documentation on-site. I believe their documentation is barely industry-standard for SaaS companies, but still sufficient. Their docs page has a collection of classes, each with their own posts. Content-wise it isn’t too shabby, although it may be easy. Click Funnels Refund

As once you log into for the immediate customer service, they have a feature inside the dashboard, but I’m not overly pleased by it. They have generally been useful for simple questions and basic troubleshooting… but once I have had more advanced questions, I’ve found them fairly unhelpful. With one HTML publishing question, they required three months to get back to me. By then, I figured out a workaround. Most users will not need that sort of support and to be honest SaaS businesses don’t offer that level of support. So I give ClickFunnels kudos for trying.

I’ve discovered a consistency among reviews pointing out bad experiences. In instances when features haven’t worked when there were weird site malfunctions or as promised, customer support reps were supposedly either unhelpful or unresponsive. One infamous reviewer particularly recounts how, due to site error, some of his clients were locked out and how other non-paying visitors gained access to members-only articles. After he contacted customer service, he found that they were apathetic and unhelpful. It illustrates the point, although it might be a weird, improbable situation.

Overall Support Rating

I would not say ClickFunnels fails in client support–I think the team understand that their solutions are not simple to use and/or involve tools new to their users, and they have put enough resources in their support to make it decent. At least questions will be answered, and they’re pretty responsive. Maybe consumers would not state ClickFunnels has exceptional customer support, but it meets a minimum that makes it. In this class, we give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Conclusion:  ClickFunnels Review

What’s the conclusion that is overarching? It is fine! It is a legitimate competitor in the advertising program area and worth trying out.

Yeah, there are a few drawbacks: If you want a more hands-on answer to your advertising needs with customization abilities that are higher, you may want to look. If you are going with ClickFunnels after all, you may find yourself and end up dealing with customer service agents, or any glitches in the program. You might also be annoyed by their self-promotion.

However, you know what? Considering all, I do not think any of them outweigh the solid landing page builder, let alone positives such as superior templates, integrations that are solid, and the brief learning curve.

All-in-all, ClickFunnels succeeds in its core goal –to make it easier for you to funnel visitors and attain conversion prices. Even negative ClickFunnels reviews admit it can be useful for significantly less entrepreneurs. I’m pretty certain that for the majority of users, the webpage builder offers choice. If you are looking to get an sales solution or landing page editor, ClickFunnels is a great tool. On empty promises, it hasn’t attained its popularity In the end, and that I’m giving it 4/5 celebrities.
